Evening All!
First injection done, phew! It was a bit stingy, but not too bad. DH has helped m make up the second lot ready for when he's out tomorrow night, so I'm all prepared.

Nomio - I'd rather be in control doing the injections myself. However if it starts to get really painful then DH may have to take over.

Mummy - Yes we did, everything was there. It was listed as a 'multidose pen' when if fact it was actually lots of needles!

Mega - The pups are so cute, we went to visit earlier...they are escaping out of their box now and getting up to all sorts of trouble!
I love JoC, def calling it that from now on!

mega sorry about shitty baby bomb, the “friend” who bombed me on facebook is due on my month too. Plus got a baby bomb from someone I used to work with who is so lovely and I can imagine they have been trying and they have been married a year or so now and I can’t help but be so pleased for her. Maybe it is because she isn’t up here and I won’t be bumping into her!

BBH It is funny how some baby bombs are harder to swallow than others! I sent DP a text about the baby bomb last night and got a text back saying “Please don’t start doing this again. I know you want to be pregnant and I want that too. We will get there”. So looks like the jealousy thing is getting old now, but how else are we meant to feel when it seems everyone around us are pregnant! I constantly thought I was pregnant on the implant because you do hear it can happen but I never was. AF just goes really weird on it every now and again plus some weird hormones. I am sure she isn’t pregnant. Fx anyway!

Thanks everyone saying how well DS did, he is amazing – reminds me why I am going through the hell of TTC/opks/vits/baby bombs because it is all so worth it! And for thinking of me and my cocktails last night! I had such a great night!! Far too much to drink however and we got to bed at gone 2am and had to walk into work because I am not yet safe to drive think I am going to struggle through today, very fuzzy head but impressed with myself that I turned up at all!

Thanks mummy sorry about the baby bombs, but I also find some easier to deal with than others! My weird tiny little positive that wasn't and the messed up cycle got to me much more than I realised, and then loads of baby bombs

babybump sorry for all the baby bombs. I hope it felt a bit easier knowing that your friend had tried for a while. When I get pg I'll make a point of telling people that we'd been trying for a while so that if there's anyone in the same shoes it'll give them some hope. It's not nice to feel like everyone else is getting upduffed at the drop of a hat.

DP and I managed to dtd this morning just for fun, wasn't particularly pleasant in our stuffy bedroom. I hope it's going to be cooler around ov time otherwise I don't know how we'll get through it

Sun is shining again here today, I'm off to an open air pool for a swim shortly, should be bliss as long as I layer up on sunscreen! Can't wait!

So, im thinking I might step off the bus later today or tomorrow as planned in the build up to ov. I've got a busy weekend ahead of me then we fly to Spain early on Monday so it seems to be a good time to make the break (I swear last time I stepped off I had to go through a couple of days withdrawal, like quitting tea or chocolate!!!)

Will make the most of my time here today though as will miss you all while I'm away!

DizzyN I have had a Subway breakfast roll but counting down the minutes to go and get chips from the canteen then at some point feel ok enough to go and get my car! I hate driving the day after a night of the pop, I never know when I am safe! Need to get a tester for my car really.

I'm shit at traffic law as it's not my specialty, but if memory serves a rule of thumb is to work out how many units you drank, then it's supposed to take the body something like an hour to break down two units. Or two hours to break down one unit? Gah......

I got baby bomed by a girl we were out with last night. She's 12 weeks of and it was heart breaking to hear her chat, and I couldn't be happy for her at all. I need to step away from things a bit and keep my head clear of tTC stuff for a short period.

Thanks DizzyN I have no idea how much I drank at all! But shocked that it takes 11.5 hours for a bottle of wine to get out of your system! Glad you enjoyed your fun DTD! They are important. Enjoy your swim. We will miss you ! But get that everyone needs some time away – especially on holiday! It should be a rule that when on holiday you must not mumsnet!

We just got our formal mortgage offer! The survey was all ok, so it looks like it is definitely going to happen. I am so excited. All I need now is a baby to fill up one of the rooms!
