We went to window to the womb with ds indie! Unfortunately they closed their doors about 18 months ago near us so I've had to book elsewhere, but thought they were great :)

Vicki272 · 24/07/2015 16:10

I think we are the same kazz - we have been TTC since the summer of 2013. [SAD]

I am keeping my fingers crossed on the BFP for you!! Enjoy the wedding and keep positive! that is all that we can do... xx

Joy2713 · 24/07/2015 16:46

How funny indie it is at window to womb as that was the cheapest we could find and we have to pay extra for twins! Did you like them there? That would be fab asling as you dont mind? Xx

Kazz2112 · 24/07/2015 17:14

Honestly my brain is totally somewhere else atm. The daft stuff I have done in the last 7 days is unreal - missed half of a lesson as I forgot I was supposed to be teaching, binned loads if files I'd been specifically told to keep, put my phone in the fridge, left keys in the front door twice, took four attempts to get home from work last Friday because I kept forgetting important stuff and today it took me four attempts to package up a returns package because I kept leaving the paperwork out (twice!) and then a pair of shoes! I really truly am not normally like this!

Choccywoccydodah · 24/07/2015 17:16

#babybrain Wink

Indiedog · 24/07/2015 17:28

Joy, I would suggest giving them a ring, and say a friend forgot she had a voucher. Can it still be applied if you bring it along?

It's the £5 off, as the £10 is for 24-34 weeks 4D scan, and thinking about it we might use this one.

Give them a ring, let me know, and we can sort you getting it. I'm only in Totton. Hopefully you can use it. X

clairemorgan81 · 24/07/2015 17:32

lovely to hear you & twins are doing so well joy, do you know if they are identical?

kazz I'm really liking all of your dippyness!! I have a really good feeling about this being your month xx

Kazz2112 · 24/07/2015 18:41

I totally hope so. I had the same dippiness in the early stages of pg 2. I actually drove my car into a bollard (£2k worth of damage and 2 new doors!!!) and just sat in the car crying until my DH came and found me!!!!

And when I was talking to.my mum the other day she said the same thing. Hope so much she's / you're right!

Vicki272 · 24/07/2015 20:54

I had the same dippyness in my first pg. Used to drive all over the country with work, training. Went to train a session in my own town and didn't pay for parking! Just didn't even think about it, came back to a ticket!

So have my fingers crossed for you kazz xx

MAS7 · 25/07/2015 09:31

Hi choccy. Stats for me baby boy 2012, 3 misc 2014. Now due 10.12.15!

clairemorgan81 · 25/07/2015 19:29

does anyone know what I can expect test wise when seen by gynae for my bleeding?got app letter today, it just says bring urine sample and I presume nothing will be done at first app but not sure what they might arrange from there?

hope your all enjoying your weekend, found out today that a friend of a friend is 8 wks pregnant following a mc 6 months ago, lovely to hear but can't help but think how come it happens for everyone else and not me Sad she had told my friend she swears it's because she used pre seed that month I'm scepital it probably would have happened anyway! xx

Vicki272 · 25/07/2015 21:04

Oh claire I know exactly how you feel. I've had so many times like the one you've just had. My other half plays rugby and I now stay away from the club as I swear every other girl there is pregnant or had just had a baby. It's heartbreaking... You just have to do what you have to do to get through it. For me, it's self preservation to avoid it for now. It might not be healthy but it's what I have to do.

I'm not sure it's going to be much help but we all have our coping mechanisms I guess!

I'm not sure what exactly they will do, the appointments I have had for my PCOS and various other things they do the urine and bloods and an ultrasound to check the womb etc. not sure if that helps at all. X

Marchgirl · 25/07/2015 21:25

Sorry claire, I've no idea about the appt. I'd go armed with a few questions/ideas anyway and get as much as you can out of them. Perhaps they will be able to bypass the system and order some of the tests you might have got through the fertility people (in 18 months time!), like an hsg or hysteroscopy. Definitely worth doing a bit of googling on possible causes, investigations and treatments so you know what you're talking about in advance. Good luck for it.

Sorry you got the babybomb. Everything about mc feels unfair, and then makes you feel shit for feeling it's unfair. I really hope this is your month now you've got investigations booked.
I hate preseed! We only used it as lube rather than with the applicators but it's horrible stuff. I heard that you're still best to go au naturale than use anything at all (although it's definitely better than using normal lube)

OP posts:
clairemorgan81 · 25/07/2015 21:35

I 'll definitely do some research before app and I always have loads of questions. hopefully some other scans etc will be done.

it definitely brings out the worst in me, it brings out so many emotions. when my twin was pregnant I definitely didn't get as involved as I had with her other pregnancies, sad I know but I couldn't handle it. funnily enough Im not quite so effected now baby has arrived it was more the pregnancy and birth that upset me , strange xx

Choccywoccydodah · 26/07/2015 09:00

No idea about appt Claire. Have you googled what they're likely to do? Like March said go armed with loads of questions!!

Sorry about the baby announcement too. That was one of the reasons I came off FB last year, everyone just seemed to be getting pregnant except me. It will happen lovely.
Re the preseed, we used conceive plus all the months I caught inc all the vitamins etc but I used nothing at all with this one!

We had our first night in our caravan last night to try things out. Someone was trying to be helpful by helping and bloody broke the front wheel so we had to go straight out to fix it (not a great start, twat!) put us back 3 hours!
I didn't sleep very well, ds was up for the wee twice, dog was up about 6 times, so this morning I've had a moan that I can't do this!! Dh keeps his mouths shut as he knows I'm just having a moan lol. I'm sure it's just teething problems and I'll love it, and I know ds is just excited, I just need my sleep!!

Vicki272 · 26/07/2015 10:46

New to this whole concept... Ladies, verdicts then... Preseed or conceive plus? X

clairemorgan81 · 26/07/2015 12:21

Vicky I've used conceive plus these last couple of months and no joy yet, ive not used preseed. apparently they help sperm get to where they need to get......I dont really need lube(sorry if tmi) but thought I'd give it a go so not sure if its worth getting or not. but hey desperate times call for desperate measures!x

clairemorgan81 · 26/07/2015 12:22

damn it vicki I was convinced I had your spelling right!!!

Marchgirl · 26/07/2015 12:30

I've used both and don't like either, but the conceive plus was easier just because of the lid. The preseed lid is tiny and so fiddly. Bit of a passion killer to have to put a fiddly lid on at the crucial time

OP posts:
Vicki272 · 26/07/2015 16:24

I'm the same claire (don't worry about the spelling! It doesn't bother me at all!!) I'm just thinking that anything is worth a shot at this stage! That October deadline freaks me out!!! Hmm

Anyone conceive on either of them? Xx

Vicki272 · 26/07/2015 16:25

That is good info to know march the last thing you want to be doing is fiddling with a lid!!! X
