Reinstating the gin deck from a previous bus for AF arrivals, and stocking up on pineapple juice and Brazil nuts, fx for lots of BFPs this month.

I know, I've been really good until yesterday, I'm just struggling at the moment because I'm uncomfortable and feel slightly nauseous all the time. The thought of anything more than toast or cereal isn't going down well. :(. X

I couldn't live anywhere that didn't have a Dominos! I love their pizza & the garlic & herb dip.

Dizzy, I would say that is pretty positive. CoC time!

Nomio230 · 14/07/2015 15:12

Don't stress too much, Sammy. If you feel nauseous, I am sure it won't hurt you to not eat much for a couple of days. Could you manage a cheese omelette? Lots of protein.

Mummyofonesofar · 14/07/2015 15:52

sammy just eat what you can if you're not feeling well. No piont making yourself worse forcefeeding yourself!

Nomio oh my god that dip is amazing !!! How could I forget!

eskimoflo · 14/07/2015 16:09

Sammy! 8 eggs is fab! Wishing you tons of luck for Thursday and really hope you feel better soon.

Nympho Bless you. What an awful experience. Flowers How are you feeling now?

Dominos is so naughty, but soooo good! We got a large pizza each on Saturday night after spending most of the afternoon gardening and tiring ourselves out. We had leftovers again for lunch on Sunday and then I had a slice yesterday and the final slice today, so one large pizza has lasted me four whole days Smile They have also started doing the garlic and herb dip in an extra large tub. Perfect!

I'm still in limbo. The consultants secretary was supposed to call me back yesterday after I asked last Wednesday what to do about starting the clomid again when I don't have periods, but she didn't get back to me, so I called her today and she was in a meeting and they took my number, but she still hasn't called back. Angry I know that they will prescribe me more Norethisterone to have a bleed and I do have a stash upstairs, from a few months ago when my GP gave me more than I needed 'just in case.' This isn't the point! I will start it this week, but I want another supply in reserve too, for next time.

I have worked out on my calendar that, if I start the Norethisterone this Thursday, I will be on CD13 when DH and I have a romantic night at the hotel in which we were married last year. We got a voucher for a room, meal and breakfast and we booked it at the weekend. I really would like CD13 to be this night, but it's a Friday, which means that CD21 would then fall on a Saturday and I'm not sure I'll be able to have blood tests at the hospital on a Saturday. Can anyone help? Do hospitals have Saturday morning clinics where you can get bloods done, or are they like GPs, where you have to do it on either the Friday or the Monday? This is why I need the secretary to call me back!

loopylou1984 · 14/07/2015 16:43

Thanks girls, I've had spaghetti on toast and feeling a bit better now.
Nomio - I wish I liked omelettes, such a quick easy meal, but I'm really not an egg fan.

Eskimo - I might be mistaken, but I think having it on the Friday (day 20) would be ok.

I'm so bored of watch tv :(. Xx

Mummy I'm not really new but here are my stats:
Me 37, dh 52, ds 8
Ttc#2 after 2 mc

Mummyofonesofar · 14/07/2015 17:42

eskimo I would ask as it may need to be done by their clinic but you can have bloods done and processed at the weekend.

ral sorry Blush I did have some time out during my mc so may have missed you joining. Sorry for your losses.

RalucaMorena · 14/07/2015 17:44

It's ok mummy! Hope you feel better! Let's hope we get our babies quickly!

Mummyofonesofar · 14/07/2015 17:46

Oh and wahoo!! Finally nearly there with the opks. Maybe tomorrow I'll get a positive. Don't know whether to do the digi again tomorrow or not bother. Think they are stressing me out this month!

Mummyofonesofar · 14/07/2015 17:48

Ral I am feeling more positive thanks. What cycle number are you on now Hun?

RalucaMorena · 14/07/2015 17:51

We're on cycle 5. I'd I don't get pg in or before August I'll go at the gp.

loopylou1984 · 14/07/2015 17:53

Mummy - I would do the cheapy opk and if it's a positive do the smiley face one too - just to satisfy curiosity! X

Mummyofonesofar · 14/07/2015 17:55

Ral I'm on cycle 5 too. Is that post mc or have you had 2 mcs on 5 cycles? My DS 7 in sept.

RalucaMorena · 14/07/2015 18:05

Its cycle no 5 after 2nd mc. First one was Nov 14 and second in Feb 15

Hairstylisttoboris · 14/07/2015 18:15

ral I feel like I know you under another name. Can you give me a clue?

eskimo my local hospital doesn't do bloods at the weekends for things like this but I'd say going on the Friday isn't too much of an issue. My gp told me to go on the 19th as my cycles are short and everything's proportionately out of sync.

sammy look after yourself. X

RalucaMorena · 14/07/2015 18:17

I sometimes appear as Morena but not anything else. Been around in the last couple of months.

Mummyofonesofar · 14/07/2015 18:22

sammy problem is the smiley has to be done in the morning and opk in the afternoon. I think I will do one. Can't hurt I guess! Plus will be so happy if I get my solid face!

Ral no idea how I missed you joining. I sincerely apologise if I have been completely blanking your posts! Are you on our Facebook group?

eskimoflo · 14/07/2015 18:44

Thanks everyone. I'll start the Norethisterone on Thursday then. Roll on August...

Mummy Hope you get the fixed smiley tomorrow. I don't trust the OPKs anymore, as I would always get the flashing ones and then the fixed, at the right times, but blood tests revealed I didn't ovulate. I'm just hoping that my body was trying to surge, but that it just wasn't strong enough and that 100mg of clomid will turn the surge from a trickle into a torrent! Grin

RalucaMorena · 14/07/2015 19:13

Is there a fb group, mummy? :)

Mummyofonesofar · 14/07/2015 19:22

Fx for you eskimo that 100 is just what you need!

Ral I can't remember who runs it...

Mummyofonesofar · 14/07/2015 20:15

ral just thought, maybe you've posted on mumsnet monthly buses before but not on this bumsnet thread in particular? Which is maybe why I don't remember you. But anyway welcome to this bus! Bumsnetters are a cracking bunch who got on so well a few monthly buses ago and decided to step off of them and stick together on our own bus checking our cm and opks. We welcome newbies and so glad to have you here! As we got on we started a Facebook page with just the girls from this thread on. Someone who is admin should pop on at some point and you can see if we can add you on. We just chat rubbish on there really Grin

Nomio230 · 14/07/2015 20:21

I would definitely start the Norethisterone again, Eskimo. I think you will have to trick your body into thinking it is having normal cycles! Also, I wouldn't worry about having bloods done on day 21. The Dr told me that 2 days either side is fine.

Mummy, looks like you are nearly there. Get on DP, quick!

Glad you are feeling better, Sammy. Are you planning to go back to work tomorrow?

I just tried the strawberry Pimms. It is really nice. I don't really like the ordinary one, but this one is yum! Wine

Mummyofonesofar · 14/07/2015 20:25

nomio I've told him I need him tonight. He said he resigns from the baby making post lol. He is only joking though, if not I'll stick some stockings on - usually works Grin

loopylou1984 · 14/07/2015 20:27

Mmmm strawberry pimms! Sounds lovely!

Yes am planning on going back to work tomorrow. Dh doesn't think I should - last night for the first time since we've been together I had to wake him up by shouting his name as I lay in a crumpled heap on the bathroom floor... Think I shook him up a bit.

I'm worried that they will use up all my fertility leave days if I don't go back, then I'll have to take unpaid/holiday around embryo transfer. Plus I can't watch any more films!

Symptoms are easing a bit, but it still hurts when I go for a wee :(.
I think the progesterone is what is making me feel sick, so that's not going to get better any time soon. Just got to get on with it. Xx
