We don't care if you obsessively chart, temp & OPK, or just do the deed a couple of times a month. As long as you want a baby & can talk copious amounts of rubbish, this is the place for you. Grin

Morning lovelies. I hope you all have this amazing sunshine. Smile

Mummy, that woman sounds like a complete bitch to me. How can she not care that her news might upset her friends who have lost babies? I would cut her out of your life. You don't need people like that around you.

Good news on your holiday though. My sister went to Bulgaria a couple of years ago & really liked it. She had a ski holiday, not beach, but I am sure it will be great.

DizzyN, thanks for the snot story. Didn't put me off my breakfast at all! I am in the same situation as you-no garden. Sad I really miss having one.

Sammy, that sounds like a long time to wait, but I guess it will be easier to cope with if you have a reason. Exciting times!

My obviously not, but I like to delude myself symptoms at 4DPO-hot & tired.

I am going to the resort Sunny Beach which is just the longest stretch of beach there DizzyN complete tourist spot but I am so excited! I am only on day one of the mooncup but I would recommend it already – the prices of tampax make me feel ill! I am so glad to save the money. I hope you’re right about the schlerp noise Grin

Nasal rinse is working! Get all the infection out and you’ll be right as rain again, good thinking of that Dr!

Sports day soon - got my trainers on, just need to put a towel in my drawers for pee protection and I'll be ready to go haha

Nomio230 · 30/06/2015 10:41

Ha ha, Mummy. Remember, it is the taking part that is important, not the winning. Grin

It is my nephew's sports day today too. These poor children are going to melt!

OP posts:
DizzyNorthernBird · 30/06/2015 10:42

nomio, you're welcome Grin

Yes the nasal rinse is weirdly enjoyable to use, it's kind of refreshing and makes me feel all clean afterwards!

Oooh sports day! Must mean summer is here properly now! I can't wait to have a sports day to go to. Can't go to DP's kids sports days because their mum would freak out Sad

Mummyofonesofar · 30/06/2015 10:45

Nomio absolutely going to distance myself from her from now on! Think we have fallen out now anyway so easy done Grin

Lots of people seem to go to Bulgaria for skiing rather than sun but on a google it is the cheapest beach destination in Europe to buy food & drink at apparently.

I came 4th last year and didn’t get a medal Sad must try harder this year! DS is pretty quick though so he can share his medals with me Grin It is warm here, could be sunnier though – mostly humid rather than sunny warm.

Nomio230 · 30/06/2015 11:01

I hate humidity. My hair turns into a frizzy mop! We are forecast 30-35 degrees here today & tomorrow. Wonderful weather for exams. Hmm

I hope you get manage to get a medal this year!

Dizzy, it must be really hard to be in that situation. Obviously the kids are a big part of your life, but it sounds like you are excluded from a lot.

Mummyofonesofar · 30/06/2015 11:03

DizzyN that is awful that you can't go to sports day! How unfair for you, good enough to wash their clothes when they stay but not to enjoy the good bits? What a joke, sorry hun x

Hairstylisttoboris · 30/06/2015 11:09

Sorry not been posting much.
It's warm here too, no sitcom in the office so today's going to be lovely Angry
I also don't get to go to step kids sports day. As their mum works at the school in admin we never get told when they are (or parents evening or anything). My poor DH misses out on all that stuff, as do I.

I'm almost tempted by moon cups now, appart from the noise!

mummy sorry about your friend but pleased you found a holiday. Sounds lovely. Enjoy :)

Hairstylisttoboris · 30/06/2015 11:10

Sitcom? Air con!!! Gah

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/06/2015 11:22

Don't get me started mummy! New husband gets to go to sports day but DP has to keep his mouth shut so he doesn't upset the dragon! She's a stupid bitch who uses her kids as a way of getting back at DP for the divorce. I have so many things I'd like to say to that woman but I can't because it ultimately might mean she makes life difficult for DP, which isn't fair on him Angry

boris we have the same problem as she works at the school too. When things were really bad between them she just wouldn't tell DP when there were events on at the school until last minute, usually when it was too late to do anything about it. He's missed sports days, Christmas plays etc because of her. She'll know what his plans are months in advance, holidays etc, but then she'll text him the day before to 'remind' him that it's sports day, by which point we're on our summer holiday etc. She's twisted and evil but gradually getting better now she has a husband to keep the peace.

Nomio230 · 30/06/2015 11:25

That is absolutely horrible. I really hate these women who use their kids to get back at men. It is just wrong & unfair to both parties.

OP posts:
HAirstylisttoboris · 30/06/2015 11:25

dizzyn it's horrible isn't it? I don't get how mothers can do this to their kids. The kids want both parents to see them take part in stuff, and go to parents evening etc. DSD thinks sometimes we don't care because we don't go. We weren't even invited to her christening or told it was happening. Ok rant over. Breathe.

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/06/2015 11:45

boris that's awful! What gave her the right to do that? DP's ex knows exactly how to push his buttons, i.e by withholding information about how the kids are, what they've been doing etc, which really upsets him. Then he'll end up having a go at her and she gets to play the victim in a situation of her own creation!! It makes me so mad! Hopefully the kids are ignorant of it all. But it really isn't fair.

Then she has the nerve to tell him to leave her alone, that she's trying to get on with her life and that he needs to do the same........errrrr yeah Mrs Bitch, if you were really trying to get on with your life then you wouldn't feel the need to play manipulative games to get back at your ex! Fucking sour faced bint.

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/06/2015 11:47

Sorry for rant.

Anyway, sports day! Egg and spoon anyone?

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/06/2015 11:48

Boiler man still hasn't arrived. I'm so bored,

Hairstylisttoboris · 30/06/2015 11:55

Sorry you are bored dizzyn I'm bored at work and trying not to eat my lunch already.... Sigh.

Mummyofonesofar · 30/06/2015 12:00

I really hate all these women who use their kids in rows! I hope the kids are old enough soon to know you all want to be there cheering them on. and as for the Mums working in schools keeping events private - I would be contacting the head teacher to ensure this stops happening!

I heated my lunch up 20 mins ago because I am bored at work. Now on my break browing all the great reviews of my hotel Grin

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/06/2015 12:08

I only had breakfast a little while ago but might make lunch now. Then, if this boiler man ever turns up, this afternoon I might go for a walk around town and grap a frappucino from somewhere. It's the first day of my time off and so far all I've done is swapped sitting in the office for sitting in my living room!!

Hairstylisttoboris · 30/06/2015 12:08

The headteacher of my dsc has been brainwashed by the bitter ex, we can't complain or we get accused of harassment. Sigh.

I'd love to be booking holidays. Sadly we get a few weeks in a tent in Wales...

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/06/2015 12:35

I'd love to go to Wales boris! We're hopefully going to get camping gear after the season when I'm hoping it'll be on sale, ready for next summer. Camping will be amazing if this weather holds out!

Mummyofonesofar · 30/06/2015 12:38

Wales is gorgeous tough! You should meet up with night while you're there! We keep meaning to go camping but not sure where to go really. Living up here near the lakes & peaks should make it easy - I know people that just go and pitch up somewhere but I am not that brave

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/06/2015 12:55

There must be some good sites around Bowness or Ambleside mummy? Admittedly growing up so close to the lakes I never actually went camping there, apart from on school trips. My parents used to take us abroad for our camping hols.

Hairstylisttoboris · 30/06/2015 13:09

We are actually going to bear nights home town. Not sure what DH would make if a mumsnet get together, he's a bit funny about what I may or may not share on here.

spinningirl10 · 30/06/2015 13:11

Hi all Grin

I'm back from Glastonbury! Had the most amazing time, So much fun. Was so tired though, I don't like
Camping. Slept for 12 hours last night!
Af is due here and I woke with awful stomach pains last night and had to take some Paracetamol so I suspect she'll soon he here!
What have I missed, who's poas soon?
Good luck with the sports days! My ex Dh chooses not to go to Ds's school things but tells everyone I don't let him, he is a dick!

Nomio230 · 30/06/2015 13:31

It is so tricky when you have to deal with ex partners due to having kids. I think you are all brave for even attempting it. I would have run a mile if DH had kids when we met!

Dizzy, I hope your boiler man comes soon.

Spinning, glad you had a good time. Festivals don't appeal to me, I like showers & wifi too much!

I am trying to frantically cram more information in my brain, but there is some foreign guy near me shouting into his phone. I might go stamp on it!

I just bought this to motivate myself!
