Waiting to try, and cycle a mess from the pill

Just wondering if there are any other lurkers in the same boat as me, planning to TTC in December/January?

I came off the pill three months ago and have only had one pathetic AF in that time, so very glad I came off early but also pretty anxious at how messed up things are, 1st cycle was 39 days, this one is 40 and courting.

So who's with me? I can't be the only person on here who is actually hoping for AF!

Well I'm feeling a bit down today as it seems AF has made an unexpected & early arrival Sad was hoping it could just be IB but not sure how heavy/light it's meant to be? Def not as heavy as my AF usually is so I'm still holding out hope!! Don't understand why I got my positive opk last sat and now AF (if it is AF) just one week later. Feeling a bit blah! SadSad xx

Thanks GX. In agony with a UTI today so guess it good that we aren't trying as it's not wise with a UTI and I really don't fancy it anyway!xx

Morning ladies! How are we all? Sorry I've been quiet the past couple of days I've been in London visiting my Nanna she wasn't well. Currently on the train back scoffing Doritos and minstrels! My diet since ttc has been horrific thinking I can eat what I want! Going to try and correct some of the damage this week and next week before New York as il just put on further weight over there haha! Bit of an update - no symptoms for pregnancy nor AF not due on til Wednesday anyway but hoping for the best! Only thing is I'm always hungry! Did a test Friday and Saturday and both bfn. Not getting to disheartened will just have to test on Wednesday!

Sunny - I feel so sorry for you working all them hours! Fx it flys over for you and you don't work too hard you deserve a break and some luck! Hopefully with you being busy at work this period will fly and you could be bfp by Jan!

Cookie - any symptoms I've had absolute nada it's so annoying! When are u testin??

New girl - keep at it with opk sticks fx for you for the new year would be lovely!

Poin - I'm so sorry about that! But I suppose you did the right thing by not mentioning it I don't know what your oh is like but mine probably would of got mad if I kept asking questions then again I'm straight to the point so would of said excuse me!? Fx he lightens up for you soon xx

Gx91 - tested yday and Friday both bfn so will wait til Wednesday like a good girl.. Don't think I am but have always got hope!!

First go- when are u due to test? Wish I had a busy 2ww it's dragged for me!

Was Thursday the 10th December or the 3rd? I stopped taking my pill start of November had a bleed and it lasted 4 days and I haven't had anything since! Xx

When I stopped the mini pill I got a bleed straight away was only on it 2 months and it's was light brownish color and now it's gone heavy like a normal MP ? It comes and stops and when It stop I'm TTC was wondering when I will conceive really wanna be pregnant for the new year ?

Shan Kate - sorry post posted before I finished. So are you still on your period now is it heavy or comes and goes? It will probably be your body trying to get back to normal. Have you bought any ovulation kits/strips or got any apps you can use on your phone to track when you will ovulate? X

Yeah the first week it was very light was Bearly anything at all? Now it's got heavy since last night I taught it could have been a withdrawal bleed and now I have my MP? I'm confused as a few weeks b4 I stopped I had spotting for a few days?

It changes aswel could be light for a day or 2 and then goes heavy cud stop then be back the next day it's really weird ?

Shankate - I actually have no idea haha! If it's the case where you don't stop bleeding and it goes on for a bit longer id suggest seeing your doctor if not just use your apps and intuition and the opk sticks. Tbh some of the other girls might know more xx

Wow lots to catch up on today!

Welcome new peeps! pigeon good idea getting healthy before ttc! Remember to start your folic acid 3 months before ttc. Gives you time to get any tests done if need be before. I'm still awaiting an appointment for genetics testing (family history of severe geneti disorder) got referred end of September, 1st appt in January... These things take time!

Hi kate I would say it's just withdrawel from pill. Although see GP if you are worried.

chapman was the discharge sticky and stretchy like thick egg white? Or different discharge? I get confused about the discharge tracking. Ovia says "school glue" what even is that? I seem to either have egg white (but it's not completely clear) or creamy/milky and that's it! Not at the times it always said I should anyway!

first frers can give you positive results from as early as 8dpo! You might be able to test before Xmas but don't be disappointed if it's neg, you might just need to wait a bit longer. What do you do for work?

I'm 6 days into my 10 day stretch at work, and only got called out for 2 hours on call last night so that's a bonus! Going to have a big glass of wine tonight! 4 days to go and then it's my weekend :) xx

Welcome new ladies! Hope we're all well. I think hope for imp bleeding is fading fast, spotting has become slightly heavier so it def looks like AF Sad still not quite as heavy as AF yet but not as light as what IB should be. I really do feel gutted! 1st month of TTC and I can now completely empathise with the ladies who go through this month by month.
Chapman, your CM sounds promising! Keeping my fx and sprinkling baby dust on you! Hope you're UTI clears up soon Poin, it's v painful! Sunny, I think I'll join you with that glass of wine tonight. In fact, gimmie the full bottle please!! Grin xx

Sunny - it was proper sticky defo like school glue the pritt stick you used to get! Il have a look what that means on my ovia app! Otherwise no symptoms at all! That's good news about work roll on xmas! Wine
