Starting the boarding for the December Bus...

My history if anyone is interested:-

DS1 in October 2012. Started ttc for dc2 last September. Got BFP in the November but MC'd at 5 weeks.
Fast forward to July, got another bfp. Started bleeding on August Bank Holiday weekend and found out we had MMC at 11 weeks. Had ERPC a week later. 5 weeks later after still getting positive hpts, found out the ERPC had been completely unsuccessful and had to have whole bloody procedure again.

Anyway. Now got my first proper period after all the above bullshit and hoping for bfp on or before the 18th December

Fingers crossed! I can't decide if I see anything or not, think I have become sick of the sight of pregnancy tests! It looks promising though :)

Hi Snowdog, I don't know much about length of luteal phase, this ttc malarkey is fascinating and I'm learning so much, haha. If you have a shorter luteal phase would the embryo implant more quickly? Or would your period more likely be late but a bfp takes longer to show up? I always wondered why some people get a bfp feom 9/10 days and others not until they are a week or more late for AF, but the short luteal phase could explain why?

What day does everyone else think they ovulate on? I actually have absolutey no idea of my cycle length because I've always been on long term contraception or pregnant! My fertility app has presumed a 28 day cycle, and I had lots of EWCM on the day it said I was starting the fertile period for a couple of days and then it went. But now it's come back full force just after the assumed fertile period has ended! So I have no idea really. Interested to hear a range of others and to see how much they deviate from the average.

Well still no AF here, so I guess I'm still in. Feel like I've had less twinges today, so a bit surprised it's not happened really. Probably wake up to it! I'm only one day late.

I'm still here. Decided not to test when my app told me to (Monday this week), as app also told me AF not due until next Monday. So saving my pennies and waiting. If nothing by Monday, will test. Not overly hopeful by fingers still crossed. Good luck everyone else still in!

Cycle #2 of trying (39, 33 and 49 day cycles post-pill)

On CD 63 today with +ve OPKs today and yesterday, EWCM +++ and a high cervix. Hoping this is ovulation and I'll be testing just before new year.

Snowdog, I'm ovulating roughly the same as you! Are you using ov sticks? I think I'll start dtd from today every 2 days until ovulation :)

Hubby and I have just started TTC. This is our first cycle. After studying my apps for weeks, we were all ready for the fertile window with the peak day being next Monday. Being super eager, we DTD on Tuesday and Wednesday, knowing it probably wouldn't amount to much. I've had EWCM since Monday and had 'a feeling' it was coming soon.
Had right sided pain today so did an OPK and its showing as positive. I updated the app and my most fertile day was yesterday! AF only ended a week ago today so wouldn't have expected it so quick.

What do you think we should do? Should we have sex tonight too or is it better to wait til Friday? I'm glad we did it yesterday now! But worried we missed a few opportunities before ovulation.

I'm still in it at the mo, no af as yet. Only 2 days late though. I've never felt so tired in my life, but everyone I work with is like this at the mo!

Still planning to test tomorrow am if no signs of af then. Would leave it later but feel I need to know because of drinking at work party!

Zazzles yes I am, I got a 50 pack of ovulation sticks by Wondfo off Amazon so I can check twice a day for the next 2 cycles and get an idea of my day of ovulation. I have a short cycle 25 days or thereabouts and I think I ovulate around day 15 maybe earlier. It's all really fascinating learning more about my wacky body! We are dtd every 2 days now too from last night til next Friday probably. That should cover ovulation. Good luck!
