I had one today so I'm ok for now. I've got a long, 4 weeks break coming up because of holidays (hers and mine) so that's going to be tough.

I'm working on being kind to myself, I'm much better but the anxiety got the better of me the past few days.

It's cd28 here. At least a week before I would expect AF based on last few cycles. I really, really want to be pregnant! As DS 2nd birthday approaches I am starting to feel the pressure. I always imagined I'd be well on the way to having a second by the time he turned two...???? feeling a bit sorry for myself today.

Thanks all, just been for a run, my answer to all problems. I'm also hoping it'll get af moving properly. I'm still at the annoying spotting stage. This is what it should have been like yesterday so I want to get it started properly and get on with the next cycle

for you kitty sounds like you've had a really crappy day but glad your run perked you up.

Totally fine to feel sorry for yourself spots life doesn't always go the way we imagine does it?! Not easy.

Great to hear your appointment went well birchy must be a relief to be in the hands of the experts and to have a plan in place.

It is great to know I'm starting on the path to help. Im not convinced I'm not ovulating - I'm not so sure Dr is either I think he wants to try these 3 months to rule that out. Then look at my tubes but as that's surgery we need to rule out none surgical options first - which I totally understand and am on board with!

I do feel a little more relaxed. I'm wishing this cycle over and I haven't even ovulated yet so I can start clomid.

Girls, I really need to have a rant and I'm really sorry, just need to let off some steam.

Basically my cousin's daughter got hold of my mumsnet account whilst on the laptop this morning (she's staying over), and I don't know if you've seen, but she's pretended to be a lady that her husband is cheating on her with Shemales!
I look utterly ridiculous now and everyone probably thinks I'm a right odd case because she was sticking up for this 'husband' and saying not everyone is perfect. Grrrr!

Advice please!:

Missed AF last cylce, but kept getting BFNs. Eventually AF arrived around 16 days late and I've had a fairly normal period. My tracker app has now incorporated this into my average cylce length and given me an average cylce of 37 days, when I'm pretty sure it's more like 33.

Any tips / ideas about when I should be expecting AF next time (should I just assume a 33 day cycle?) and also when ovulation might happen? I'm using the CB digital fertility monitor so that will help, but it would be good to understand what to expect.

If anyone has any ideas, I'll use the info to update my stats!!

mrsnucky this happened me - a cycle of 39 days! I must kept it in and it doesn't make much difference now although I'm slightly different were I haven't had the same cycle length yet! so if you are regular of 33 days except this cycle I would work on that basis again. do u know what your LP is? as that should always stay the same. so with cbfm you should be able to tell when you ovulate and then its you LP length from then that af will be due - hope that made sense

Af has well and truly got me! I'm really suffering already. I've been lucky in that I don't normally get too heavy periods (although they are worse since my tfmr)

I did talk briefly with my counsellor (who was a screening midwife and specialises in still birth, neonatal death and infertility so is very knowledgeable) about this being a possible chemical pregnancy with the symptoms and the very faint positive just before I got my period. I guess it doesn't make any difference if it was but its good to think I wasn't imagining or making symptoms to be more than they were.

My thermometer arrived today so I guess I start temping tmrw.

I know what you mean Kitty my Af got me a week early this month I was gutted, I really don't remember them been this painful and exhausting...

My cycles since coming off the pill have been 25 days long. last month was only 22 ... Does my one know if there's anything I can take to lengthen these ... ?? X

Hi daisy there is herbal things on here people talk about that lengthen cycles but I'm afraid I dint remember much of it as i would want the other way. Hopefully someone else will be along soon who will know more. Check the may/June buses as well as they were discussed there a lot

Daisy my cycles are around 25 days too. I didn't think these were too short, I ovulate around day 12 so a fairly decent lutel phase. I figure a shorter cycle means more chances more often iyswim
