rainy so sorry you're feeling low. You WILL get your bfp. We're waving our Pom poms for you.

lily you're not out til you're out. I know how heartbreaking a chemical is. If it isn't this month, it won't be long til you get your bfp.

ESKIMO well done clever Eskimo womb! So pleased you've got your af. Now quite enough of that, time to get your super well earnt bfp! Xxx

boris autumn is looking quite lovely isn't it. Sorry you're feeling under the weather xxx

Hey night how are you doing lovely?

turd Grin

waves to all the lovely ladies nom, beaut, dizzyn, dizzym, hopes everyone else I've forgotten Blush

lilygirl81 · 18/10/2015 08:00

Morning all

I really hope things turn around for everyone, this bus really does need a decent run of BFP's. In my continuing saga, AF did not arrive, I was up during the night being sick, despite being on anti-sickness drugs, and I do believe I got a v v faint line on an FRER, but no matter how I take the photo, I can't get it to show you all. I'm now going to wait a good few days then try a digital, maybe on Wednesday

Eskimo I hope so much that this is your cycle x

Sammy I am really excited for your transfer, and incredibly interested in the cost difference and experience you are having abroad.

mrslewis2015 · 18/10/2015 08:05

Turd, I'm really sorry you feel that way, but you don't know me at all, you have no idea who I speak to, who I care about, my journey, how I feel or why I posted on here, I have actually been following this thread for a few months, but that really isn't the point. This sort of community is supposed to be about sharing and supporting, in no way was I trying to upset anyone with my news. I'm sorry that this process has made you feel so angry but please do not judge me before you know me.

Hairstylisttoboris · 18/10/2015 08:07

Oh lily how confusing for you. How many dpo are you now do you think? Hope you feel ok today.

loopylou1984 · 18/10/2015 08:11

Lily - I'm excited for your outcome, keeping everything crossed for you!

It's not me having treatment abroad, it's Lucie. But having heard about her experience I would def go abroad if we needed to pay for another fresh cycle! Xx

lilygirl81 · 18/10/2015 08:12

sammy oops, sorry! I'm still half asleep!

nightandthelight · 18/10/2015 08:20

Have all my fingers and toes crossed for you Lily!

Thinking of you rainy, a break sounds like it could help you relax a bit and hopefully a BFP will happen for you very soon Flowers

Are the pessaries for ladies with short LPs Sammy? I have complete faith that at least one of your five embryos is going to become a beautiful baby :)

I am well thanks kir! How about you? I'm not leaving till everyone on here has their BFP!

Pixa · 18/10/2015 08:41

Yes Mrs Lewis, you're right in that "this sort of community is supposed to be about sharing and supporting", but that support is supposed to be two ways. Not one.

Beansprout30 · 18/10/2015 08:48

I think mrslewis you are totally missing turds point

loopylou1984 · 18/10/2015 08:59

Night - yes same things. In medicated IVF you have to take them to maintain womb lining as your body won't know to do it itself to begin with due to the hormones being messed around with.

I think in a natural cycle you only use them if your lining is a bit questionable, but I guess I'll find out for sure when we get started. Xx

nightandthelight · 18/10/2015 09:01

Thanks for the explanations Sammy :) So so excited for you!

lucieloos · 18/10/2015 09:03

Good luck Sammy do you know roughly when your transfer will be?

Mummyofonesofar · 18/10/2015 09:04

Thanks girls - big hugs all round to the original Bumsnetters and the newbies who contribute to the thread support X

loopylou1984 · 18/10/2015 09:06

MrsLewis - no one is trying to lessen the excitement of your bfp, it's wonderful news.
I think what they are trying to say though is that too many of us on here have really been struggling to conceive, with people having medication/investigations/iui and IVF going on right now, and it really stings when someone we haven't 'met' before comes on purely to announce their bfp.

The ladies on here are lovely, and I can truly call each of them a friend so I know they aren't being spiteful. I just hope you can understand the pain most of us are feeling on a daily basis.

loopylou1984 · 18/10/2015 09:08

Well it depends when I ov Lucie, but we're looking at around Halloween! Lol.
I'm a little bit worried though as had cramps in the night and I sincerely hope I haven't ovd on cd8! Will temp tomorrow and see what's going on and call the clinic if needed. Xx

lucieloos · 18/10/2015 09:13

I'm sure you won't have ov'd that early Sammy but I would definitely start temping and doing opks from tomorrow as you want to make sure you know exactly when it is. So excited for you. Really hope this is it this time Smile

loopylou1984 · 18/10/2015 09:31

Yeah, after my cancelled fresh cycle I didn't ov till cd18, so 8 would be crazy! Xx

Hairstylisttoboris · 18/10/2015 09:42

sammy I wonder if your body is cramping due to the stress / nerves at all? Our bodies don't galf trick us sometimes.

I just want to add to anyone new or lurking you really are welcome to join us. we will support and answer what ever questions we can to anyone who joins but please help us by joining in the community by supporting thoes having a bad time and a good experience and adding to the general banter. It's hard to share on these boards if you frequently give out support to others who come and then go really quickly with a positive test in hand. If you get pregnant quickly I really will be pleased for you, I'll be more pleased of you become mates with me first :) if you are new or lurking don't be scared off, pitch in and you will find us to be the most loyal, supportive and amusing mates on the Internet.

chopsface · 18/10/2015 09:58

bean! Sorry forgot to add you to my list Blush I'm 32 flipping weeks tomorrow!! This is getting real!!

Massive hugs rainy I thought I hadn't seen you for a while, but I'm thinking of you. XxX

Sorry you're in limbo right now lily I hope you know one way or the other soon luv x

DontBeAThoughtlessTurd · 18/10/2015 09:59

Yes, I would like to echo Boris' sentiments there. I am sorry for the harshness of my comments last night, but I was altogether unsure how to make my point in a less ragey way. And I am was ragey. This group of women are warriors and are dealing with breaking hearts and bodies that feel like they will never work properly. Their marriages are struggling, some of them, and others feel time is literally running out.

Please, please.. at least take the time to acknowledge their journeys before leaping in with your wonderful and easily-won BFPs. That really is all I wanted to say. Nobody resents a quick and easy conception for a newbie we hate you but what really grips our shit is when the newbie in question has flagrantly ignored the trials of others for the entirety of her stay until...ta-da...! she is thrilled to announce her pregnancy news. I call it being caring on a trying to conceive forum; I call it good manners.

Sammy, I am watching you like a hawk and with bated breath. You are amazing to have dealt with cancelled cycles and other frights. Your baby is just around the corner. Lucie, I've been shrieking with the news of yet another baby blasto added to your family. I'm thinking of The Waltons. Right?

To all the other Bumsnetters: you are amazing. This will all seem like an annoying blip in your life when your baby comes. And it will. I'll sod off now, but I think of you all loads Thanks

HopesUpKnickersDown · 18/10/2015 10:11

Lily so pleased to wake up to some positive news from you this morning, keeping everything crossed!!

Eskimo and Nomio thanks for the AF commiserations lovelies.

Beaut, I hope he DTD before he went out!! Angry

Sammy a Halloween transfer sounds like a good omen to me! Not long to go!

Big up to the grads still hopping on to give their support to those struggling Smile

lucieloos · 18/10/2015 10:59

Oh turd it's so good to see you, please say you will stay. I am in a panic at the moment as although I have managed to get 3 blasts over the last couple of cycles my response hasn't been very good at all and we are only getting 3 eggs collected now. We are going for another round in Jan but I feel time isn't on our side and I worry we won't get anymore or even if we do reach our goal of 5 blasts that it still won't work as a blast still only has around a 40% success rate or there could be something else wrong and they won't implant. It's such a hard process and causing me a lot of anxiety at the moment.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 18/10/2015 11:15

Lucie hugs. I'm certain it will happen. Fx for twins for you, sammy & Boris (if that's the route you take)

Sammy I'm sure you won't have ovulated that early. Ooh a spooky Halloween transfer. Let's hope there's some extra witchy magic at work SmileIs that when your birthday is?

Lily sorry things still aren't clear for you. At least Af seems to be staying away for you. I would leave it a few days and then test again. For lots of people pregnancy tests don't show up clear until a while after missed Af. Fx for you.

Hopes nope no dtd last night. I've made him know exactly how I feel today. I'm so annoyed that I had the blood tests which I hate and he can't even be bothered to dtd at the right time. Men Hmm

loopylou1984 · 18/10/2015 14:28

Turd I really have missed you, please pop in now and again to chat. It's been an emotional roller coaster, and I'm terrified that something is going to go wrong again - but some how dh keeps me smiling.

Thanks everyone, yes fx for some witchy Halloween magic combined with some birthday luck (beaut my birthday is a day off of Halloween, any a pumpkin shaped birthday cake in my childhood!) xx

eskimoflo · 18/10/2015 14:28

Lily What a flippin' rollercoaster ride you are having. Keeping everything crossed for you. We're all waiting with baited breath for an update!

Lucie Flowers Again, sending you all the luck in the world.

We need some good news soon, don't we?!!!

Just been out for some lunch with friends. We went to a garden centre café. They had the Christmas shop open and we had a wander round. I tried not to absorb any festive spirit. We need to get Halloween over and done with before any Christmas feeling can seep through. Confused

Sooo, it's clomid o'clock tonight. I think that my LP was around 16 / 17 days, but I'm not sure when I ov'd, as I didn't use opks this time round. I had been hoping to ov during half term, to be able to DTD more often, but I think it'll be a couple of days later now. Might just catch the end of half term as I think CD15 will be Halloween, so we might be cycle buddies Sammy Grin

I'd better prepare for the night sweats and mood swings now hadn't I? Hmm
