Reinstating the gin deck from a previous bus for AF arrivals, and stocking up on pineapple juice and Brazil nuts, fx for lots of BFPs this month.

CD15. OV should be either today or tomorrow, then I can join in with the symptom spotting!

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 13:01

Yay Grin the symptom spotting bus!!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 23/07/2015 13:20

Well ladies I about broke a finger trying to find my cervix Grin I don't know how far back I'm supposed to get but when I reached as far as finger would go it just feels soft. I'm not convinced it was my cervix I was feeling being new to this

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 23/07/2015 13:22

Cervix experience. I never knew if it was hard or soft and it always felt "open" so the only thing I ever recorded was high low or medium on the chart. During this last BFP week for the first time I thought it was seriously hard. Not even firm but hard no, I did not mistake it for a random pelvic bone I never knew was there before and low. If that helps?

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 23/07/2015 13:22

beauti You broke a finger? An entire finger?

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 23/07/2015 13:25

Auf didn't break it but almost it was one on the outside that went into a funny position this is what happens when you try and check your cervix when the Tesco delivery is due. Never moved so fast. Don't worry hands were washed Grin

Hairstylisttoboris · 23/07/2015 13:25

Oh ladies you've been very chatty this morning.
What should our cervix feel like at 7dpo? Mines high and hard. Is that bad?
I'll probably test on Sunday (I test at weekends as its easier to deal with it rather than on weekdays. By Tuesday I'll know of AF is coming but I can pee on a stick anyhow if we are having a pee party. I have loads of ics at Home.

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 13:33

Oh dear Beaut sending healing thoughts to your finger Grin It feels just like a penis, a round thing with a hole in the middle. If you wiggle you finger round in a circle you will be able to tell if it is your cervix. For hardness it’s either tip of the nose hard, chin squishy or somewhere in between.

Auf mine is always open too, having shoved a baby out it does change apparently so it may be the same for you? Low and hard and pregnant! And my BFP month had the worst temps ever. It all means nothing really Grin

DizzyNorthernBird · 23/07/2015 13:33

Ooh loads of us testing around the same time! Statistically one of must get a bfp, right?!

Hairstylisttoboris · 23/07/2015 13:33

Anyone else popped to the loo at work to check what's going on up there?

DizzyNorthernBird · 23/07/2015 13:34

I always check mine at work boris!

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 13:38

boris to be honest I don't have a clue what a 7DPO cervix feel like - pregnant or not!!

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 13:39

Statistically it is one in three so one of us should be pregnant by now!

I check mine at work too [girn]

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 23/07/2015 13:40

Cervix investigation take 2. It's high, open and in between squishy and hard. That means nothing to be though

Hairstylisttoboris · 23/07/2015 14:05

I can never tell if mines open or not. I can't now find it, it's gone awol, obviously knows I was planning to do some extra investigation.

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 14:12

Boris it has obviously gone so high you can't find it now!

DizzyMerry · 23/07/2015 14:49

My temp shot up this morning but I have no sodding symptoms to report

DizzyMerry · 23/07/2015 14:50

Oh actually I keep bursting into tears but that's due to the fact that I hate ttc and don't think I can cope any longer Sad

Hairstylisttoboris · 23/07/2015 14:55

Oh dizzym I'm so sorry, we all have thoes moments

Yeyyy for temp rise though and sometimes no symptoms are symptoms in themselves! Most people are symptom free for several weeks.

Hang in there lovely.

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 15:04

DizzyM I agree no symptoms is a symptom, plus a temp rise is too! Hand in their lovely, we will get you over the finish line x

Nomio230 · 23/07/2015 15:16

Don't give up, DizzyM, you will get there. A temp rise sounds good & pregnant women are known for crying all the time, so you never know!

I just did my OPK & it is not positive yet, so I guess I will OV tomorrow. That means more sex. Sad I am worried DH will run out of sperm at this rate!

I normally forget to check my cervix, but on the rare occasions I remember, it seems to change by the hour. I don't think it is very useful at spotting pregnancy.

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 15:24

Keep going Nom you can do it! And he won't run out, you might both run out of steam but one ejaculation at a time you will manage Grin

DizzyMerry · 23/07/2015 15:25

I feel like my whole life just revolves around ttc. DD was playing this morning and it broke my heart that she may never have a sibling to play with. I later picked up her wand and started laughing and then crying. Thankfully she wasn't in the same room to notice. I feel pathetic because I know a lot of you are ttc#1 but I feel worse coz we struggled with ttc DD and here we are again.
I have a telephone consultation with my GP on Monday following my private scan and I know she won't refer us to NHS for fertility issues as the private consultant didn't think I have any issues. I'm not bothered about this but I just don't know where to go from here. DH is a head in sand kind of a person and thinks we should just keep trying but in all honesty if it has happened without help so far what chance have we got now? I'm scared of IVF coz I've got DD to think of and can't afford to be feeling ill. I just feel so helpless.

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 15:30

DizzyM I think TTC is hard equally for people who have DCs already as those who haven’t. Us second time rounders just know the joy babies and children will bring to our lives and how much we yearn to tell our DCs an answer when they say “Can I have a brother or sister now?” It is truly difficult! I hope your GP understands what you are going through and can suggest something for you. Until then, big hugs in the chocolate section of the bus! xxx

Hairstylisttoboris · 23/07/2015 15:36

Oh goodness dizzym so sorry. It's horrible if you have dc already or otherwise. Keep pushing back to your gp, as purdie used to say get all Rambo on his ass. Until then be good to yourself eat chocolate and keep trying.
