Waiting to try, and cycle a mess from the pill

Just wondering if there are any other lurkers in the same boat as me, planning to TTC in December/January?

I came off the pill three months ago and have only had one pathetic AF in that time, so very glad I came off early but also pretty anxious at how messed up things are, 1st cycle was 39 days, this one is 40 and courting.

So who's with me? I can't be the only person on here who is actually hoping for AF!

What are Vogel drops first? Hopefully you missing the doses won't affect anything.

When did you come off the pill? I am now on CD 49! I am getting increasingly frustrated haha

Sorry to hear about the bfn Loula! Wait a few days then take another? At least you have your doctor's appointment booked in & being organised about it all! I got my Agnus Castus off amazon (I know j perhaps shouldn't have done this but it was a trusted seller with good reviews!) CD 10 for me and no CM or sign of ov on the horizon. Really hoping I ov next week but it's not looking likely at the moment!

I'm not sure if I'll bother with taking another, I might just wait till my docs appointment as I don't want to waste loads of money on tests!

I have had AF type signs this week like headache etc but nothing so far.

Loula - gutted for you. It's such a horrible feeling not knowing what your body is doing 😞 I never use agnus castus I was quite lucky I came on my period 4 weeks after taking the pill. Fx something happens soon!

I'm breaking out in horrible spots and think I have a bit of impetigo on my chin. I feel proper run down think it's the pill still coming out of my system. Xxx

Hi all. Sorry il catch up properly after the weekend... But I knew I would ovulate while I'm away for the weekend without hubby!! Couldn't Dtd yesterday or today. Hopefully the egg is slow to Pop and can Dtd tomorrow and catch it! Sod's law! Haha. Catch up properly tomorrow. Hope everyone is ok. X

Chapman, I get really awful spots on my chin to. It's so frustrating as I never used to get spots up until about 2 years ago. I use Zineryt antibiotic roll on gel that the doctor prescribed for me and it works amazing! I still get it prescribed to me but barely use it now as spots have all but gone.

I'm on CD 11 & also struggling temp wise. I think I misread my Friday temp (tried to read in the dark) and it completely spiked on my chart! Kindara says my fertile window should start next Saturday. Been doing OPKs since yesterday but obviously negative!

Loula I take 1 tablet a day of Agnus Castus, though it says you can take up to 2. The dosage is 1000mg! Seems quite high but think it's the norm! Not experienced any side effects and have been taking it since November xx

Hi first yesterday was cd18. So much better than previous months. I think il have a 29 day cycle this month as my luteal phase is really short. Iv felt more chilled out this month, I think knowing my pcos bloods were normal has just made me feel less worried about the crazy cycles, and Iv been doing some hippy dippy fertility meditation which I feel has chilled me out a bit. Don't know if that helped. Iv not taken any supplements this month as I wanted bloods to be accurate. I'm sorry yours are still negative, I know you have had a really long frustrating wait! Are you going o go to GP? Even if they just do pcos bloods to put your mind at rest.

Cookie and Chapman, I have had really awful acne since stopping the pill, proper cystic greasy sore spots and it's all over my forehead, chin, down sides of face, nothing Iv had really helps but I might ask GP about that medication.

Loula belle, sorry you are having a long wait as well. I find the temping really helps but the opks definitely work better in terms of telling you fertile window coming up, because temps only confirm fertile window after three high temps.. By which time fertile window has closed.

Opk is loads loads darker today, came up immediately with 1st morning wee, confirms that for me timing of opk doesn't really matter, if it's positive it positive! Hopefully egg will Pop today and we can catch it later.

sunny got a phone consultation booked im which I aim to ask for bloods at the beginning of my next cycle. My shortest cycke was my first. Beginning to think I should have omly stopped it when I wad actually ready ttc and nof a couple of months early. Missed my best cycles

sunny that is so dark. The levels oh LH go up loads in the blood during the surge though so it is not surprising really. Cd18 is great!

Wow congrats on your positive opk sunny. Hopefully you will catch it in time.

Maybe it is worth me buying cheap OPK's then, but how will I know when to test seeing as I am having no period? Or is it literally a case of testing everyday to see?

Well I did another cheapy OPK about half an hour ago (I know I shouldn't really do one in the morning) and it's surprisingly came up with quite darkish lines. Not positive at all but it's went from completely no line yesterday to darkish lines today. Will try again in a few hours and start my CB OPKs tomorrow if lines are still dark. Feeling hopeful my ov might be sooner this month! Xx

Sunny happy to help if I can, assuming your therm is degrees C then you are looking for a temp rise of at least 0.15-0.2 higher that should then stay high for 3 days to confirm you have ovulated. I would suggest if you've only just got your positive OPK that one of your readings over the past 2 days was a false reading (as 1 whole degree apart is a lot!) but don't worry too much, just keep going over the next few days looking out for the temp rise that stays high - just keep DTD until you get it you may not have missed out! Mine was really slow this month to pop!

loula I have been doing daily opks since cd10! On cd31 today and no ovulation yet. I used them in my 77 day cycle too and managed to detect LH surge at cd62 and 63

I've tested using a opk today and it's got the second line I know this is still negative but shows I've got the LH surge which I didn't compared to the one I took on Friday!!
Thanks for the advice sunny, cookie and loula again today I've woke up with another spot haha I've just covered myself in sudocrem! Fingers crossed this is my body getting rid of toxins and preparing me for a baby haha! Going to test my ov again later on to see if the line darkens!

Loula yeah I would just do one a day of I were you. It's frustrating but they only take a few seconds. And you can get 50 for £7 on Amazon so it's not too expensive to do one a day from like cycle day 10ish onwards.

Chapman that's good. hopefully it will get darker over next few days. I had no lines on my first 3 or 4 this cycle and then had faint lines for the last week or more, so even if it doesn't peak straight away just keep going.

Yvonne it's just a free one on you tube. I listened to a few weird ones but I like a 7 minute fertility shakra one.. It's only short but makes me pause from a busy day for a few minutes and centres me (if that doesn't sound too stupid!). I like doing it before I go to sleep, makes me go to sleep really quickly.

My opk is still just as dark this afternoon! I recon eggy will pop tomorrow. Going to try to Dtd today and tomorrow. Xx

It is so weirdly satisfying looking at everyone's opks! I'm addicted to peeing on sticks! And looking at other people wee sticks! (Bloody weirdo! I know) can't wait til we get some bfps on here. I always check the main board every day for the "is this a line" threads! Love it. X

OPK advice please does it mean anything if the control line is really faint? First time I've tested today and only one really faint line showed up? X
