fly I did think it was anovulatory but the last few days have been really weird. I had several days of very wet cm, and three days of very very strong opks, stronger than I've ever had before. The last one being yesterday. Temps were still very low but went up by .4 yesterday and today, which might mean I have ov'd after all at some point in the last few days. What's confusing is that, if I did already ov then why was the opk so strong yesterday?
I've been reading up about pcos and know this can play havoc with opks. Although I'm not entirely convinced I've got all the symptoms, other than the irregular cycles but tbh it's only the last few months that they've really gone awry! Before the summer they were generally between 31-36 days which I class as irregular but my GP seemed to think was normal and not variable enough to indicate a problem. She said to class cycles as irregular they would need to be weeks difference each cycle. But I'm wondering whether pcos can lie dormant for a while then flare up?
I've also considered whether I might have had a chemical last cycle and this is what's causing the delay this month...however I don't remember there being anything unusual about last af. It came on time, usual consistency, nothing odd.
We've been discussing this on the FB group and with a bit of gentle persuasion from certain ladies I've decided to book another appt to see my GP. I can't bury my head in the sand about this much longer!
Sorry your suffering with your egg playing dodgeball too! It really is frustrating business! But couldn't you still smep anyway? It might only mean dtd for an extra few days in your case? Sometimes I think opks do more harm than good! If you hadn't have tested you'd just be dtd as planned without worrying about it!
