Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Oh wow, cori, sounds amazing! Very jealous. Hope your DD sorts herself out - I can't imagine how difficult parenting teenagers must be.

angelazul · 05/12/2015 13:47

Cori Caribbean cruise sounds amazing, just a tad jealous Envy

Lil glad to hear the scan went well, thanks for giving us some hope!!

All other vidroids, Flowers Wine as appropriate.

Haven't really much to update, still no sign if the witch & it's now CD41/CD13. If CD13, I kinda would've expected some signs of ice by now, but had none at all. We keep shagging just in case though Wink

ChatEnOeuf · 05/12/2015 19:25

Ooh, I'd love a Caribbean cruise right about now. Opted instead for a glass of excellent champagne, courtesy of DH's boss. Welcome home Wine

coribeth · 05/12/2015 22:01

Actually it's Caribbean, cape Verde isles and canaries last and only time we went on hols was to Norfolk nearly 3 years ago it's making turning forty worth while!Grin
sock teenagers are by definition horrible! However I am praying its a phase she will grow out of it and turn into the reasonable human being I know she can be! Hmm

oneyorkshirepud · 06/12/2015 09:50

Welcome back Chat! And good work on the champagne

Star to Mr Cori! Can we all come?

ChatEnOeuf · 06/12/2015 19:14

Lovely! Cape Verde is on my list - couldn't make the flight times work this year...

So. No red convertible on my drive. Fully expecting her to do her thing and mess me around for a couple of days, get my hope up...you know the score - but she was meant to pitch up on Friday. Weird, hmm?

oneyorkshirepud · 06/12/2015 20:05

Hmmmm, weird indeed... when are you planning to POAS? Smile

coribeth · 06/12/2015 20:10

chat I'm in the same boat was expecting af on Thursday still nothing but I'm not falling for it this time! I know she's just screwing with me! Hmm

justtheonethen · 06/12/2015 20:16

Well that does sound positive chat gx

oneyorkshirepud · 06/12/2015 22:04

Ooh a sense an upcoming pissy party! Smile

Catscatsandmorecats · 07/12/2015 07:15

cori and chat gx its not the witch mucking you about and you have a happy poas.

just how was the wine tasting? Did you go and let your hair down?

angel I'm in the carry on shagging just in case camp too. I think I should have iced on Saturday but I can't tell anymore. We are on our week off now so can enjoy a bit more shagging Smile.

ChatEnOeuf · 07/12/2015 08:33

Well, still no sign. Maybe Friday - that'll be CD35...

coribeth · 07/12/2015 08:45

chat if by some miracle I am af free by Friday I will join you as that will be cd 37 for me and I have Deffo never gone that long before even pre clomid!

LondonGirl83 · 07/12/2015 12:23

Hey ladies! AF got my on Saturday as predicted. I'm now on CD3. I appear to ovulate on CD11 or 12 pretty much as standard so 3 more days to fertile window. At least its something to look forward to. I'm at least grateful that my cycle is shortish (25-26 days) as I think waiting ages to ice would send me straight

justtheonethen · 07/12/2015 12:24

I am super excited for Friday!
Wine tasting was fab thanks, and yes, I got wasted!

Ditsy79 · 07/12/2015 12:53

Gx cori and chat
AF finished on Fri, so back to JS-ing for me. Work Xmas party is on 19th, so will be during my twot - will have to go very easy on the booze just in case.
If nothing happens this cycle, am going to see the GP and ask to be referred...

angelazul · 07/12/2015 18:08

I'm excited already for Friday's pissy party, trying not to scud you both, gx chat & cori Grin.

Flowers London.

Ditsy how long have you been trying for?

Not much to update, same old here.

justtheonethen · 07/12/2015 18:14

Sounds like you're being really positive london Flowers

NFMBD(blood test): I did it!! chat I love you for suggesting emla.

Ditsy79 · 07/12/2015 18:44

We're on 7th cycle of trying now - but am 36 so think they recommend seeing gp if trying for more than 6 months. I know I an ovulating cos I did an OPK last month, ovulated on day 13. Already have a dd, who is 2.5 but the birth was pretty traumatic (emergency c section) and am worried that things might not be right 'inside'...probs should just stop stressing about it!

justtheonethen · 07/12/2015 18:59

Yes they will refer you after 6 months if over 35 but probably not if you have a child already. Do you have anything that could merit a gynae referred instead of fertility clinic? Long cycle? Bleeding between period? That way you could find out if anything is wrong and get it treated. I could be wrong but I know nhs won't offer assisted conception if you have a child, they may investigate though.
Opk doesn't mean you have ovulated, just that you had an lh surge, temping will tell you though.

MyBlackCat · 07/12/2015 19:05

Well done on the blood test just Grin
