Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

 1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
 2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
 3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
 4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
 5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory, who wouldn't?)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Haha Feathered that is too funny. Do you shop at a very judgemental supermarket or is it just in your dirty mind?!
Bollocks to the witch Chat, enjoy your Wine

coribeth · 10/09/2015 22:25

just test! we all would!
chat sorry to hear about af
I currently have viral tonsilitis which means feeling pretty grim but reading the cucumber story has really cheered me up feathered having visions of you skulking around the fruit and veg in Mac and sunglasses!

SecondCupOfTea · 11/09/2015 07:23

lil we have about 4 due every month from now til Feb...then 8 due in March!

And from FB updates, it seems that Mountain is in the process of producing her little molehill, so bunting and pompoms at the ready Grin

bellybuttonfluffy · 11/09/2015 07:48

Loving the cucumber story feathered. It's not something i would ever need to worry about, as popping to the shops for me involves buying everything, I can't just get the one thing.

Poor furbaby Walt has an eye infection Sad. He's okay in himself, but his little eye is all goopy and he's on some drops.

Hope theres some POAS action today with some BFPs to go with it! got everything crossed Just!!

IT'S FRIDAY!!

bellybuttonfluffy · 11/09/2015 07:54

Lots of grad babies this month! Gx for Mountain and her little molehill.

lil is all this percentage talk about your injections? I must have missed a post somewhere, as all I caught was 95% is good and 99%. I have all the intentions in the world of going back to slimming world... next week i think. I am finishing off the last in the box of my favourite breakfast cereal (Just Right anyone?) and it's a dirty 10 syns (or something) per bowl. It's a muesli ffs, I count that as healthy!!

lildottie · 11/09/2015 11:06

Breakfast cereal is notorious for being of crap crap and more crap fluffy. Better having fruit and yoghurt (Greek for high protein, good for cell growth and therefore fertility) or scrambled egg with some vegies or smoked salmon (or both), or wholemeal banana pancakes with fruit and yoghurt.

Yes percentages were how much of full dose of injection was left in the syringe once I'd finished mixing the meds!

JustMeAndHim · 11/09/2015 11:30

Hope it gets a bit easier Lil it doesn't sound very pleasant.

Belly I love the name Walt!! Hope he's feeling better, poor little might.

Feathered I'm so intrigued about the kind of supermarket you go to where they would think this!! I think it's just your dirty mind!

FeatheredTail · 11/09/2015 16:09

I think I've just got the mind of a 15 year old school boy. puts mac and sunglasses back on

Poor old Walk Fluffy! What a sweet name.

Glad you're getting the hang of the jabs again Lil. Ten more days until (hopefully) egg collection! YAY!

FeatheredTail · 11/09/2015 16:09

*Walt

bellybuttonfluffy · 11/09/2015 16:50

Aww lil why'd you have to go say that? I LOVE breakfast cereal. I could eat it for every meal! I do also have fruit and yoghurt at times too, especially blueberries YUM! The injections must be tough, I don't think I could do it myself.

bellybuttonfluffy · 11/09/2015 16:51

Shameless 'baby pic' which won't offend us viroids sick of seeing proud parents posting about their 'miracles'.

Aww, he's gorgeous!

JustMeAndHim · 11/09/2015 17:42

I LOVE him!! He's so cute

pretzelpieces · 11/09/2015 17:54

Happy birthday just!

lil so exciting! did you know we've all been talking about our viroid crushes on you over in the grads ConfusedBlush

feathered you perv Wink

bellybuttonfluffy · 11/09/2015 17:55

He really is my little bundle of joy Grin

This ttc business would be impossible without him taking up some of my time. He is my adopted baby!

lildottie · 11/09/2015 18:24

Haha pretzel I didn't but I will certainly have a look later!

Sorry fluffy. I'm a cereal lover too but I read something about how its only really us Brits who eat it and is totally against what our natural diet should be. I try to stick to weetabix or shredded wheat and pimp it up with fruit though atm I'm eating a protein enriched granola! Just try and find ones with low sugar content if you must eat it.
As for injections actually injecting is relatively easy. Drawing up and mixing meds however is a different kettle of fish!

JustMeAndHim · 11/09/2015 18:39

Same here belly. Got two girls and they are my loves

FeatheredTail · 11/09/2015 20:04

Fluffy your pic really brought a year to my eye. Is he a Maltese? He's a beauty. That little face!

Makes my heartache a bit because I love little dogs so much. A few years ago we started looking after a bichon frise belonging to my mums neighbour. This neighbour never walked her, never played with her and admitted she wanted her as a handbag dog but she got "too big and fat".

We ended up having her for weeks at a time and every single weekend. It got to the stage - twice - when the owner wanted to give her to us but her circumstances changed and she kept her. (She was going to get divorced but they decided to stick at it)

The final time she meant it - she was getting divorced and we made it all formal. The bichon would come and live with us and by ours once we were back from honeymoon. Our little bear came to our wedding (and is most of the formal photographs!). When we came back from honeymoon.....the neighbour had decided she couldn't wait for us to get back and had rehomed her elsewhere.

Bare in mind - she and her husband and kids had become friends over this time too. Heartbroken doesn't begin to cover it.

We've thought about getting one since....but we loved that little bichon so much and she knew and loved us back! And now our jobs are too busy to take the plunge on a new and unknown dog Sad

Sorry for the epic post....Walt is such a sweetie and reminds me of our little bear so much!

FeatheredTail · 11/09/2015 20:04

Here she is! Miss her little darling face so much!

bellybuttonfluffy · 11/09/2015 20:10

feathered how awful for you! How dreadful of the neighbours/friends. Did the friendship survive after that? Dogs are a lot of work, but so worth it if the time is there to give to them. We had Walt as a pup, my first pup! Everyone said I would regret it, that I didn't know the work involved. But how can you not fall head over heels and want to give them everything?

Walt is a bichon crossed with a cavalier king charles spaniel. He's bigger than most though.

FeatheredTail · 11/09/2015 20:11

Hope you're having a lovely evening Just! Is this the Michelin star dindins?

FeatheredTail · 11/09/2015 20:20

Fluffy - the friendship didn't survive it, but they moved out of the house next to my mums very shortly afterwards as they got divorced. I have seen the woman once since and could barely look at her.

Roxy (the bichon) was like my little baby - we had looked after her for three years! We miss her so much still, though it's now been two years since we've seen her.

Exactly what you said - so much work but sooooo much love that makes it so easy to do it all! I remember practically running home from the station when we used to look after her because I was so excited she'd be there. Such great stress relief - just pure joy.

hugs *walt<

He must have such a lovely temperament as a cav/bichon cross! The gentle docile cvs side crossed with the nuttier bichon traits!

You're so lucky to have him! Give him an extra snuggle tonight.

MyBlackCat · 11/09/2015 20:23

After all the dog talk I feel I have to get this thread back on track with a picture of my little black cat Grin

bellybuttonfluffy · 11/09/2015 20:40

Love to Roxy Feathered. I hope she ended up in a good home, it's just heartbreaking that you had such a shitty friend who obviously didn't value her sweet dog.
Walt is such a sweet dog. I am so unbelievably lucky to have him!

That is one gorgeous looking little lady Myblackcat what's her name?

FeatheredTail · 11/09/2015 21:18

The only good thing to come out of it is that Roxy is now in a brilliant home and they love her/worship her - which makes me happy.

blackcat - lovely! Look at that languishing silky little queen! Love her!
