All we want for Christmas is our BFP! All aboard the December Bus...

Starting the boarding for the December Bus...

My history if anyone is interested:-

DS1 in October 2012. Started ttc for dc2 last September. Got BFP in the November but MC'd at 5 weeks.
Fast forward to July, got another bfp. Started bleeding on August Bank Holiday weekend and found out we had MMC at 11 weeks. Had ERPC a week later. 5 weeks later after still getting positive hpts, found out the ERPC had been completely unsuccessful and had to have whole bloody procedure again.

Anyway. Now got my first proper period after all the above bullshit and hoping for bfp on or before the 18th December

I can see a faint shadow which is how one of my pregnancies started, so I'd say positive! Xmas Grin

It'd be good to compare with a test tomorrow with fmu too? Then you should hopefully see more of a second line.

ginandjazzhands did you enter your withdrawal bleed into Ovia? As well as your first period? I did, and then I had OV symptoms and was confused because Ovia said my fertile window wasn't for over a week. I then twigged, edited to remove the withdrawal, and it changes my fertile window to start from that day. I was so glad I realised in time. Hopefully you haven't missed the boat too.

Loving the lining up with the hair grip pic - very helpful - def a line there!

So I've had a temp dip and a positive OPK this evening. Which means the TTC is SERIOUSLY on now. We've DTD every other day this week - last time was last night - we need to do it again tonight, don't we?

Have to say we've been enjoying it very much, but I promised DH I wouldn't go crazy test with OPKs and I think he might get suspicious if I try it on tonight... So stealth seduction it is!

I've got about 2.5 hours to get all the washing/work done so I can legitimately suggest an early night. Also need a bath to shave legs. Wish me luck ladies, I'm on a mission!!!

crunchy I can def see a line on the first pic!!! I'd keep testing.
shemozzle thanks for the advice - I haven't had a bleed or AF at all yet; only removed the implant mid November. Original plan was to let everything settle down then start TTC at somepoint in 2016 but we got overexcited, so I've brought this confusion/stress onto myself. Hopefully now OV'd as I had a temp spike this morn, DTD this morn and OPK back to a negative this evening. I might have missed the boat but hopefully I will at least know a bit more about my cycle after a few months.

Thanks for your replies guys, I'm so pleased that it's not entirely in my head. Will try again tomorrow morning and post another pic. Fingers crossed! Haven't told DH yet as it's still so faint and I'm feeling cramps exactly like AF is about to turn up at any moment, so trying not to get carried away. Going to pick up a FRER after work tomorrow and see if I can get a line he can get excited over!

Another bfn for me this morning Xmas Sad

I know I'm only 10/11dpo but with the knowledge of my CB ov sticks not going to peak this month, I'm not particularly hopeful.

How early do symptoms start? I think I'm only 5dpo but feeling a bit rubbish at the moment. Really bloated and sicky. It might just be a pre Christmas flu from all the stress but fingers crossed. Trying really hard not to take a test as its way too early. Will try on the 23rd and hope for a Christmas miracle! Any one else testing right around Christmas?

Jamjar I'm due to test the 23rd too Smile. I'm not holding much hope as we've been ttc for years, but you never know.

Sorry celen Sad, many people don't get a bfp until 14/16 dpo.

Crunchy I couldn't see anything yesterday, but it's definitely there today! Congrats!! Xmas Grin

I'm currently 8dpo and my back feels like its trapped in a vice, I've got stomach cramps, feel quite dizzy and a bit sick. I have no idea if those are my normal symptoms pre AF as I only really stopped taking the pill in Sept after years and years Confused. I don't test until Friday (19th) though - not sure how I am going to hold out if AF doesn't show before then.

Finally had a darker opk but still maybe another few hours or day until it's properly positive. Ovia says Wednesday is my peak which would give me an amazing 14 day luteal phase for the first month in s long time! I've been taking prenatals with extra b complex and a thyroid supplement as I'm borderline hypo. Got a good amount of ewcm so we dtd yesterday morning and will do again tonight and maybe tomorrow night if dh feels up to it! Very exciting to think we are at least doing all the right baby making things. Maybe I'll get lucky? Got to think positive Xmas Smile

Jam FF predicts AF is due on the 27th, but we fly to Spain for new year that day so think I'll def test before or I'll definitely go insane. I sometimes have a 23 day cycle so could technically test on Christmas Eve if no AF... I'm not even going there! --Even though I may have bought some FRER on eBay last night.

Actually I have a question...

I got a positive OPK yesterday as well as a big temp drop, so this all indicates ovulation. DTD sat night and last night (DH at first said he was too tired and tried to knock me back - he failed Wink)

But FF still has my most fertile day marked as today. And today is the first day I've had any EWCM - at least I think I have, haven't actually been to the loo all day Blush

So... Do I need to DTD tonight again??? I mean, I'm more than happy to but we're both knackered and I think he'll definitely suspect I'm up to something...

From what I've read a positive OPK indicates ovulation within 12-36 hours but if you've already had the temp drop that's probably a better way of pinpointing it. I'd say you're probably covered so don't need to DTD... But one more for good luck probably wouldn't hurtWink

Very clear BFP on a FRER after work today! Told DH, I think he's a bit stunned Grin. I really wasn't expecting it this cycle - no symptoms to spot apart from slight cramps the last couple of days, unlike some previous cycles!

Good luck to everyone still in the 2WW, hope you get your xmas BFPs. I'll be hanging around to see how you get on xxx

I'd say go for it nene but don't beat yourself up if it doesn't work out as you are already in a fab place!
jaunty those symptoms sound really positive but I'm in the same place as you - just started TTC after forever on the implant so it's hard to tell when you don't know what normal is. Fx for you!
jamjar fx on your symptoms - reckon I'll be 14dpo around Boxing Day and I haven't got a hope in hell of lasting that long before I POAS! Xmas Grin

snow that sounds promising. I was expected to ovulate on thurs / Friday but I've just got a positive on the opk! We dtd Friday night, last night & will again tonight & tomorrow. Fingers crossed for us both!! :)

Hi guys just reading all your lovely posts! I'm 12dpo and have tested twice both bfn I'm going crazy wanting them 2 lines ahah! How many dpo do you generally start to see lines? I have had no symptoms what so ever for pg or AF apart from ewcm yesterday was like pritt stick glue sorry for tmi! Congrats to every one who has had a bfp this month fx for everyone else xxx
