Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

We are symptoms spotters extrodinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

themoo · 24/09/2015 21:08

Walking like john Wayne with wet swimming trunks are we prty lol

magnificatAnimaMea · 24/09/2015 21:14

I had to email him with title "check your phone you great plonker" to get his attention. He did. He was pleased. Grin
Not getting hopes up yet - according to the calculators it's only 4 weeks and of course much can go wrong from here on. Still - it's useful being able to justify hours on Mumsnet because I'm working out what the i'm meant to be doing! Grin

Hope the pizza's good themoo Smile Keep in mind that my first post on here was me thinking I was just stuck in luteal phase for ever - had no symptoms whatsoever, and had already tested the day AF was due and got a negative - so you don't have a definitive "no" until you get AF.

Thankyou to everyone, and good luck. Fingers crossed for everyone! Flowers

Stripes1983 · 24/09/2015 21:27

Aww sorry moo that's really annoying ! Fx though that it changes again on sat ! youandme tell me about it, it's like the minute you can be pregnant your body thinks I'm just going to mess with your head !

Stripes1983 · 24/09/2015 21:30

Haha prty it's for the greater good - sounds like you have been well and truly basted !Wink

PrtyPsn · 24/09/2015 21:35

Hmmm that's a puzzler then moo lets see what GBPO brings!
And yes, basted to the extreme haha! So between us we've got John Wayne and Les Dawson... what a sexy bunch we are!!!

Talking of DTD preparing for when DH is back from China...are you guys DTD every day, every other day, every few days..... have heard different views on what is best

PrtyPsn · 25/09/2015 07:03

We normally aim for every other but with varying results depending on work, commitments and tiredness haha! Since the possible chemical though we have been doing every day, however if it wasnt chemical and just some random test results followed by ranf spotting then I'm fertile now, if it was chemical then I'm fertile 1st week of Oct so not sure we are gonna manage every day right until 7th Oct!

Oh, no, wait....she's here Angry

Sorry girls, one less for TGBPO. If you need me, just follow the sound of crinkling wrappers and muffled sobs.

PrtyPsn · 25/09/2015 07:17

Oh no aindy :( not the Friday feeling you were looking for at all, my lovely (hands over a slab of Dairy Milk big enough to kill a grown man with one blow)

graciously accepts new weapon and hunts down nearest man feasts like there's no tomorrow

Thanks Prty, woke up this morning (after a shitty night of no sleep, thanks to this cold) and I just 'knew'. Mostly because my boobs completely stopped being painful.

Don't know what I was expecting really, after missing my fertile window. TTC makes you crazy hopeful though, doesn't it?!

PrtyPsn · 25/09/2015 07:54

TTC isn't an exact science though, our bodies are weird and wonderful and can surprise us! You have to hope otherwise what's the point? Onwards to the next cycle, my love x

Hugs aindy throws freshly baked(still warm) banana muffins in your direction

Fx moo Try again tomorrow for the TGBPO.

I'm feeling pretty queezy this morning. Couldn't stand the milk in my cereal or drink my cup of tea Shock really not like me, hopefully a good sign but trying not to get my hopes up prior to TGBPO!

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 25/09/2015 08:15

As expected, my spotting is now full on AF, so I'm out.

Who is left in for TGBPO now? Fingers crossed for you all!

MrsKittenPie · 25/09/2015 08:24

Morning! Sorry I missed all the chatter yesterday - had a big work thing on, so logged on this morning and had loads to catch up on!
Sorry for af aindy and youandme - she's a bitch.
moo - you're still in lovely, fingers crossed.
sunny - sounds promising!!
prty - loving the mental image of the John Wayne walk!!
TGBPO sounds good - who's in for it again? I'll join you but not expecting anything as no idea what cycle day I am on still Confused. I should have a delivery of Internet cheapies today so can resume my obsession with poas!!!

MummyBex1985 · 25/09/2015 08:46

Sorry to hear about the two AFs ladies. Enjoy a glass of wine or two this weekend.

LittleAindy · 25/09/2015 09:43

slides the remainder of the man sized Cadbury's over to youandme, shoves an entire muffin into gob, like a toddler let loose with Milky buttons

Thanks ladies, I'm getting desensitised to it now and no longer transform into an emotional nuclear bomb when she appears. ( starts salivating at 9.30am at the thought of cracking open a bottle this weekend )

I could practically hear OH's internal woop for joy after I told him the witch had arrived this morning, so I'm not holding out any hope for this cycle either, after our row on Sunday. I will stick around though as this thread is my daily dose of entertainment!

Good luck to the remaining GBPOers tomorrow!

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 25/09/2015 11:04

I'll take your mansize Cadbury bar Aindy and raise you a giant hot chocolate and a kit kat, both actually just consumed by me from office canteen.

I hate being at work for the first day of AF - it's always the painful day.

hippybird · 25/09/2015 11:43

Hello all! (formerly ellamorella) Just checking in to show you all my new name! I decided to change it, as it wasn't the most subtle of names to use. So this is my new name. I've got shed loads of work to do today, so no time for a proper update. But just to say I'll be glued to my screen on Sat for TGBPO, and sorry Aindy and any others with AF or BFNs!

PrtyPsn · 25/09/2015 12:47

Hahaha bit late for a secret identity now hippy we all know you wrote the book pahahaha
aindy I'm sorry things still aren't great with you and OH, maybe he will have time to reflect and change x

Pirsy1 · 25/09/2015 16:38

Aindy, I'm sorry you're having a a bad time at home. I don't think men understand how emotionally draining TTC is for us and that we think about it constantly! I hope you're going to do something nice for yourself this weekend.

I'll be waiting for the results of the GBPO tomorrow! Fingers crossed for a BFP.

I think I'm mid luteal phase now. Feeling very tired and emotional. Don't think this is my month but you can't help getting your hopes up a little bit every cycle.

Stripes1983 · 25/09/2015 17:18

Hey Ladies, so sorry to hear of AF arrivals (toses bag of giant caramel buttons onto choc heap) I was supposed to pick up a HPT on way home but then forgot in the supermarket , went to local chemist but card machine wasn't working so now I feel like maybe it's a sign that I shouldn't bother tomorrow ?!

PrtyPsn · 25/09/2015 17:30

(snatches up Caramel Buttons) sorry for the greed folks but it dawned on me that I'm possibly entering a 4 week wait... if it was chemical then when AF is due (in two weeks) then it's my fertile window so another TWW after that! Waahhh!!!
stripes I say go with your gut, I believe in signs and fate and stuff so if yue universe is making you think no then don't :)

OP posts:
Stripes1983 · 25/09/2015 17:51

Thanks prty I think I might bow out of the GBPO tomorrow then sorry ladies but keeping everything crossed for those still in it ! I. do feel like I ovulated lasted again this month too which is making me think testing would be a waste of money and energy at the min! And you deserve the buttons prty !:)

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 25/09/2015 18:38

I'm fed up. This period is being weird - I use a mooncup, and it was appropriately full at lunchtime, but since then I've had hardly any bleeding. I'm really sick of these stoppy starty periods I seem to have suddenly been getting!
