How is everyone doing today?
Just re-marking my place as I had list you all! Xx

eskimoflo · 30/09/2015 17:47

Possibly, DizzyN, possibly. I don't think it is thrush now... I think I'm just a bit sore. It might be the change in hormones from the clomid though. I just don't know! Confused

WineSpider · 30/09/2015 20:18

So we saw the doctor today after some tests. We know we wouldn't get seen on the NHS so paid for it, but hoping to be referred for some follow up treatment.

AMH level is 9.8 which is pretty low for my age (33)
Progesterone 7 dpo was 32.9 which is a bit borderline
Ultrasound scan was more positive

Luckily DH's sperm test came back with glowing results which he is very chuffed about!

Doctor has suggested a hysteroscopy to check for scarring (I had a D&C for retained placenta after DD was born) then Clomid - I seem to be ovulating but it's possible that there are not enough of the right hormones to support implantation, with short luteal cycle and spotting for about 5/6 days before AF.

I was kind of expecting to be told all was OK and we were just being impatient, and while he said that the results were all fine and nothing major to worry about I am feeling even more depressed than before.

Sorry that is so long and boring, just wondered if anyone has had these kind of results too? Thanks.

Pixa · 30/09/2015 23:30

No advice for your results Wine, but just a word or warning. If you pay for tests/private consultations, then depending on your CCG's policy, you may not be entitled for fertility treatment funding. It's a right nightmare! X

BabyBumpHopeful · 01/10/2015 02:46

Hi all :) Just checking in after a bit of a long hiatus. Still TTC but more NTNP than actively TTC.

CD31 today. AF/BFP due Oct 3 (CD34) if FF is to believed... more likely tomorrow though (CD32). Nothing dramatic to add otherwise!

Hope everyone else is doing well :)

DizzyNorthernBird · 01/10/2015 08:35

Morning!

Fx for you baby! No news is good news.....

Nothing to report here! 7dpo. Slight temp dip this morning (normal), mildly tender boobs and nipples (not unheard of) and the odd things and cramp in my uterus (normal)!! So an uneventful tww so far! Af is due a week on Saturday so I've got ages to wait yet. Luckily I've got a busy long weekend lined up to take my mind off things (which includes meeting up with a newly preggo friend who wasn't ttc and didn't want children Hmm )

Hope everyone else is well. Happy October! I turn 36 this month! Confused Grin

DizzyNorthernBird · 01/10/2015 08:44

Hope you're starting to feel better eskimo, sounds nasty but hopefully it's a sign some changes are going on.....did I read somewhere dryness is a side effect of clomid? Hopefully it's all normal.

wine on a positive note at least your DP's results were good, which means the ball is in your court for treatment/supplements or Meds to enhance where your levels are on the low side.......personally for me, if it were the other way around I wouldn't be able to trust my DP to actually take the pills etc being a bloke with much more important blokey stuff to be doing than worrying about ttc!! Plus from what I've learned on here, the low prog/low amh levels are easily rectified. Hang on in there, you're en route to your bfp!

Hairstylisttoboris · 01/10/2015 09:50

Waves to pixa and eskimo chin up lass.

My body continues to play tricks on me. 5 dpo of my no fucking hope cycle I get light bright red spotting. Now I have psychosematic Cramping. Mean body, teasing me.

DizzyNorthernBird · 01/10/2015 10:20

boris how do you know you are 5dpo....is it not just more likely to be ovulation spotting?

Hairstylisttoboris · 01/10/2015 11:06

dizzyn I had OV spotting 6 days ago which would put me at 6dpo as I seem to now get heavy spotting the day before I ov. I'll do an opk tonight to confirm. We did see each other to dtd at 1dpo but that's too late to get pregnant judging by the scientific research I've read. Not that I'm obsessed at all.

DizzyNorthernBird · 01/10/2015 11:37

Unless the scientific research is wrong and it's an implantation bleed Wink

Hairstylisttoboris · 01/10/2015 12:10

Agh don't dizzyn the last few months different symptons have got me ridiculously over excited and nada. This month we've only dtd twice at cd 6 abd 8 days later at 1 dpo. I keep reminding myself that shirt if a miracle this isn't happening for me this month.

Mummyofonesofar · 01/10/2015 13:44

Sorry for AF Nomio & Kir

Wine sorry about your results, great news about DH’s though, hopefully the hysteroscopy is more positive and they can do something about your prog anyway – you will be well on your way to your baby soon.

Boris 1dpo DTD can get you pg – that egg can hand around for a while – and DPs swimmers may have been extra energetic! Fx for you Smile

flymo79 · 01/10/2015 15:10

argh, yeah I'm sure hoping 1dpo is ok too! ... I def conceived #1 after having the +ve opk, we kept dtd a few days because of the surge/uncertainty, but I wasn't temping then so I guess opk wasn't very precise

loopylou1984 · 01/10/2015 19:42

Boris, I'm keeping everything crossed for you. When is test day? X

Rainy34 · 01/10/2015 19:53

Winespider sorry it was not the results that you wanted but , you are in such a good positon , hopefully they will give you the right treatment, I'm sure that you will need progesterone which is maybe the hormone that you are lacking and you will get your baby so soon,

Hairstylisttoboris · 02/10/2015 07:23

sammy testing Thursday...

Kirjava · 02/10/2015 07:52

boris fx for you!

Moomin37 · 03/10/2015 06:47

Well I'm sat in my ensuite waiting for a BFN. It's day 35 and no BFP and no AF means onto the Menopur injectionsSadHow did it get to this? All those people who were upduffed after a lap and dye or had Clomid babies. Oh no, not me, I couldn't possibly be like everyone else. Oh well, nothing I can do apart from take a deep breath and be grateful for everyone and everything I do have in my life, including you fabulous lot! My CM yesterday has had a brown tinge - not had that before. I don't feel pregnant and don't feel like AF is about to arrive either, although I had a random cry last night Hmm

loopylou1984 · 03/10/2015 08:11

Oh moomin - it's so hard. I found the af before starting injections the worst, your last hope has gone. I promise you that once you get going with the cycle you will feel better.

I basically cried my way through my baseline scan and medication instructions, but once home and started I felt like 'at least I'm doing something!' And it was easier.

If you want to know anything, please feel free to ask. Xx

Hairstylisttoboris · 03/10/2015 08:56

moomin hugs to you. It's tough. As sammy says once the next intervention starts things will be looking better. X

loopylou1984 · 03/10/2015 08:58

Boris - any news from you?
Symptoms?? Xx

Moomin37 · 03/10/2015 09:04

Thank you so much Sammy and Hair Smile Where are you up to with your injections Sammy? I'm OK ish with the thought of them (watched some YouTube videos), it's the pesseries (sp?) that I'm not so keen on Shock

lilygirl81 · 03/10/2015 09:40

Going mad here, on day 7 of a flashing smiley face on my opk, not sure how much longer do and I can keep this rate of dtd up for! We have gone from 4 times a month to 4 or 5 times a week. I'm day 15 of cycle, normally do ova around day 14, though it was later last month.

We down at my parents this weekend, may go celeb spotting in St Andrews since there are loads around for a golf comp Smile

DizzyNorthernBird · 03/10/2015 10:14

Flowers moomin. However, your wait is over and your treatment starts here! Your bfp isn't far away now! Treat yourself to a big Wine this weekend, have a good cry, and then it's onwards and upwards for you lady! X

lily maybe ov is late for some reason this month? Hang on in there. For what it's worth, I quit using opks the month where I got really really stressed about them and I was panicking about drinking too much water in case it was affecting the results.....I ended up ovulating on cd31 because of the stress and completely missed the egg. For me they are more of a hindrance than a benefit!

Nothing to report here! 9dpo, no symptoms out of the ordinary. Boobs are tender underneath, like it hurts to touch the area around my sternum but I think this is something to do with my Pilates workout on Thursday! Tww is doing my head in now, roll on next weekend for af/testing but I've stopped getting my hopes up now and am expecting af yet again. Ugh.
