Lovelyjubbly95 · 29/06/2015 11:09

My test date is 2 july. I had a funny feeling i wld get a bfn. Am expecting af to turn up but wld be nice to see a few lines instead !

marmitemofo · 29/06/2015 11:41

lovely I'm also testing on Thursday!

8/9dpo here, not feeling too hopeful about this month. annoyingly, am also feeling rubbish/run down at the moment - my DD has caught some kind of weird cold/virus, she was fine in herself all w/end but didn't eat at all yesterday, was thirsty all day and had a bit of a temp. I've also had raised temp and thirsty, so think I have prob caught whatever she has. annoyed about the temp rise though as it is wrecking havoc with my FF chart Confused

ODog · 29/06/2015 13:18

Hi, can I join? I am having my coil removed next week so we can start TTC DC2. It's the non hormonal type so hoping we can start right away. Anyone have any experience? I'm 27 and have lovely DS1 who is almost 13mo. Haven't felt broody at all until recently so excited to get TTC again.

marmitemofo · 29/06/2015 13:58

Hi odog

I had the non-hormonal coil in from 2006-2013, started trying straight away, and my experience was very good Smile I had it removed a bit late in my cycle to ttc so started trying after my first post-coil period and got pregnant straight away! my DD was then born in November 2013. So you should be good to go straight away Grin

weechops · 29/06/2015 14:00

Hello lovely ladies I'm baaaaaccckkk!! Holiday was out of this world but now it's back to reality.
Having ds1 birthday a few days early today as dh will miss it.
Trying to get him organised to go tomorrow. For 3 months sob!
So I think I'm due to ov around Thursday so hoping that having a wee quickie just before he leaves tomorrow will give us a good shot Grin Or if it's a bfn on the 17th then I won't get another shot til the start of October!
But I'll still follow the buses to cheer you lot on to your bfp's

CarrotVan · 29/06/2015 14:24

Welcome ODog I'll add you to the stats

Welcome back weechops - glad you had a good break

Sorry you're feeling rubbish marmite. FX for Thursday. Quite a few people testing at the end of the week

Thought I was seeing things weechop Wink seen you post on netmums the just read it on here tooSmile good luck for you last min bd.

I have my third day of positive opk?? What's that all about? When do I count dpo? My apps say 1dpo today

CarrotVan · 29/06/2015 14:51

Three days of positive tests is unusual. You normally ov the day after a positive. Any ov pains?

ODog · 29/06/2015 15:00

Thanks for the welcomes! Sending lots of newbie positive vibes for lots of July BFPs and lovely spring babies! That's great to know you had such a positive experience marmite. My cycles have been all over the place since they restarted after bf. I'm currently 9 days late, so just assuming that the coil is still working and this is a blip.Blush

weechops · 29/06/2015 15:09

3princes ha sorry to confuse you Grin when I was pregnant with ds2 I made friends with a lovely bunch of netmums, and some are trying for their next dc too so I use that board too.

3Princes99 · 29/06/2015 15:10

No, no ov pains this month but I don't always get them anyway. I'd say yesterday was the strongest line (quite abut darker than test line) so I'll go by that I think.

weechops · 29/06/2015 15:12

Oops posted too soon. Some of them aren't on fb so I can chat on their posts on nm and keep in touch. And I kinda like looking at tickers ha!!

marmitemofo · 29/06/2015 15:26

thanks Carrot. although I'm feeling ill, I'm also feeling pretty sorry for myself which is a classic pre-AF feeling so feeling quite pessimistic as due in the next few days (I'm not sure exactly but certainly soon). Mind you it could be the effect of the weekend I spent with DP's SIL who is six months pregnant! Envy nothing quite so depressing as being in the TWW and feeling very pessimistic and surrounded by fertile upduffed lady for two days. I know it's pathetic to feel a bit resentful but I did. ho hum. roll on Thursday and a BFP. A friend of mine is having a BBQ this weekend and my DD will be staying at her grandmas so if AF turns up at least the silver lining will be that I can get on the Wine and not have to make excuses for why I'm not drinking.

3princes I think that is quite unusual though I don't know much about opks as only started doing them this month. have you been temping as well?

odog are you still bf? I thought periods were a bit all over the place if they return when you are still bf (I had the implant in at 8 weeks post-birth so my periods never returned even once I had stopped bf my DD at 15 months), so it could be that?

Itsme247 · 29/06/2015 15:45

Marmite I feel your pain after spending the weekend with my SIL who has an adorable 1 year old (a honeymoon baby) and very obviously dropping hints that she's pregnant again.

I am really happy for her they are a lovely family but I did have a little cry :( we started trying basically after she had her first and we haven't even got pregnant yet and she's onto her second.

*staying positive ....

Southy84 · 29/06/2015 16:04

Ahh I think I'm classed as South east birchy yes definitely fx for a bfp before!! I will keep you updated if I hear anymore before you, if you hear anything let me know :)

I don't trust the OPKs, I don't bother with them anymore. Just going to DTD as much as poss, I'm also continuing to temp as last month it seemed very accurate (as it tied in with my blood test results) also what's weird is this month my temps are a lot more stable (not so much of a rocky mountain), now the only thing that's different is I had my reflexology app, I'm still mouth temping too. Maybe I'm gettin my hopes up but I'm convinced I am just about to OV or just have, which would mean my cycle will be shorter this month... I know i shouldn't get my hopes up that reflexology will sort everything out, but seems a bit odd.

llammallamamissesmama · 29/06/2015 16:55

Hi, I'm due to test at the end of the week. I'm desperate to wee on a stick!! I'll try to hold out as long as I can.

Emilygremily · 29/06/2015 17:06

I love moving house this will be the 4th time in 2 years :D but the next house is for keeps or at least for 3 years :D

Just hope that second bedroom will come in use for more the my DSS who only stays once a month :(

KleineDracheKokosnuss · 29/06/2015 17:19

Bugger. Lost last message.

I'm due to test on 7 July, so will be joining you ladies for a while...

CarrotVan · 29/06/2015 17:39

Welcome kleine

Indomitable · 29/06/2015 18:30

Thanks CarrotVan, I'm taking that as a green light to test on 15th with wingoose and then again on 17th with weechops & violet!

Hi ODog, I had my copper coil out last month, the day after ovulation, but didn't get anything despite much wanting and secret POASing!

Counting this month as the first official cycle. Hoping for something like marmite's success!

3Princes99 · 29/06/2015 19:30

Haha weechops, I'm just nosey :)

No I don't temp marmite cause I work 2 nights a week and they can be any 2 nights so would mess my chart up. Going to class yesterday as my positive as AF is due 12th july and I normally have a 13d LP

ODog · 29/06/2015 20:59

I stopped bf in November marmite, so it's all a bit strange. I conceived really quickly last time, but the way things are I feel this time might be trickier. That coupled with the fact that I have a non sleeping 1 yo who is permanently in our bed!
