You can't beat a Freddie Mercury-themed title to get a new thread going Grin

I really wouldn't want a cs, I just want to get out of hospital as fast as possible after the birth. They may want to keep me in because of the PPH I had last time but I hated being in last time and just wanted to get home. I was only in for 2 days but I really struggled as Rebecca wanted to feed all night long and I kept falling asleep. At least if we were home then DH is there too and I don't have to worry about falling asleep while feeding

Have been trying to think of nicknames for new Brooking Beans. Have got as far as Karp, given that Kip is already taken. And maybe Beeby (or BB, an acronym for Baby Beedles)? And Mollette?(although am concerned that sounds a bit similar to "molest". Not a good word when talking about babies).

hinkyhonk · 28/01/2016 18:47

pasta just a quick one about elcs as I'm delinquently mning while q is napping in the sling and the big boys are playing in the iPad because three chaps have worn me out today I was dreading my elcs as I found the other two stressful and the recovery hard but it was a really good experience actually. I was only in for one night (Cs at 9am and discharged at 6 the following evening) we could have got out earlier but Q needed a kidney scan. I had cracking pain relief and recovered really quickly. Two weeks in and I was doing the school run and three weeks in I was off all pain medication. So I guess what I'm saying is it doesn't have to be a long recovery... Just sayin'

Imps9 · 28/01/2016 18:58

So in light of that, I presume we can now add Pasta to the 2016 BFP list then...

Pastamancer · 28/01/2016 19:18

My neighbour asked me today if I was going to have another. It probably won't happen, a combination of DH not being willing and finances. I am very lucky to have the DDs so can't really complain

Imps9 · 28/01/2016 19:23

Well Pasta never say never I suppose. I'll add you to the BFP list anyway...y'know, just incase...

BeedlesPineNeedles · 29/01/2016 04:50

Maybe we should wait a little while for the name, I did 2 ICs today (one was out of date) and they were both negative. Clearly they're both faulty but I am a teeny bit worried

keepitgoing · 29/01/2016 06:25

No beedle, use your other good test, quick! X

BeedlesPineNeedles · 29/01/2016 06:32

No, no more testing until Monday.

I am pregnant, I'm not bleeding therefore I'm fine. And i have slightly sore boobs

keepitgoing · 29/01/2016 06:38

Of course you are, AF would have arrived, you're on no drugs. You are pregnant, you are!

Imps9 · 29/01/2016 08:03

Those ICs are notorious for not showing lines. With my ectopic (and before I got my "period") I was getting lines on FRER but none on IC and negatives on Boots own-brand digital. Yet I was pregnant (albeit in the wrong place!) there was HCG there and it was rising.

You are pregnant and that is that.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 29/01/2016 08:25

Yes positive thinking! it did implant and survive and grow. And if something goes wrong and I didn't have the PGS I still have 3 frosties left, and if I did have the PGS they might agree to start looking at other issues. And I've still got 2 more rounds that I've paid for!!
It would be a waste of Money if this one works not really

Glad its nearly the weekend

Imps9 · 29/01/2016 10:10

It's all good Beedles, it's all good. Everything is good.

What are your weekend plans?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 29/01/2016 11:20

Yes everything is still fine, I just wish I didn't feel quite so periody, but as there's not even a hint of blood I will assume cramps are good!

No plans for the weekend really, I thnk we're a bit scared to plan anything at the moment. Plus the weather is really yucky so a lazy weekend at home in front of the fire will be just perfect. What have you got planned?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 29/01/2016 11:39

have you seen this

Imps9 · 29/01/2016 12:32

Oooh thanks for the link Beedles - I have added a question, although couldn't really think of a proper question.

Fox28 · 29/01/2016 12:32

Hi all! You may not remember me... I was a brooker a couple of years ago. I still lurk, and just wanted to post to say OMFG!!!! I'm so excited for all the bfp's! By the time I got to keep's bfp I had tears in my eyes. So so pleased for you all. And can't wait for the same news from Loopy and Imps soon Flowers

keepitgoing · 29/01/2016 12:33

Dh working this weekend and my parents coming to stay

No skiing for you beedle!

keepitgoing · 29/01/2016 12:34

Ooh hi fox! I remember you , did you get a bfp? Have you a DC now?

Imps9 · 29/01/2016 12:38

Ooooh fox I remember you - am just trying to remember your story. Did you have RMC? Any chance you will be joining us again?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 29/01/2016 12:39

Thanks fox very kind of you to drop in and say hello

Glad you're the same keep I don't remember feeling like this last time possible selective memory but maybe that's a good thing :o

Will you tell your parents the good news?

No, no skiing but the snow has almost all gone, its rainy and windy and about +3 deg - truely yucky weather

keepitgoing · 29/01/2016 12:59

I'm also quite farty Blush

keepitgoing · 29/01/2016 13:06

I think I probably will beedle, they knew we were starting just after Xmas, there are drugs all over the place, I won't be drinking. Will be downplaying it though as it's so early. Is it not time for the 12 week scan yet...?

I agree, not like last time is good for you!

Fox28 · 29/01/2016 13:06

Yes I did get a bfp after a year of trying - my Brooking baby is now almost 18 months! Shock I may join you again, but not just yet Wink

Re. being farty... I remember when I was about 5 weeks pregnant I was completely convinced I was miscarrying as I had such bad stomach cramps. Turned out I overdid it in pizza express and it was just trapped wind Blush

keepitgoing · 29/01/2016 13:09

You'd better hurry as we're on the way outta here! Hope all is good x
