This is my 4th IVF - please tell me it might have worked this time? There's a line, but I took the test hours ago...

So after 3 failed IVFs, I POAS this morning to see if the 4th one has worked.

It's been 12 days since I had 2x 5 day old blastocysts thawed and transferred back.

I POAS at around 7 this morning, watched the urine make its way along, and saw the control line appear but no test line. Devastated, I went back to bed. I definitely hadn't waited the 3-4 minutes that the instructions say. I then got up 2 hours later and it looks like the attached pic.

Can I get my hopes up? Has this happened to anyone else and it's turned out to be a real BFP? I just need to test again tomorrow morning, don't I? Any tips on getting through the next 24 hours?

PLEASE let this be a BFP!

Oh LittleBear, I have no advice to give (I never managed a BFP despite numerous IVF's) but I've been where you are right now and I logged in just to send some support and love your way. I know how hard it is to be patient and be second guessing yourself and those darn sticks all the time. Hang in there, I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you! xxx

Those cheapy tests drive me mad, I've spent far too much time analysing them myself.
Really hoping you get your bfp, keeping everything crossed for you!

Do a first response. They're THE most reliable.

I was getting very faint (had to squint and tilt, repeat x 100) on those cheapie strips but had a very visible line on first response.

I hope this is it for you

Another vote for first response or superdrug tests.

Another one saying the superdrug own brand test, they gave me a positive before my period was due.

Your self control is amazing , I would be peeing on it right now !

I've peed , tilted , dismantled and took more photos of tests than I care to remember . I got my BFP eventually and then another naturally a year later

Got my fingers crossed for you tomorrow. I also had nothing showing on one of those cheap strip tests on the same day that I got a clear line on a "proper" test. I don't think they're very sensitive.

LittleBear, I'm not sure why I'm on your thread as I'm fortunate enough never to have experienced IVF, however I found myself totally drawn into thinking about you and your test!
