We don't care if you obsessively chart, temp & OPK, or just do the deed a couple of times a month. As long as you want a baby & can talk copious amounts of rubbish, this is the place for you. Grin

Oh wow sounds like we're going to be holding hands mega Congats! I'm looking forward to doing a non cheapy test when I get home. I'm not getting too excited yet but the line was pretty strong and I got the day wrong, it was only 12dpo and on a not very sensitive stick

Nomio I'm also cross on your behalf- you've been messed around so unfairly.

Sammy super news!

Eskimo I think I missed your update but sending you hugs

I'm at airport waiting for my flight home now, staying with parents tonight so will catch up properly when home tomorrow afternoon.

It's lovely to have some good news on here. Congrats again ladies.

Third day of flashing smiley but think we will be sticking to dtd eod otherwise I'll burn myself out though DH is enjoying it. Those who use the CB digi opks many days of flashing smileys do you get before a static? I used them a couple of months ago and didn't get a static after several days of trying so gave up and now giving them another try.

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 10/07/2015 14:47

Flowers to lucie

Pikz · 10/07/2015 14:59

Pug and mega massive congratulations

eskimoflo · 10/07/2015 16:14

Oh, I missed some BFPs?!

Huge, massive congratulations to Pug and Robot! So pleased for you both!

Good luck Sammy!

Lucie Keeping everything crossed for you for the new protocol!

Exciting times for you all! x

Nomio230 · 10/07/2015 16:48

Robot, massive congratulations! I am so pleased for you!

Pug, congrats again. I hope you both have perfect pregnancies this time. Smile

Thank you again for all your lovely words of support.

Lucie, unfortunately private is not an option right now, as we are in the middle of buying a house & put all our savings into that. As soon as I find a job, we will be looking at going abroad, so may well be asking for your advice. I really hope your new protocol works for you.

Sammy, I have everything crossed for you.

Dizzy, I gave up on the dual hormone sticks, as I only ever got flashing, even though I know I OVd, because I was double checking with other sticks.

Boris/Eskimo, even though it looks bleak right now, we will all get there eventually. We will get our babies & they will be worth the wait. X

Get your name down on the waiting list for Gennet nomio as it takes about 6 months for a consultation so at least you will be ahead of the game when you decide you are ready.

Nomio230 · 10/07/2015 16:59

Good idea. Do you think they are the best, Lucie?

Pixa · 10/07/2015 17:00

Ladies, I haven't been here much but I need your support please. DH has had his SA results today. Completely blank. What happens next? We are obviously distraught.

Nomio230 · 10/07/2015 17:01

On no, Pixa, hat is terrible news. Did the Dr offer any advice as to why or what can be done?

OP posts:
Hairstylisttoboris · 10/07/2015 17:07

pixa oh my lovely. What do you mean by blank? Poor result or no data? You need to go back to the doctor Asap. Some women have had some amazing sucess with vitamins but it depends on the problem. Dr purdie was the vitamin guru she's still on facebook etc. big hug to you. X

Nomio230 · 10/07/2015 17:12

Spinning is also really knowledgable on vitamins. Her husband's sperm drastically improved.

Also, one of our grads found out she was pregnant & the next day her DH got his results back & had 0% morphology. I think maybe it was Heir. What I am trying to say is, don't give up. There is always hope, even if you can't see it right now.

Sending you a big hug & I don't care if it is un-Mumsnetty. X

mega!!! Superb news, I'm thrilled to bits for you xx

loopylou1984 · 10/07/2015 17:33

Thank you everyone. Can't believe we're here. I has 21 with some of them being quite big so am at risk of OHSS so just need to rest and drink lots of water and eat lots of protein!
Last stimulating drug will be tonight, and the one more of the 'stop you ovulating' drug at 9pm tomorrow and the trigger at 10pm. Then it's egg collection at 10am Monday! Eeek!

Pixa - were all the results zero? If so perhaps he has a blockage? If so there's a simple procedure he can have to resolve it I believe. Hugs to you lovely, Xx

DizzyMerry · 10/07/2015 17:34

Oh pixa that is such a blow and I know exactly how you're feeling. DH has 0% morphology and after the advice of the lovely ladies on here he is now taking vitamins. He is taking Wellman conception vits, 1000mg vit c, which Chops advised and if I'm correct she got her bfp 3 months after her DH started taking these. DH is also taking coq10 and 3 Brazil nuts every day. There's been quite a few success stories on here when dealing with sperm issues.

DizzyMerry · 10/07/2015 17:37

Nomio I've got one test stuck left in the box so don't think I'll be wasting anymore money on getting another pack. I've got quite a few ICs and will carry on using those.

HopesUpKnickersDown · 10/07/2015 17:38

BFP!!!! Robot congratulations lovely! So happy for you! ????????

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 10/07/2015 18:03

Oh no pixa that sounds distressing if it means he has no sperm count at all? I have no advice, only to repeat what others have said and that is to get the consultation to explain things books ASAP. Flowers

Nomio230 · 10/07/2015 18:11

Pixa, my Dr told me that the NHS sperm tests are rubbish. Apparently there is a much more accurate one you can have done, but it is only available privately. It might be worth a look, just so you know for sure.

Sammy, I am glad they realised your OHSS risk now so you can hopefully prevent it. Sound like you will have lots of little eggs just waiting to meet that magical sperm!

OP posts:
Pixa · 10/07/2015 18:35

Hey, just to clarify, all results were zero. No sperm. DH asked what can be done to improve the situation, and all they have said is that we can have investigations to see if there is a blockage. Really appreciate the kind words. We are heart-broken to think that we will never conceive naturally.

lucieloos · 10/07/2015 18:47

Nomio, the clinic I'm at which is called Reprofit have good results but Gennet has more technology and if it doesn't work for me this time around I will probably move there. I think they are one of the best choices in Czech and Purdie always used to rave about their embryologists. You can email them and ask to be put on the waiting list and then complete the forms a little later if you want to. At least if you do that you know that you have options a little bit down the line rather than deciding you are ready and then realising that you have to wait another 6 months. Have a look at their website there is lots of information on there.

Pixa, I'm so sorry to hear of your dhs results. You will need to arrange for tests to see if there is a blockage that can be sorted or sometimes then can carry out a procedure where they can retrieve enough sperm directly from the testes for you to use in IVF. It must be a lot for you to take in at the moment. I know how devastating it is to realise you are unlikely to conceive naturally. I felt the same and spent a while trying to get my head around it. I'm ok with it now and so long as we can have a baby neither dh or I care how it gets there.

spinningirl10 · 10/07/2015 18:58

Robot, yay Congratulations to youGrin

Pixa, I'm so sorry for your SA results, I know how upset you will both be right now. My dp had bad results, not as bad as yours but not good. Anyway the vits he takes are Q10, Maca, Zinc, Magnesium, VitC and a fertility for men vit. We saw a complete turn around after 3 months of him taking these. Get your dh on the vits. It may not work but it's worth a try. Fx there's a blockage that can be sorted. Sending big hugs. Hope
You've got something nice planned for the weekend.

Mummyofonesofar · 10/07/2015 20:24

lucie great to see you, glad you've got a plan in place for the end of the month. Good luck for the next time.

pug Grin strong line! You and mega give me hope for this time around. Hugs all round? X

DizzyM one month I had no flashys, then 1 the next month, both times I got a static. So far this month I am on flashy number 4!

pixa sorry about DH's results. I hope they can sort any blockages out so you can try naturally, if not then sperm retrieval for IVF.

Pixa · 11/07/2015 08:28

Just wanted to send you all a massive thank you. We would be lost without you all.

Our heads are still spinning. We have decided that yesterday was the worst day, day zero. Each day from yesterday will get a little bit easier. We are getting closer to getting our child now we know what is wrong.

We are so very appreciative of the kind words.

HopesUpKnickersDown · 11/07/2015 08:30
