Welcome to the thread for TTCers who track too much, spot to much and use most of our expendable income in Internet Cheapies.

Cycle 5 or 55 we don't care this is a place for your hopeful twaddle and necessary pre-conception ranting.

Thanks Fuba and FattyFishwife! And good advice Lod! I'm a terrible worrier but I'm trying not to because you can't really do much can you.

Chelle, thanks! Yeah, I see what you mean! I have to say, the clearblue one was really nice because it just says pregnant or not!

Mrs PCR, looks like a line to me! Congratulations! I think this group is good luck!

Achm · 15/07/2015 07:02

soontobemrslizzy · 15/07/2015 11:18

Sorry, here's my stats.
Age 27
TTC number 1
Bfp 14/7/15
Edd 26 or 28 March 2016

Rickalicious · 15/07/2015 11:55

Thank you, i'm still in shock! DP wants the test line to be the same colour as the control line before he believes me.... idiot :-p

NHS calculator based on my LMP gives a due date of 14 March 2016, but as I ovulated 9 days later than the norm I think it will be adjusted to 23 march at a dating scan.

Now I have to come to terms that there is no point in a Nappa Valley tour on our honeymoon, ha!

chelle792 · 15/07/2015 12:26

When's the wedding rik? I'm going to be 21 weeks at our wedding and we were planning Peru. Cottage in the Norfolk broads now with the dog, I think

MrsPCR · 15/07/2015 12:37

How exciting and weddings too! This is a v lucky thread. The only reason I decided I wouldn't post last night was I was convinced i wasn't after a BFN 12dpo and was jealous of all the BFP on the thread. Looks like we've all probably got due dates of around 23/3/16. How weird is that. What was so special about the time around 1st July? (which is when I ov'd). Something in the water??

Rickalicious · 15/07/2015 12:44

A cottage sounds lovely! Some lovely walking with the pup or snuggling days and nights in if the weather is crap.

Our wedding is a week on Saturday, the 25th July. Go on honeymoon the 27th for 2.5 weeks to Vegas and California so i'll be 10 weeks (8.5 really) when we get back... the scan would be in no time after that so the honeymoon is a good distraction! We have booked a Grand Canyon helicopter ride and kayaking tour along the coast but am sure it's fine to still do those.

Some of my friends were shocked we were going to try before the wedding as i'd have to stay sober at the wedding and honeymoon..... I'd much prefer my baby :-)

Fuba · 15/07/2015 13:40

Congratulations everyone lots of BFP's ... I have some FR tests waiting for me ... I am waiting until Friday to test... Fingers crossed for lots more BFP's Grin

FattyFishwife · 15/07/2015 14:01

haha, i did 2 internet cheapies yesterday (different sellers/different brands - not that they have a brand but they were different colours!!) and a FRER this morning with FMU.....all 3 BFNs...im currently 10dpo

im uber emotional with AF being due on sunday, plus my dad would have been 75 today (he died when he was 53 from MRSA, just after his first grand child was born) and it always brings it home to me that my kids have never had a grandad :(

plus I have a job interview tomorrow for my first paid job in almost 15 years, and im wondering am i doing the right thing...and...blah blah blah

i need a good kick up the 'arris...anyone wanna do the honours!!

sorry for the rant....

steps down of the me soapbox

congrats on the BFP's rick and MrsP, its all very exciting in here, and quite uplifting!

MrsPCR · 15/07/2015 14:24

Fingers cross Fattyfish. I got a bfn 12dpo if that gives you some hope. I had no symptoms this month either this month other than tiredness but I'm a tired person so for me it wasn't a symptom, just a sign end of term is near. I'm so glad that by the time I go back to work inseptember I'll be almost 11 weeks. At the moment I have no idea how I'll keep this to myself for 8 weeks!!

Glad I'm off on holiday on Saturday for 2 and half weeks as don't want to tell the parents just yet but don't know how I'll be able to see them and not say. When do others plan to tell parents/in laws? My MIL is going to be over the moon and back. More excited about telling her than my mum!

I hate this time of year as well. We are weeks off of 5 years since my dad passed away and I can't even think about that right now or I will cry. Looking forward to telling him first when I go to his grave on Friday. You have every right to be emotional anyways and now you're in the middle of the 2ww!!

There is still hope! My chart had a probable implantation dip 11 dpo so no wonder it was a bfn 12dpo. Keeping everything crossed for you. It's a lucky thread remember!

Rickalicious · 15/07/2015 14:45

Planning to tell our parents at the weekend.

My sister knows already as she knows all about us TTC this month and we work together so see each other every day, she is 20 weeks so its really exciting our babies will only be 4 months apart!

I'm going to have to tell my 3 best friends next Fri as they are spending the night with me at the venue before the wedding.... I never turn down a drink so it'll be blooming obvious!

It is early for them all to know but if anything happens I would tell them anyway as would want their support.

MrsPCR · 15/07/2015 14:56

My best friends is 23 weeks so I'm excited about our babies being 5 months apart. I will break and tell her when we are back from holiday so 7/8 weeks, which is when she broke and told me! So it's only fair to return the favour! Good luck with the wedding next week!

LastOneDancing · 15/07/2015 19:13

Ah it's great when you have a good friend who's pregnant at the same time. You can cry together text each other at 3 am and meet at each others houses in your pajamas

My friend has a DS a week older than LLOD and she's about 25 weeks now with her second I think? So shes my test pilot for how it all works with 2!

Thanks Mrs P, your words are much appreciated Flowers xxx

soontobemrslizzy · 16/07/2015 07:05

I'm freaking myself out a bit - had a dream that I wasn't pregnant anymore, took another ic and clearblue just not. The clearblue says pregnant 1-2, but the ic is still really faint. My period was supposed to come today so maybe my ics aren't as sensitive as they say? Or should I be worried?

soontobemrslizzy · 16/07/2015 07:18

It's actually a tiny bit lighter than yesterday's ic, although that was in the afternoon and this is the first positive one I've done in the morning that is positive - when I got the bfp I'd got a negative the previous morning and waited until afternoon, so I think my fmu might be very dilute. Sorry, so worried which is probably not reasonable!

MrsPCR · 16/07/2015 07:55

PUT THE PISSY STICKS DOWN. You have your BFP! At least you've used a CB! I'm too scared to use anything less sensitive than 10ml! I have some 25ml for tomorrow for when AF is late. (As you can see I can give the advice but can't take it!). Yesterday's FMU was a normal yellow colour but this one was a lot darker. (Too dark, I need to drink more) and my BFP was barely darker. I thought darker wee would mean less dilute.

I'm suggest you give it 48hrs before you test but at least have the intention not to to try and relax a bit. (I will be there tomorrow morning bricking it with my 25ml!).

chelle792 · 16/07/2015 08:17

lizzy, sweetheart, you need to calm down. Baby is there now. Baby has an incredible instinct for life and it knows what to do. Worrying is normal (lots of work with my therapist about this). Everyone worries. It's your job now to look after yourself and let baby do the rest.

By the way - I just had a massive crazy lady breakdown in the park and ended up sat against a tree in floods of sobbing tears and then puked into a bush. Dog wasn't bothered, OH looked scared witless Wink not my finest hour

soontobemrslizzy · 16/07/2015 08:31

OK thanks ladies. I'm really bad for worrying too much, you're right, I need to just chill out (never been good at that!). I will try to hold off any more testing for a bit (doc said to date it with the clearblue one in two weeks). I just shouldn't read things online - too many horror stores of lines getting fainter until they disappear entirely!

Thank you for sorting me out!

Rickalicious · 16/07/2015 09:33

Lizzy i'm worrying too, although there is no reason for either of us to think we aren't actually pregnant, the signs are all there, it's crazy.

I have a clearblue digi with the indicator and am scared to use it as have only used FRERs on the 2 times i've POAS and they are supposed to be the most sensitive ones, am worried it wont show up on the clearblue. It's reassuring that you have a positive on the clearblue.

How many dpo are you? i'm 14 today and i'm guess that the claims on the test are all based on people having perfect 28 day cycles and ovulating on CD14, and it says you can test up to 4 days early...... but i'm worrying my HCG levels wont be as high as the average so won't show. Have no reason to think that, i'm just a crazy lady!

LastOneDancing · 16/07/2015 09:52

Please take a moment to study this highly scientific and unfortunately accurate timeline of pregnancy.
Note the first three months of 'fear'- this is perfectly normal but will pass off a bit chelle you are already tasting the third stage by puking in a bush.

And I did my first ever CB today and I was a bit nervous too.

It makes a right meal of things blinking away for ages before giving the result Confused.

AF was due today or yesterday.
