We don't care if you obsessively chart, temp & OPK, or just do the deed a couple of times a month. As long as you want a baby & can talk copious amounts of rubbish, this is the place for you. Grin

Cross post Sammy - ball well and truly rolling now. Very excited for you, although obviously hoping AF doesn't show up at all rendering the whole exercise pointless!

Mummyofonesofar · 22/06/2015 22:55

mega I hope at starts soon for you - in the nicest way so you can get back to your clomid !

Madame great news about the womb lining, I hope you get some more answers.

Pug everyone thoroughly enjoyed it but I was in trouble with DP. Here is a pic of my veggies Grin. I often have sticky and watery - never quite sure what to mark down!

Putney wow very fertile!!!

hopes gosh I hope ov comes soon for the sake of your foof!

mega I had so much fun!! Was in trouble but it was worth it Grin I will report back about the mooncup. Was a bit shocked by the price but it is meant to last years - just hope I like it!! The digis are great. Get signed up on the clear blue trial for free ones if you don't mind keeping pee in your fridge. I also have a face full of spots - not a good look...

nympho I cry at everything too, including the nativity when he was a narrator... I am being begged to do the mum face Friday, I really hate it.

sammy looks like you've learnt a lot in your appointment and are ready to set off. Good luck to you both x

Welcome to the Bumsnet Bus of BFPs
ThePug · 22/06/2015 23:04

sammy There must have been a lot to take in so not surprised you are now exhausted! I hope you and DH are both feeling excited tonight Smile

knickers Keep going!

mega Hope AF shows up soon and the spots get lost!

mummy & mega I've used a mooncup for about 10 years now (the same one Shock )! I first got it when I was put on some stupid pill (cerazette I think) which just made me bleed constantly and unpredictably. It's very easy to use and once it's in right you won't be able to feel it. Can't believe more people don't use them actually. No more running out of tampons or having to carry loads of spare ones in your bag. Never thought to use it post-CoC to keep the spermies in place though!

BabyBumpHopeful · 23/06/2015 04:03

Someone asked about stats earlier, so..

BabyBumpHopeful, 31, TTC#1, Cycle5, BFP Due June 24

woodpigeon123 · 23/06/2015 06:25

Hello,

Here are my stats after AF rudely kicked me onto cycle 9....

##########
woodpigeon123, 32, TTC#1, cycle 9, BFP due July 24th

Got an ultrasound and transvaginal examination next week, and a laparoscopy due in August...

C xxxx

Mummyofonesofar · 23/06/2015 06:46

Pug I can't wait to give it a go. Going to practice with AF first. But will any luck it would have invoked law of sod and I won't be using it for the next year!

babybump I had yours thanks Hun. X

wood thanks for the stats x

Mummyofonesofar · 23/06/2015 06:47

wood good luck with the scan next week. And sorry AF got you last cycle.

spinningirl10 · 23/06/2015 07:12

Morning Grin

MegaRobot, we use two different schools. From one we get 12-14 year olds and from the other 17-19 (although we've had older) I prefer the 17-19 year olds as they don't need me to entertain them. They leave for school at 8am return home at 5.30, eat and then go out to organised evening activity. Weekends they usually have one organised day trip and the other day free but they are ok to do their own thing. The young ones get one free day a week and I usually try and do something with them, if only for half a day. The two I have now I took to the beach on Saturday. Evenings have been hard with these because they just want to play on my sons xbox and they've deleted almost everything from it!!!
I would ask what is expected of you and how old they are. If you have any questions just ask, I've done it for a few years now but this is my last year.

Sammy, your appointment sounds very thorough. All systems go now! Very exciting, I'm sure you're going to get your long awaited bfp soon.

Who said they're off on holiday in 4 weeks? Where are you off to? I'm nosey Smile

The mooncup sounds like a good idea but I've never fancies it. I do sometimes use soft cups which is the same sort of thing but one use only after sex at ov time to keep the sperm up there. Very handy if it's a day time quicky and you have to get up straight away WinkGrin

Sorry, I know I've missed loads, on my phone and I can't remember much! Have a good day everyone Grin

DizzyMerry · 23/06/2015 12:07

Sammy how exciting! Your appointment seems to have gone really well and it all sounds very positive.

Spinning I'm exhausted just thinking about having 12-14 year olds under my roof! You must enjoy it and be a whizz at it now.

Hope your new cycle starts soon robot so you can start on the clomid.

Wood sorry for AF and good luck with your scan. Your a step closer now.

I'm on cd14 and still waiting for ov. Have been dtd eod since cd6 and just hoping I ov. Pug I think you asked when I usually ov? Cd13 but anovulatory cycle last month. Not sure how this one will go.

Queenbee30 · 23/06/2015 14:58

Hi ladies. Sadly, I think I'm going to hand in my bumsnet bus pass. I'm finding I'm way too obsessed about ttc. Over the weekend I was so much better not having access to MN.

Wishing you all your bfps, and wanted to say thank you for your support and hand holding. You're all fabulous. Lots of love.

Mummyofonesofar · 23/06/2015 15:03

Queen will be sad to see you go. Please hop back on if you feel you have the time again x

Nomio230 · 23/06/2015 15:58

Welcome, Putney, nice to have another old 'un on the bus! (I am 37)

Sammy, that sounds super exciting. I still have my fingers crossed you will get a surprise BFP this weekend though!

Lucie, eeeek! I really hope that this is your month.

Whoever asked about the house, it seems to be going through ok, thanks. The people we are buying from are in a long chain, so it is taking a while. We are having the survey done this week though, so progress.

We went back on Sunday to measure up & I love it even more now. The vendors are super nice too. I want them to adopt me!

Not sure how much I will be around this week, as I am crazily busy with revision/exams, then working Sat & going to my nephew's birthday on Sun. Plus I have to find time to seduce DH on a regular basis, as OV day should be Thurs. I can't wait until the 1st July when it is all over!

OP posts:
Nomio230 · 23/06/2015 16:01

Awww, Queen, you will be missed. I hope you manage to calm down & that you get your BFP soon. X

Not sure if my stats need updating or not, but here you go.

########Nomio230, TTC#1, Cycle no idea, BFP due 9th July (But we all know I will start testing about a week before then!)

OP posts:
loopylou1984 · 23/06/2015 17:29

Thank you Mega, Mummy, Spinning, DizzyM, Nomio and anyone else I've missed.

Pug - I don't feel excited yet...it still feels a bit like it's happening to someone else and I'm watching...the drugs will be delivered on Saturday though so it should feel more real then!

Wood - glad you've got the ball rolling on tests :) Are these private or NHS?

Spinning - Having the younger students sounds hard work, but great fun :) Is there a language barrier or can you make do?

Queen - sorry to see you go, but completely understand. Feel free to pop back anytime.

Nomio - glad you still love the house, fx things move quicker than you think.

DH is out tonight so am having a 'pjs on the sofa watching crap tv' evening, hooray! Xx

DizzyNorthernBird · 23/06/2015 18:02

Afternoon!

queen if you see this I totally understand where you're coming from. I've found myself obsessively reading all the ttc threads at times and although they're a wealth of info I sometimes think they fuel the obsession. I had a week off last week and it really does help take your mind off it. I was thinking about taking time out again in the run up to next months ov but as it turns out I'll be in Spain anyway which is a good thing!

No offence to you lovely ladies of course, you're all amazing..... Its just this website for some reason it can get under your skin and exacerbates the ttc frustration! So I'm gonna enjoy your company for now then I'm planning on trialling a strict no mn diet until I hit the tww!

pug was it you who asked about the nasal wash? Yes its kind of like a neti pot but with a squeezy bottle! I can send you the link if you fancy giving it a go. It's strangely refreshing but not sure yet if it's working!

Just getting off the train ladies so will pop back later Grin

Putneymummy1 · 23/06/2015 19:01

I love this bus! Been called and old un and very fertile on same day and laughed so much at the sports day cardi round the waist story! I'm well and truly settled in for the ride! I've brought prosecco if anyone wants. Waitrose had it on special offer! Grin In other news feeling super tired for no reason and a bit mood swingy. my God if it happened again first time I would not believe it. It would also be a little tricky at the job that I'm going back to next week! Ugh. It won't be I'm sure. Will it? Nah. I'm ancient xx

ThePug · 23/06/2015 19:25

Fx it will putney !

DizzyN No don't get me started - I have enough contraptions in my bathroom! Sounds like you've worked out how to manage the crazy, but do give us a wave before you temporarily leave us so we know when you'll be back.

Queen Sorry to see you leave us. Maybe we can get you a weekly pass rather than a daily one so you limit yourself to just coming on occasionally? I hope you're feeling better now anyway and wish you so much luck on your continuing journey

Nomio Ooh that's exciting about the house! But frustrating there is a chain so timetables are out of your hands. I was hoping I might ov on Thurs or Friday so would be your buddy, but today's opk is very faint so now not sure

sammy Enjoy your slobfest!

Wood Best of luck with the scans and just remember that they are a big, positive step forward and nothing scary

I hope I'm going to ov this month and not have a stupidly long cycle. CD16 today. The only other month I properly tracked I ov'ed on CD18 after pos opk on CD16 and two days of ewcm. No such luck yet Hmm

megarobotdiscoparty · 23/06/2015 20:16

mummy good tip on the trial, thanks - we've definitely had worse in our fridge when we've had lodgers so pee will be fine! Did I hear you get a pee catcher too? That would be much nicer than using an old mug.... ! Will get it set up ready if this cycle of Clomid fails. Going to have another month off the drugs in August and then our last round in September. Love having a plan! Good luck for the mum race if I forget on Friday Grin

wood so sorry about AF, I was so hopeful for you this time. Great news on the investigations, keep us posted?

spinning that's really helpful, thankyou! I suspect we are just too busy over weekends to really commit properly to it - these kids are 12-15 so probably a bit labour intensive keeping them occupied. Feeding them might be tricky too as DH is vegan and these kids are Italian - not sure the 2 things are compatible! You sound like a total pro, hats off to you for doing it for so long.

dizzy fingers crossed ov is just around the corner for you. Do you know how often you have anovulatory cycles? So frustrating isn't it. Keep on plugging my love. Dtd eod for so long is commendable and deserves an egg for effort!

Will be very very sorry to see you go queen. Good luck, please keep us updated Flowers

Fx for ov day nomio! House sounds lovely, so glad all is well so far. What exams are you revising for?

Hope you enjoyed your crap telly evening sammy! I love my peace and quiet evenings -DH is out on Friday and I'm already looking forward to a glass of wine and something trashy Grin

northern we'll forgive you for abandoning us providing you bring us back something suitably tacky from Spain Wink

I'll have a prosecco thanks putney - you're clearly upduffed so one glass less out of the bottle is doing you a favour, right? Grin

Any other ov signs Pug? That super-egg is about to shoot down the pipes - I have faith! Hope you're having a good week so far and narrowing down shoe options ready for the weekend....

Where is my knickers please? so demanding

Hope pikz, pixa and everyone else are ok - and frog with her exam!

Cd25 here. AF due Sunday unless it's an annoying long cycle - can't believe I'm willing the old red witch to get here YET AGAIN. Hey ladies, anyone want to join me at the back of the bus again?I'm making mai tais....promise it's going to be a good party back here

Nomio230 · 23/06/2015 20:23

Hopefully it won't be too long, Pug. My OPK was actually darker than expected earlier, so I am wondering if I will OV tomorrow. Going to sneak a quick CoC session in later. Hopefully we can be TWW buddies.

Putney, I am afraid if you are pregnant first try for the second time, I will have to kill you. Nothing personal, you understand, but I have been trying a long time for number one! Can I still share your Prosecco? Grin

Dizzy, I understand how you feel. I sometimes feel this site fuels my TTC insanity, but at the same time I would be lost without you guys.

OP posts:
fififolle · 23/06/2015 20:44

Sorry to see you go Queen all the best for your TTC journey.

eskimoflo · 23/06/2015 20:45

Hi everyone,

Just popping on to see how everyone is and apologise for not being around recently. I am on CD8 and, all being well, will begin CoC tonight. Finished the clomid on Sunday night. I don't know whether it's the side effects, but I have not been in a good place this week; just feel really, really fed up!

I apologise for not saying hello to everyone individually, but it would just take me far too long to do a catch up, so I will wave to everyone at the same time and hope that you're all ok! Smile

HopesUpKnickersDown · 23/06/2015 20:49

Robot Im here! I'm curled up at the back of the bus, a shadow of my former self, coc'd to within an inch of my life...send arnica and ice packs!

I'll join your party lovely lady!

Sorry can't catch up properly as I'm on my phone but waving meekly with shaking hand to the rest of the bus.

No temp rise, I think I may be eggless this cycle ????

spinningirl10 · 23/06/2015 20:57

Ha Knickers, well done on all the actionWink fx for you.

Eskimo, sorry you're feeling down. It could well be a side effect. I really hope it works for you.

Sammy, I've been trying to explain to them that I'm going to Glastonbury and my Mum is coming here to look after them. In the end I had to ask a french fb friend to help me! The 17 year olds usually speak perfect English but these youngsters hardly speak a word so it's all good fun!

megarobotdiscoparty · 23/06/2015 21:00

Oh poor knickers! Hope you and DH are ok. Have you been doing opks or just temping this cycle? Sounds like an early night is in order. I will add an extra large umbrella to your drink to revive you.

eskimo so lovely to hear from you! I get blue as hell on clomid so don't worry! It's like pms x 1000 for me so maybe the same for you. It tends to pass pretty quickly though so hang on in there. Are you having scans to see if things are happening in there, or just going for broke? Good luck!

Mummyofonesofar · 23/06/2015 21:03

Tired from yoga, now stuffing my face. Will reply to everyone in the morning. But yes mega you get a potty with a spout for tipping into the pots.
