It was ok thank you much better than I expected x

Indiedog · 07/07/2015 18:22

My due date from the trial was 7th Dec, then when I had my scan, as they measure it etc it's dated me as 2nd Dec, so nearly a week difference. My hospital notes will go with the scan date. Where as the trial will go with their date, as to stick with appointments etc, as They like to be strict!

Just to with the flow, and see as others have said it will even its self out. Xx

Genwah85 · 07/07/2015 20:25

Yea I will just go with it see what happens at scan (fingers crossed get that far) did anybody get any side effects after injection I don't if it's that or I'm coming down with a cold I feel achy hot and my glands in my neck have come up :( x

Choccywoccydodah · 08/07/2015 08:25

I'd give them a ring Gen. Thankfully I didn't have any side effects, but def worth giving them a ring just in case x

Marchgirl · 08/07/2015 09:32

How are you doing today claire? Have you started testing? Any symptoms? I'm symptom spotting like a mad woman. Yesterday fairly hopeful i was, today completely convinced I'm not. Why do our bodies play tricks on us like this?

clairemorgan81 · 08/07/2015 10:12

I tested this morning March bfn surprise surprise. I have absolutely no symptoms and don't think this is the month.
what symptoms were you having yesterday? it's funny as I feel like I'm starting to get sick of this whole ttc and I feel less bothered this month I've just had enough x

Syudbx · 08/07/2015 10:20

Hello... I hope you don't mind me joining this conversation!

I've just joined the trial, and waiting to try out the OV tests in the next few days! It's been so nice to read the positive stories on here. One thing I am struggling with is trying to keep positive and not just imagine the worst... Does anyone else feel like that? I've had three miscarriages:
June 14: 7w4d (mmc)
Nov 14: 6w2d (mmc) hb heard at 6w.
May 15: 5w

I really want to be positive and imagine it all working out fine but I'm finding it hard at the mo. I'm just thinking I'll get the placebo and it won't work.. But I know thinking like that doesn't help!!! Smile

Choccywoccydodah · 08/07/2015 11:29

Welcome syudbx, so sorry you're here :( Keep positive!!

Choccywoccydodah · 08/07/2015 11:30

Claire sorry about your bfn :(
I know what you mean, ttc takes over your life! And you just get so disheartened with it all x

clairemorgan81 · 08/07/2015 11:39

I don't think I 'll ever see two lines again on a test, that's honestly how I feel. I'm worn out with it all

clairemorgan81 · 08/07/2015 11:39

welcome syudbx I know how you feel. fingers crossed for you and so sorry for your losses x

Syudbx · 08/07/2015 12:15

Thank you Choccy and Claire. I know how you feel about seeing two lines Claire. Life now works in cycles.. Always counting down and waiting. I would never have guessed it would be like this! My fingers are crossed for you x

clairemorgan81 · 08/07/2015 12:26

thanks syudbx. Hope you get your positive soon x

Marchgirl · 08/07/2015 12:47

Welcome syudbx, and sorry about your losses. Yes, i have that feeling all the time that it might not happen. Just had 5th mc in a row and not feeling hopeful, but trying to stay positive (which goes in cycles! )

A big hug for you claire. I really do think you'll see two lines again, but it's so hard in the meantime. Are you at the stage of seeing your gp for a referral for some assistance? I'm sure that's not really what you want to do, but maybe they could help with something fairly minor or some testing. Still keeping my fingers crossed for you this month xx

I've been for progesterone blood test today she's also checked lh & fsh levels? I'm not really sure where to go from here? I'm seeing my gp hopefully next week about blood results, so will ask. my mc consultant is just shit. basically she's not interested in seeing me until I'm pg....doh I need to get pregnant first Sad
what kind of testing may they do? I'm nearly 34 so I'm sure when 35 they may do tests if trying for longer than 6 months - don't quote Me on that though?x

Marchgirl · 08/07/2015 14:17

I was thinking of sperm count/motility for your dh and the lh/fsh levels for you that you mentioned you are having anyway ( think that is to give an indication of egg reserves. although i doubt this is the issue as you are obv still ovulating, which is positive news). I think you need to have lh/fsh bloods on about day 2 (day 21 is for progesterone).
I'm not sure whether things like clomid or that other drug they use to stimulate ov (can't remember the name) work for situations like yours or not. There is a girl on the rmc board who has been prescribed clomid by a private doc for low progesterone but that's the first I've heard of it being used for that.

I think you're right that it's 6 months until they refer, although never harms if your gp knows your situation sooner. How many cycles are you now since last mc? This all sounds like I'm writing you off, and I'm absolutely not! I really think and hope that you won't need anything like this and your body is just being selective on the egg it chooses to incubate, but glad your gp is going to do some testing. Some other people on the rmc thread mentioned chinese herbs the other day too. No idea what they are or whether they are any use, but someone said they thought they did something. Hopefully this will all be academic as you'll have your bfp in the next few days x

Acupuncture meant to be good too just to throw that in there!!
Claire was it you who got pregnant easily before?

clairemorgan81 · 08/07/2015 14:32

dh had sperm count done once before, but that was over years ago.
gp didn't mention that a lh and fsh needed done on day 2? I will ask her if anything else can be looked at next week.
my last mc was dec so 7 months. I feel like no one will take me that serious giving that I fell pg so easily last year. I'm seriously pissed off with the whole thing....I know your not writing me off March so don't worry and thank you.....

anyhow how you feeling? what synpoms were you having yesterday?x

clairemorgan81 · 08/07/2015 14:34

choccy yes I got pg very easily last year 3xs but all ended in mc.
I had began having acupuncture but it's really costly and dh thought it was making my moods 10xs worse so I stopped x

Marchgirl · 08/07/2015 15:03

I think after 7 months they should be referring you claire, at least to get the ball rolling. Sperm count can change so defo worth looking at that again. Sorry the acu didn't work for you. I found it great but i know it's not for everyone.

Yesterday i had metallic taste (but was a bit dehydrated), tired (but dd has been waking before 6), hungry (always hungry!), and had a vivid dream (doesn't everyone!), also increased cm. Today nothing! Except a little spotting, but I've had that every month, pg or not. I just want to go to sleep til Saturday!

OP posts:
clairemorgan81 · 08/07/2015 15:26

I will ask dh to go to his gp about testing again. Yes now you mention it I think 7 months is ages.....I will definitely ask gp.

ahh I hope this is your Month March, symptoms aren't consistent this early on so I have my fingers crossed. we wish our lives away dont we!x

Meemsmum · 08/07/2015 16:05

Hey, so I went for a scan at 7 weeks today and they could see a gestational sac and yolk sac but no fetal pole which they def should have seen by this stage. I am so gutted, can't believe it's happening again as really thought things might be ok this time. I've been on progesterone this time but it hasn't worked obviously. My SIL is preggers and had her 12 week scan today. First baby, caught first month trying and breezed through first 12 weeks. Obviously I'm delighted for them but just so frustrating that it can be so easy for some people!

Choccywoccydodah · 08/07/2015 16:27

Memes Im so sorry you didn't see much today :( Will they rescan you in a week or so?

Meemsmum · 08/07/2015 16:48

Yeah, another scan in a weeks time but they've said not to get my hopes up for it.
Choccy, you are looking great, such a cute wee bump Smile.
Hope everyone else is doing ok. X

sizethree · 08/07/2015 16:55

claire I had a hysteopingogram done in Han, to check my tubes were both working and not blocked and that my womb is an ok shape. It can help vonception rates in the following months and luckily it worked for me. I had 8 months between pregnancy 1 and 2 and it was awful. I didn't do anything differently to fall pregnant with 3rd and 4th. It's just a blooming lottery and I really feel your frustration.
Very much hoping that it's a case of the perfecg egg waiting to meet the perfect sperm so you have a perfect baby this time.
Oh gosh meems life is being a mega c word to you at the moment. That's far too much s**t to be dealt to one person. I'm so very sorry you're having to deal with all this heartache. I hope you have a good support at your recurrent MC centre. What advice are they giving?
Hi syudx, sorry you find yourself here but well done for joining the trial. The futst weejs are pretty terrifying but you'll soon get used to the injections abc the support of the trial nurses is just great.
Waves to everyone else but on phone so can't flick back without losing this post!
