Reinstating the gin deck from a previous bus for AF arrivals, and stocking up on pineapple juice and Brazil nuts, fx for lots of BFPs this month.

Hi ladies could I join you? I'm 34 and ttc#4. I have three dc. Been ttc for a year in September.

I'm about 8dpo with absolutely no symptoms so I feel I'm out again this month.

Does anyone know if when I reach a year ttc and go to visit the gp I'm likely to get any help.Ive a feeling being dc4 they won't be interested. It would be dc2 for DH as my older two are from a previous relationship. They have nothing to do with exp and call DH dad. However, he really wants to do the baby thing again and we both feel a fourth would be nice for dc3 as theirs quite an age gap.

Well I've had a lovely break away. My holiday in Spain was lovely and relaxing, spent the whole time chilling out and DP and I have spent all this week wishing we could go back soon.

Also, DP is now my fiancé......Smile. Do I now call him DF? Grin

So I'm now cd23 and I have my solid cross hairs on ff but ff can't seem to decide when I ov'd! Yesterday I got the cross hair on cd19 (tues) which is a bit poo as we hadn't been able to dtd since cd17. Then when inputting this mornings temp and cm for yesterday, the cross hair moved to cd21 which was better because we dtd on cd20. But....then I realised I hadn't input cm for cd21 so when I updated the cross hair moved back to cd19!!! So I have no idea when I've actually ov'd. I've got this stupid 'staircasing' rise which makes it hard to determine by the pattern too. Argh!

Either way I'm not entirely hopeful for this cycle because we didn't dtd on either of the days when ov could have happened!

Mummyofonesofar · 18/07/2015 08:29

DizzyN congratulations! How lovely! How did he do it? Glad you had a lovely holiday too. Confusing about ov....when will you poas? I am on Wed next week I think but will test early.

DizzyNorthernBird · 18/07/2015 08:30

This is my chart, anyone got any ideas which cd I actually ov'd on?!

I did have sensitive nipples on Wednesday which is usually a sign ov has happened though. And I also spent that evening in floods of tears after a 'constructive criticism' in my appraisal meeting that day Grin

mummy we should be due to test around the same time?

beautician I remember you from another thread or an earlier bumsnet? Welcome! Sorry I can't help with that, hopefully one of the others can.

Come join us on the bumsnet conception bus
DizzyNorthernBird · 18/07/2015 08:35

Sorry x post mummy! I'll try and hold out until nearer AF unless there's any symptoms....possibly test around the 29th.

On a positive note I've got my appointment booked for cd21 (or cd28 in my case!) bloods next week so if all fails I've got that to 'look forward' to Grin

DP proposed on the beach at dusk. The first time I took him out there we went to that beach at sunset and the moon was just coming up and was all pink. DP wanted to recreate that moment but unfortunately by the time we'd finished dinner we'd missed the sunset! But I didn't mind, it came as a surprise and it was lovely. Smile

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 18/07/2015 08:36

Dizzy I remember you I think it was maybe an earlier Bumsnet I was on a lot last October to January.

Congratulations. We need details on the proposal xSmile

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 18/07/2015 08:40

Crossed post.Sounds great, very romantic. Wedding plans will keep you busy.

Mummyofonesofar · 18/07/2015 09:01

Sorry DizzyN I meant a week Wednesday! So yeah about the same time. It sounds perfect Hun. Did he have a ring or are you choosing one together?

beautician I remember you too. Welcome back. I think you can get basic tests but not sure about a referral. Which cycle number is this please and when are you going to poas?

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 18/07/2015 09:13

Hi mummyofone this is cycle 10 and poas date is 26th July Smile

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 18/07/2015 09:14

To be honest I've kind of given up poas as every time I go to Af is there Hmm

Kirjava · 18/07/2015 09:15

Congratulations dizzyn!!!!

RalucaMorena · 18/07/2015 10:18

Did anyone else read about temperature indicating pregnancy? Apparently it has to be at least 36.7...

Rainy34 · 18/07/2015 10:31

Hi Dizzy great to see you back, hope you are well?, I am just at the beginning of my cycle and then in August we have our fertility appointment!!

Hairstylisttoboris · 18/07/2015 10:39

Welcome beautician! I don't get much nhs help because DH has a child already, even though I don't. Might depend on what help you want and where you live.

Dizzy n - welcome back. Missed you. Huge congratulations :) df makes me think dear father... And that on this thread would be wrong...

Waves to everyone else.

We've had a much better month for tTC, it's been fun not a strain. And we've been communicating much better. DH has been much more engaged with it. Anyhow this morning he's asked me if I've managed to refrain from testing yet. I'm about 3dpo. Bless. The education sessions still have a few classes to run.

Rainy34 · 18/07/2015 10:42

just read more on the next page,

congratulations Dizzy on getting engaged, how exciting!! your holiday sounds lovely,

welcome beautican I remember your name from a while ago, hope things are well with you and nice to see you back!, I have only poas in twice but in the first time i did poas on 8 sticks as af was awol for two weeks and was convinced i was pregnant!!!!!, so when it came i was very disappointed so now i wait and i have usually judged when af will turn up and dont need to poas!!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 18/07/2015 10:46

Hairy that's rubbish. I have a friend in a similar position who has to fund her ivf as her partner has a child already.

I feel greedy wanting a fourth as I know I'm lucky to have 3. But no matter what I just can't stop that yearning. I don't really know what help I want/need. I've a feeling I'm not ovulating so just some answers really and advice from the gp.

Hairstylisttoboris · 18/07/2015 10:48

beautician it's worth talking to your gp see what they can do. X

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 18/07/2015 10:49

Hi Rainy the first month of ttc I was the same po about 8 sticks. I have a 31 day cycle and now I just wait for the spotting to start on the evening of day 31. I also get ahem quite windy just before Af so that's another sign I look out for to know the witch is on her way Grin

Rainy34 · 18/07/2015 11:20

Beauticuan i suffer with spotting up to five days before AF starts, so i know in advance when it is coming , i also get quite windy too, the joys of being a woman

loopylou1984 · 18/07/2015 11:31

Just a quick update, transfer is cancelled. They thought I'd be too unwell if they went ahead. We're disappointed but know it's the right decision. We have 4 brilliant quality blasts to go in the freezer and 1 more that might catch up. X

Rainy34 · 18/07/2015 11:45

oh Sammy so disapointed for you but, least they can be frozen and go ahead when you are better!! sending you big hugs and Flowers

Mummyofonesofar · 18/07/2015 12:13

Ral not heard that one. But if it stays up when AF is due that's a good indication.

Boris haha bless him on testing 3dpo, glad you're having more fun! I'm hoping dp becomes more engaged soon rather than huffing and puffing when he expects I should have ovd already! We had a few performance issues this month but still managed to complete every time so it's ok!

sammy sorry the transfer was cancelled but at least when you do get booked back in you'll be ready for them and healthy enough to carry. And you'll not be wasting a blast being unwell. Does this count as a "go" on the NHS?

RalucaMorena · 18/07/2015 12:27

Mummy I an only 7dpo but although I try not to get my hopes up I still read about it

spinningirl10 · 18/07/2015 13:21

Hi all Grin

Dizzy, Congratulations on your engagement, sounds very romantic. Did he have a ring ready?

Pikz, sorry for temp dropHmm

Boris, does the wife know about the affair? I'm guessing not. Have you thought about telling her? I know this is an awful thing to do but my ex dh had an affair and when I found out I discovered that lots of people already knew. This made it even worse to think that no-one had told me. Maybe if you're not that close to her you could tell a family member and they could tell her. I do realise what a tough situation you're in, the poor wife. And no I wouldn't go to dinner with the scumbag!

spinningirl10 · 18/07/2015 13:23

Beautician, welcome back, I remember you from before.

Sammy, I'll catch up with you on the other thread.
