Lily - I think you should believe it too!! Exciting!

I'm still feeling crampy this morning, and my boobs are so sore, but temp was low and opk negative. I'm so confused, feel like AF is about to rock up but I'm on cd9. I don't know if I should ring the clinic? Although not much they can do I guess, and I have a scan Wednesday anyway. Xx

lilygirl81 · 19/10/2015 10:53

Sammy I'd maybe phone the clinic anyway, it does sound a bit weird, when do you normally ov?

loopylou1984 · 19/10/2015 10:57

Cd13/14 normally. But I never get cramps like this.
I can't handle missing out on transfer for a third time. I'm scared to call them. Xx

nervoussam · 19/10/2015 11:00

Hello everyone, can I please join? I've met up with eskimoflo on a couple of other threads and she said what a lovely, supportive group of ladies you are!

I'll give you my story so far without boring you with too much detail. About 18months ago, I came off the pill in the hope that after a couple of months, my cycle would return and we could start TTC. It never did return so after several GP appts and one private one with a menstruation and fertility expert, I was prescribed norethisterone to give me a bleed and clomid to get my ovulating so we could actually officially start TTC.

However, 6 days after I finished the norethisterone, there was no bleed so my GP prescribed a stronger/longer course. I finished that one on Weds and still nothing so far. From searching other threads most people get a bleed after 3 days, although I've seen a few examples of longer. I've called my GP this morning for her opinion so am waiting for a call back.

At the same time as all of this, I'm mega stressed and know this isn't helping, I do really just need to calm down. My younger sister has just had a baby, they made the decision to have a baby after us and already have their gorgeous baby boy, and we haven't even started officially trying as I have no cycle. We're moving, the headache of mortgages, solicitors, house viewing, nightmares about packing etc. Its sending me crazy! There is a massive restructure at work with lots of people losing their jobs too, I think I will be fine, but it makes for an unpleasant working environment. All of this on top of the stress of wondering what lies in store everytime you go to the loo is having an impact on my sanity! Hopefully all you lovely ladies will help with bring me some light relief and words of wisdom!!! xxx

Thanks Boris, I'd love to be able to share it all with you here but I am not really sure how I will be able to do that yet. The blog is up & running, we're just waiting for a charity to comment on the petition before we publish it.

We want to have a 'safe place' though, somewhere we can still post completely honestly and openly. We're not being open about our diagnosis with our friends. They know we're struggling with infertility, but they don't need to know why.

So, my concern is if I post a link to the blog here, we will be traceable and I'll lose that safe place feeling. I will come up with a way to share though, you all have a little mention in the blog! Ha ha. Smile

Lily, I am sure he will come around soon. Like you said, hopefully it will help when you have a darker line. Smile

Birdie, thank you again. Yes, DH has had some tests to assess hormones and chromosomes, the results should indicate whether or not he does produce sperm. After that, we will start to assess options. The job is fabulous, thank you. Are you still with the infamous IT department? I Google, both of those issues sound painful. Rest up! I hope the tot is doing well too. Smile

DizzyMerry · 19/10/2015 13:14

Get shagging kir!

Pixa you could pm the link to those who are interested. I would love to read your blog and follow your journey but please do what's right for you in terms of sharing the info.

Woolly hope you're well. Have you joined the FB grads?

Turd your advice and support is really needed on here. You've been missed.

Pixa · 19/10/2015 13:24

DizzyM, that's a brilliant idea, thank you. If anyone would like to read the blog (although it's still in its infancy), please feel free to ask for a link. I'll put a note up on here when we launch the big campaign bit. Smile I feel rather naked having the infertility on show. Blush

Beansprout30 · 19/10/2015 13:30

Welcome nervous sounds like you've got a lot on your plate at the moment, not what you need on top of ttc stress! There's a few of us on here who've been trying well over a year.

pixa would also be interested in your blog, but totally understand you want to keep viewings controlled.

Congrats lily Grin

MagpieCursedTea · 19/10/2015 13:31

Hello all! Can I join please? We're currently TTC no. 2.
DS (conceived after 3 cycles of clomid) is 2 and we've been trying again for about a year. Started off with a very relaxed approach but getting increasingly obsessive.
I'm on CD82 Confused My cycles are irregular anyway but this is the longest by far since my periods came back after DS.

nervoussam · 19/10/2015 14:11

Thanks beansprout a year is such a long period of time, I do feel for all you ladies who have been trying for so long. I wish I could even be at the trying stage, at the moment its just practice! I've actually just had a call back from the surgery, my GP wants to see me and has opened up and appt on Weds for me. Feel good to be able to see her reasonably quickly, but a bit scared that she wants to see me, was half expecting to just be told to wait a few more days! Eek

Hello magpie have you been to the dr this time around to see if they can regulate you and get you on Clomid again?

MagpieCursedTea · 19/10/2015 14:31

I'm at a new surgery and they've not been as helpful as my last one but I'm due to start clomid when my period starts. Just typical that it's the longest cycle ever!

nervoussam · 19/10/2015 14:47

maybe go back and ask for norethisterone to bring on a bleed for you if it goes on for much longer x

MagpieCursedTea · 19/10/2015 14:51

I keep thinking I'm about to come on but it just hasn't happened. I started a very stressful new job 6 weeks ago and I'm wondering if that's what us keeping my period away? Will make an appointment if it doesn't arrive soon!

Nomio23 · 19/10/2015 15:19

Welcome Nervous & Magpie. It sounds like you have both had quite a journey so far. This is an amazing place for support, advice and laughter.

Lily, I reckon you are upduffed, lovely! Do you have a pic of the latest BFP? I wouldn't worry about DH's reaction, I think for a lot of men it doesn't become real until they can see a bump. They are kind of like children!

Turdie, it is lovely to have you and you wisdom back. Smile

Hi to everyone else. X

lilygirl81 · 19/10/2015 15:23

Nomino I couldn't get a decent pic of the latest one, still pretty faint but definitely there Smile

Nomio23 · 19/10/2015 15:37

A line is a line, Lily! Smile

Pixa, I forgot to say, I would love to read your blog if you don't mind.

Woolly84 · 19/10/2015 15:39

Welcome magpie!

pixa you amazing lady , I would love to be sent a link to your blog if that's ok Smile

dizzy yes I'm on there, just responded to your post there under my real identity - sorry should have realised you wouldn't know who I was!

Welcome Magpie and Nervous. Xx

eskimoflo · 19/10/2015 19:33

Kir Yay for your hormones! Now get thee to bed for some sexy time Grin

Lily Congratulations! Have you done a digital test? Will you?

Sammy Flowers Why are bodies so utterly confusing at times? Really hope that you get some answers, and that it's nothing that will affect the transfer. How are you feeling now? Any change?

Pixa I would love to look at your blog, you lovely, lovely lady.

DizzyM How are you? Are you still on a WTF cycle? Flowers

Bean What's happening with you at the moment? What CD are you on?

Welcome to Nervoussam and Magpie. Grin

Nervoussam So glad that you found us. Your story is so like mine; I just couldn't leave you out there in the wilderness foraging for tiny berries and scraps on your own. Come into our cave and join us. We have a blazing fire, a larder full of OPKs and thermometers, and a pool of Nutella. If you ask nicely, someone might do the 'period' dance for you and AF will drop by, It's just a matter of time, I promise! In the meantime, pull up a pew and get to know us Grin

Woolly!!!! I freakin' love youuuuu! Glad to see you still around.

Waves to Nomio, DizzyN (I know you're lurking...) and everyone I've missed, plus all of our lovely grads with your pile of pom poms and your banners!

I'm feeling the love tonight, people. Grin Started the clomid last night. Nothing to report. No hot flashes so far...

loopylou1984 · 19/10/2015 20:58

Pixa - I'd love to see your blog too :)

Eskimo - still crampy, I don't know what to think. Opks are almost stark white. Xx

eskimoflo · 19/10/2015 21:05

Sammy Confused Are you going to call the clinic or just leave it? I've had weird pangs and twinges in the past and nothing has come of it. If the OPKs are white, that's a good sign right?

loopylou1984 · 19/10/2015 21:09

I think I'm just going to leave it. It's not ov as temp is low and opk is white (yes that's good), and if it is some weird second AF it'll make no difference if I call the clinic, it will still come.

(I sound so chilled out. I'm really not.) xx
