Sorry to hear the sad news lily and infinity

Also sorry to be losing kitty from the thread.

Is there a November bus yet? I'm so fecked off. Am just trying to clean up my act in terms of food (cut out caffeine, cut back on wine, TONS of veg, no sugar) in the hope it helps. DH is another story. He works extremely long hours and am sure him being exhausted and eating a pretty poor diet midweek is not helping. He rarely is home for dinner so just grabs a sandwich at work. Have bought him vitamins but he's not a believer (to be fair he eats well when he has time!). Anyone else have any top tips to help boost fertility?

Anyway, here are my depressing new stats:

MrsNuckyT
Age 36 (it's been my birthday - now officially OLD)
TTC#2
Cycle 7
Etd:14/11

Loki17 · 22/10/2015 10:18

You aren't old Mrs! My mum had my brother at 36. I'm trying to do the same in terms of diet. I only drank wine whilst af visited. I'm on decaff coffee (and withdrawing badly!) It's cd 13 for me. DH and I dtd last night but missed out on Tuesday and Monday so I'm feeling twitchy. Glad I'm not using opks this month because I could see myself going crazy like lady month. The tww is almost upon me though. Although, because we haven't used opks I can't be certain of when ovulation will have occurred so need to keep bding for a while. Hopefully, thst will keep my mind off of testing!

Hi bluebell - carry on TTC! I had a smear test a few months ago and we just carried on as normal. I then got abnormal results and actually had to have treatment. It wasn't especially pleasant but wasn't awful. I actually thought I was pregnant (no such luck!) just before I had to go in for treatment and was worried about it but the doctor wasn't at all bothered and said if I was they'd just treat me after I had baby. Hope this info helps you. I'm now awaiting the all clear (fingers crossed) but am carrying on TTC as normal now - doc also said that was find although no DTD for first 4 weeks after the treatment to let things heal. Chances are everything will be absolutely fine with you though, hope I haven't worried you.

Cookiesandcoffee · 22/10/2015 21:22

So far I'm strong and not tested.. Think I'm 8/9dpo but no idea how long my LP is following the pill. I really am determined to wait until AF! Everytime I'm convinced i have cramps that MUST mean I'm implanting in there or something I um.. Have to run to the loo. (Sorry tmi) this bug is very badly timed! And won't Bugger off!
Any testers out there???

Elliecherry · 22/10/2015 21:44

Vikki that is very early! You must be shattered!
I am going to test tomorrow when my tesco shop arrives with a test, I was due a few days ago.

Havetobecrazytolivehere · 23/10/2015 06:42

Hi everyone,

Ah Vikki I know the feeling, my three are aged between 18mths and 6 so someone always seems to wake up in the night or stupidly early in the morning. Only had to spend an hour sleeping on the nursery floor last night which is a result by my standards! My lo has a chesty cough and the oldest gets night terrors. My middle son just like to get up v early.

Well still no AF but my spa trip is tomorrow so would put money on it starting today. It is part of my birthday present and have been looking forward to it for ages so hoping AF holds off until Sunday. Good luck to everyone testing over the weekend Smile

Bluebell20 · 23/10/2015 08:08

Soda, thank you so much for sharing your experience - that has actually reassured me hugely. I'm so sorry you had to go through it though. Looking forward to hearing about a BFP from you :)

TattieHowkerz · 23/10/2015 09:41

Anyone else struggling to hold off from testing? I am due sometime between now and Sunday. I cracked and tested on Tuesday - silly. I'm now determined to wait til Sun (provided my period hasn't hit by then). I'm very nauseous today and gagged while brushing my teeth but reckon it is a bit early to be a potential symptom (I'm about 12 or 13 dpo)? Hopefully it is a symptom and I'm not coming down with something! My only early symptom with DD was ravenous hunger, which I don't have now.

Loki17 · 23/10/2015 10:01

Tattie I got my bfp at 12 dpo with dd. In your position there is no way I could resist testing! I'm on cd 14 so have a while yet. I know I'll test early though. My friend gave me about 50 Internet cheapie tests left over from when she was ttc so I'm not going to be able to resist those! Good luck!

lilygirl81 · 23/10/2015 10:09

Is there a November thread yet?

Loki17 · 23/10/2015 10:32

I just started one - it's a little early but it will help keep my mind off of the tww!

Thanks Loki.

I caved! BFN. Not first morning urine so not sure if I am out or not yet. I am certainly very nauseous Confused

Thisisbonkers · 23/10/2015 12:27

I tested early (see above^^) like a numpty. Not fmu either. Am also going to test tomorrow morning Blush. I need to know, I have plans!!

MrsNuckyT · 23/10/2015 12:28

Bad luck Amanda. Agree this is the worst bit, but at least you can drink wine with abandon!

Tattie - sounds like it could be a bit early to be feeling sick, but you're not out til AF shows, so keep everything crosssed and try again with FMU!

Guess I'll head over to the November bus!

Havetobecrazytolivehere · 23/10/2015 13:20

Well AF has arrived just as I had suspected.

Feel relieved it is finally here so I can get on with charting my cycle and ov next month but just wish it had stayed away until Sunday. Not the end of the world but just annoying when you have spent ages planning.

Does mean my AF should be 19th Nov so can jump aboard the next thread when I get back. Hope to see some of you get your BFP's by then, have a lovely weekend all xx

MrsNuckyT · 23/10/2015 14:41

Bummer, havetobecrazy - so annoying. However, enjoy the spa break nevertheless and have a relaxing time!

See you on the November bus!

Sodasoda · 23/10/2015 16:12

No problem bluebell glad it was useful. So I'm CD 29 today and think I'm 15dpo (I got my positive OPK on 8th October but don't do temps etc so not 100% sure when I ovulated). I'm always very regular though and get AF 14 days after my positive - so yesterday! No sign at all. I said I was out this month as DH was away when I got my peak but we DTD 2 days before then so still hope? Did a test last night but bfn... But you never know I suppose!

How do I get to the November thread please? Am pretty new to all this!

Hope everyone has nice weekends of positive testing and productive BDing!!

Loki17 · 23/10/2015 16:16

On the main page that lists the threads, it is called November Bus: Bonfires and BFP'S

Tamara160 · 23/10/2015 19:57

Tattie i'm due to test sat/sunday too and i'm going nuts! DH keeps saying to wait until AF is late but i'm desperate to know either way!

I've been having burning pains in my boobs and they're very tender. I've got odd cramps that aren't painful, just uncomfortable and lots of CM (sorry!) It almost feels as though AF could be coming but I haven't felt like normally do at this stage. I'm 10 dpo.

Vikkijayne2507 · 23/10/2015 19:58

Hello all, I've been following. I'm not sure I believe my app. It says that I ovd on the Thursday but my opk was positive on Friday so ovd Saturday. So the app fertility friend days I'm 8 days post ov but I think only 6.

Luckily my parents and best friend are here until Wednesday so unless af arrives I'm going to hold out or try to until then

Cookiesandcoffee · 23/10/2015 21:46

vikki go with what you think! You couldn't have Oved before your surge as far as I know?!
soda take a morning one?? I don't think you're out! Still hope!
tattie do you have one for tomorrow morning? Unless you can wait til Sunday?
tamara how are you holding off?! It's taking every bone in my body not to order some cheapies and pay for fast delivery. I'm CD27 but not far enough dpo to justify.
havetobe rubbish about AF. Try and enjoy yourself and relax. And get treatments you otherwise couldn't have had!

TattieHowkerz · 23/10/2015 22:04

I'm going to wait til Sunday. Nt going anywhere tomorrow. My nausea has turned to proper vomiting and diarrhoea Sad Lying in bed feeling sorry for myself.

Bluebell20 · 23/10/2015 22:10

Aw, sorry to hear that tattie. Hope you're being looked after!

DH informed me yesterday that pregnancy tests are "a rip off", so I think I'm going to have to invest in some cheapies unless I'm prepared only to test once AF is, like, a week late!!!
