Another horrendous af this one. Was wife awake at 4 am with cramps. Feel like utter rubbish. Looking through my diary it would seem I ovulated cd11/12 as I had really bad pains. That would mean LP is 13/14 days. Why I ovulated so early I don't know. I'm booking in at the docs next week.
If this cycle is the norm my next test date is 31st Oct so I'll go with that! So, new stats:

Simply
TTC #2
Cycle #4
Test date 31st oct

KittyandTeal · 07/10/2015 10:14

Chat we are more and more one and the same! Exactly the same, I should have af today but bfn and a temp rise!

Sounds good on your care plan. Mine only goes as far as 20 week scan atm. The idea is that I do 20-40 weeks once I get harmony results. I am definitely going to insist on either a 40 week induction or a 39 week elcs depending on how my anxiety is. When are you requesting your induction for?

Thisisbonkers · 07/10/2015 10:15

I was at the doctors this morning. Blood tests looming. She didn't seem to perturbed by my weird cycles but at least it has set the ball rolling.

KittyandTeal · 07/10/2015 10:16

That's good bonkers. Are the bloods for your cycle? I'm not sure what to even say or ask for this afternoon at the docs.

Belleboo23 · 07/10/2015 10:19

ok, i wasnt going to test for a couple of days but decided i couldnt wait so used a cheapy stick test and it wasnt my first morning wee but i got a very very faint second line - thought i was seeing things!! Ive tried to take a pic to post but it wont pick it up, im trying not to get too excited until i test again tomorrow :)

KittyandTeal · 07/10/2015 10:38

Woohoo. Congrats belle. Bloody hell this is a very lucky bus.

Belleboo23 · 07/10/2015 10:42

Thank you :) Im hoping its there and ive not just lost the plot seeing lines lol wish id tested first thing now xx

Thisisbonkers · 07/10/2015 10:45

Congratulations belle

kitty they are. I went in armed with my weird dates and cycle lengths. They won't refer til we've been trying for 12 months, but is going to test various hormones and thyroid stuff to see if I'm ovulating. She also mention polycystic ovaries? Heard of it but not sure what it is!

Belleboo23 · 07/10/2015 11:04

Did my last early superdrug test and the line showed up much better. Going to order the digital one to give me an idea of dates as I have no idea :) thank you everyone and good luck to all you lovelies it does seem to be a lucky bus. Hope this one sticks, I guess let the worry begin!!

October bfp bus, hop on your broomsticks and banish the witch!
KittyandTeal · 07/10/2015 11:07

That's pretty much my plan. My weird cycles are short LP. I've decided I don't want to go down the Ivf route whatever happens (I'm not strong enough mentally to deal with it and we're happy just the three of us)

However, I do feel time is ticking for me. I'm hoping they'll at least offer to do some blood work for me. I only really have a year before we stop ttc as the risks of trisomies after that are too high for me. Hopefully they can take that into account. I'm pretty sure they won't.

I know a little about pcos, it's usually linked to long cycles and effects your ovulation I think.

KittyandTeal · 07/10/2015 11:08

That looks a pretty good line there belle. Brilliant news. Fx for a sticky one

lilygirl81 · 07/10/2015 11:54

Belle That's a line!! Congratulations, this bus is unbelievable

ChatEnOeuf · 07/10/2015 12:16

Ooh, Belle that's a lovely one, congrats.

Kitty I can completely understand you wanting a near-term section, I'm sure they would agree to that. I'm aiming for 35w (34+ for steroids), he would prefer 36. The way I see it, I've had a normal birth (DD) at 37, then a vaginal breech at 36 (DS) - both rapid, 6hrs and 90 minutes. I really don't want to go into labour normally at home, too many bad memories. I want a controlled induction and monitoring. He would prefer 36 so the baby is at lower risk of a NICU admission (which is where I will be working, just to add fuel to that fire!). It's minor details at this stage - I completely trust him, then just need to trust my body and I'll be almost there...

KittyandTeal · 07/10/2015 12:37

That sounds like a well thought out plan chat. I'm sure with some persuading your consultant will come round. I guess they can't be seen to be doing pre 36 week inductions without a bit of resistance however, I remember your background and I reckon you have a strong case.

It's a bit different for me as being at term isn't an issue for me but I cannot go over, I would be able to deal with it mentally. I'm not entirely sure I would be able to give birth again and keep my anxiety under control (an elcs was on the table for dd2 before we lost her because dd1 got stuck during labour!)

Just got back from the gp who has done swabs and referred me for an abdominal scan. She didn't seem worried about my short LP (I knew she wouldn't) and said it wouldn't effect my fertility which I still don't understand.

She did an internal and thinks I'm tender around my right ovary. She also saw some spotting so I guess I'm out this month (as suspected)

Sakura03 · 08/10/2015 08:52

Congratulations Belle
Nothing exciting to report here, cd23...

lilygirl81 · 08/10/2015 09:09

Morning

Nothing really to report here. I'm at the GP just now, but that's about trying to get my nausea under control, stupid painkillers make me feel so sick constantly, had to leave work yesterday. I'm considering asking for a sick line, just to get me over this, but I have so many things I'd need to do before I could go off, I wonder if I could get one that started on Monday...

Hope you are all doing ok

Vikkijayne2507 · 08/10/2015 09:50

Wow congrats belle lovely looking line.

Waiting for af to leave bloody aunt takes forever to bugger off. Next week I have a cunning plan where I'm going to dare oh to dtd in as many different areas of the house (ex Ds room as too werid ) in one week to try and keep it Intresting and dtd as much poss.

I was looking back at my chart with Ds and we dtd 2 days jn a row 1 day break where I got a positive opk and then another 2 days will try and copy see if it works again

Thisisbonkers · 08/10/2015 10:12

Fingers crossed you get some workable results, kitty

Lovelybeano · 08/10/2015 11:52

Af is due either tomorrow or Saturday, I don't think I'm pregnant this time, I'm very tempted to test but I'm going to wait until Sunday, I haven't got any symptoms apart from the usual pms symptoms, I'm absolutely shattered today so I don't think af will be far away, good luck to everyone who's still waiting !! And congratulations to all those who are, it's a very luck month this month !!

KeepTheHope · 08/10/2015 12:22

Hi all, is it OK if I join? Feel like I could use some of the luckiness from this bus! Both DH and I have horrible colds so the last thing we feel like is DTD but I entered my fertile window yesterday so really need to give myself a kick up the arse and stop feeling sorry for myself!

Stats:
Hope
TTC no.1
Cycle no.2
Test date 24th October

Using the work computer, i've been here 18 months and only just realised the keyboard doesn't have a hash symbol!

wantingno2 · 08/10/2015 12:38

PommeBear · 08/10/2015 13:04

Welcome wantingno2 and keep the hope.

Wanting, you are not out yet until AF turns up so try not to get too down and it yet. I know its easier said than done..I've got another week to wait before testing and it will take all of my restraint not to obsess and early test! I am also 2nd cycle ttc no 2 and conceived 1st cycle last time and feel maybe its because I'm not as healthy as last time as well as now 38.

Fingers crossed for you
