Ok, I've got a question. I've been charting and my temp has been all over the place. I got 5 high fertility opk then a peak on weds with the clear blue dual hormone tests.

I've entered all my data onto ff and it now thinks, looking at the temps, it thinks I ovulated on Tuesday. Is it likely that the opk was wrong and missed the peak on Tuesday? I know it will show peak for 2 days if you continue testing.

I'm annoyed.

ODog · 07/08/2015 16:03

Sorry birchy and emu and hope you are feeling better crunchy

Great that your OH is so positive lily, my DH is so confident we will conceive easily as we did last time. He's convinced it's his super sperm. So he's all relaxed about it all. Very frustrating.

Sorry kitty I can't help as I don't temp etc. although I would consider it if things were taking a while.

Dizzy and hungry are positive signs though

RalucaMorena · 07/08/2015 18:12

Hi all!
Why do I have af like cramps @ cd12? I am waiting for ovulation pain not af! Confused

weechops · 07/08/2015 20:25

What a rotten day all round for most of us Sad

raluca I usually have af cramp type pain at ov. Only once I've felt pain from my side. Our bodies love to confuse us! Grin

KittyandTeal · 07/08/2015 20:32

Raluca I get cramps as well as stabbing pains a few days before I ovulate (by body's great, pain during ov and pain during af!)

RalucaMorena · 07/08/2015 21:53

I usually get pain on the side that ovulates. Now I get af like cramps and I am confused. Also opk does not seem to get darker yet which is another strange thing! D'oh!Angry

pulpi · 08/08/2015 09:54

In a diversion from all the ttcing, we're off to Glasgow for the weekend... where we will being ttcing... so not so much as a diversion as ttcing with a slightly more impenetrable accent.

Hugs to all those that AF kicked off the bus and fingers crossed for everyone still to test!

daisylassy · 08/08/2015 11:28

Have a lovely weekend pulpi... And all those others who are off away... carrot I hope ur mam is homeward bound and you've got a big bold line.

Cd22 for me but feel like af is due anytime... Had af cramps for the last week.

Gut punched last night we had a group of friends around and one of them is 4 months. She stood all night saying that she isn't really bothered about kids and hates the feeling of something living inside her... Was hard to listen to but my lip but got very emotional this morning about it all...off to take the dogs to the beach take my mind off it all and remind myself how lucky we are...

Have a lovely weekend everyone!!

FlatWhiteToGo · 08/08/2015 12:02

Hey everyone. Sorry I've been MIA for a few weeks. I've had a pretty crappy few weeks and have been getting really down about this whole TTC business so have been trying to focus on other things. Just feel like it's never going to happen and that everyone who started trying after me is getting pregnant and even having babies before me. After my operation a few weeks ago I was looking forward to TTC in Aug, but after 18 DAYS of high OPKs (I sh*t you not...clearly there was something wrong with the CB stick) but no peaks, AF has turned up this morning. Urgggghhh. Just sick of it all. I know there are people who have it so much worse (a friend of a friend who I have met a few times has been trying for nearly 4 years now!) but I've just hit such a mental downer about the whole thing. Anyway...on to the next round...

Daisy - How horrible for you. What a total idiot. Unless she's nervous and is trying to down-play things in case things go wrong? I'd find that really hard and would struggle not to say anything. Does she know you're TTC?

Pulpi - Have a great weekend! Glasgow is ace. Obviously if you're successful this month the baby will have to be given a Scottish name, he he!

Carrot - I'm so sorry to hear about your mum. I hope she gets better soon. Any update? Also, tentatively, congratulations...although I totally understand why you don't want to get too excited.

Anyway, somewhat depressingly:

She's been discharged but promptly collapsed again at home but refused to go to A&E so she's being monitored at home.

Sorry you're having such a tough time flat

RalucaMorena · 08/08/2015 12:57

Lovelies I have one last question about opk: these last few days I tested around 8 pm. Is it possible that I missed the peak? I am only cd13, true, but I had a temp dip and today a temp spike so I can't really say if I ovulated or not. CM did not turn ewcm yet (this morning when I checked it stretched but not until today so based on this I haven't ovulated yet) and I don't know what to believe. So fat we dtd on Wed and yesterday and was planning to dtd more depending on opks either today or tomorrow.
Argh! I hate uncertainty! Angry

KittyandTeal · 08/08/2015 15:21

Oh daisy and flat. How rubbish for you.

It's so hard not to loose confidence and patience with the whole ttc thing

birchygoo · 08/08/2015 21:36

raluca - your temps won't tell you anything about ovulation until 3 days after ovulation! so I would just keep DTD until you have 3 raised temps!

carrot how worrying for you about your mum.

flat white - i know how you feel - am now on cycle 10 :-(

just took my 1st clomid tablet! am really frightened of it!

KittyandTeal · 09/08/2015 08:13

Great news on the clomid birchy :) fx it works for you.

My ff app has jiggled my ovulation date around twice now. Not too bothered though, we dtd on both dates so it's pretty much covered. Saying that I'm not holding out much hope for this cycle, it's been all over the place, we've not dtd as much as we probably should have, I've been poorly and had thrush and DH not been 100% either so I think I'll write this one off.

I had a long chat to my SIL yesterday, I'm getting to the stage where I think I might just be happy with what I have. I think we'll carry on ttc for a while but I feel like my desperation has gone now. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not. Stopping seems a bit too scary atm

ODog · 09/08/2015 09:06

Sorry to hear you are feeling so down flat. FWIW 3out of 8 of my NCT group took more than 10months to conceive their first baby, then one went on to concieve their 2nd first time when DC1 was only 6 months and she is due DC2 in 4 weeks. So don't feel despondent.

pingoose · 09/08/2015 09:08

Ovia also likes changing my dates around during my cycle, I don't think it helps that I've not had a regular cycle since ending the pill in January.

Had a bit of a big night last night at a friends engagement party, hoping that will be my last hurrah now! Also, my SIL had a baby girl yesterday - I'm thrilled but her pregnancy was keeping the focus off me, and now everyone's expecting it to be my turn next. Sigh!

pulpi "ttcing with a slightly more impenetrable accent" made me giggle!

FlatWhiteToGo · 09/08/2015 09:59

Thanks for all the positive messages Smile. I definitely needed it yesterday! Still feel a bit pants today, but trying to do my best to get myself in good shape for this cycle.
ODog - that's interesting. FX it happens for all of us soon x

Emilygremily · 09/08/2015 10:04

so I tested this morning after I done it i thought that was such a stupid thing to do and went back to bed however I just checked it and I think it may have been BFP ! I will test again in a couple of days

RalucaMorena · 09/08/2015 10:12

Ooh! Exciting! :)

weechops · 09/08/2015 11:13

Ooh pulpi you're in my neck of the woods Grin

Daisy and flat hugs to you both

raluca I don't really know about temping, but with opk I usually test around 11am 4pm and 8pm with the cheapy ones. Usually on cd12-15.

carrot so sorry your poor mum is so unwell

birchy fx that clomid works it's magic for you

Oh emily how exciting!!

I'm in the midst of my usual 2 day depression pmt before af starts this week!

daisylassy · 09/08/2015 11:18

Thanks folks... I'm fine just needed a quick reminder of how lucky I am ... The sea is good for that...

Wow Emily FX for you x

pocopearl · 09/08/2015 17:59
