wow lots of messages to catch up on. been out and about today so not much chance to log on until now.

congrats sunshine, I deffo see a line! FX your AF feelings are just paranoia.

I took another IC test this morning (14dpo) and line still very faint. maybe a bit darker than Friday but not that much more noticable. Not sure what this means (if anything). Should it have gotten a lot darker by now? Should I just keep testing each day to make sure? Feeling slightly paranoid as have no symptoms (other than late period). Went to a friend's BBQ yesterday and totally failed at not obviously drinking. One friend out and out asked me if I was pregnant (love her to bits but she has no tact and therefore no sense of whether it's appropriate to ask). and a male friend offered me a glass of sparkly which I turned down because I couldn't think of a way out - DP reckons he had noticed I wasn't drinking and did it on purpose to see Hmm most of my friends don't have kids so don't really know the social etiquette I guess...

Carrot don't be a crazy lady. Hold out till 11dpo if you can (says I who POAS at 9dpo).

birchy was there anything different about the way you temped today? Window open at night? sleeping better/worse? fx your temp goes back up tomorrow and stays up until you get your BFP Wink

KittyandTeal · 05/07/2015 20:20

Please can I join?

Age:33
Ttc dc3 (dd1 2.8yo, dd2 stillborn at 22 weeks T18)
Cd 9
I'll be testing (or not if af turns up 22nd July, 6 months after loosing dd2)
Cycle number 2

I have a pretty short cycle and opk have given me 2 flashing smilies today and yesterday so looking for a solid smiley tmrw.

I'm stupidly anxious about it all.

llammallamamissesmama · 05/07/2015 20:21

Looks good Sunshine, let us know how you feel over the next few days.

I'm a bfn. Bfn, bfn, bfn.

birchygoo · 05/07/2015 20:29

kitty welcome, I am glad you have joined us!

marmite I am afriad I have never got that far to know about colours of sticks? I guess if there is still a line though that is a good thing! I do hear people say wait a few days and it should get darker but maybe if it is still early on you need to just wait a few more days. ugh this TTC malarkey is all waiting waiting waiting and patience is not one of my strong points!

The really high reading the day before was more of things I had done differently - I slept later, got out of bed without taking temp to go to the loo. I also woke up in middle of night (TMI) soaked in sweat so had to strip down. Last night though was pretty normal, infact I was cold and had to wear extra clothes to bed. I slept well but woke up early and naturally which is unusual for me, normally am dragging myself out of bed on alarm. Had to go back to bed this afternoon for a snooze hehe and I am now getting weird jabbing pain in low abdomen Confused not af pain though something different. Am not reading to much into it as I did that last month and got a BFN and was devastated. I was just worried that this means AF will be coming tomorrow with a very short LP

CarrotVan · 05/07/2015 20:49

Welcome kitty. No shortage of anxious people here...

marmite I wouldn't test any more often than every 48 hours. Hcg doubles every 48 hours and if it's only 14 dpo now then it's reasonable to have a faint line. It should darken over then next week so maybe test on Wednesday and Saturday

BFN but no AF llama? Where are you at in your cycle? Could it still be too early? You're not out until AF...

Hi everyone
Congrats marmite lovely and sunshine such a positive start to the month (excuse the pun!)
I'm on CD11 and dtd today with more this week planned. No positive opk so far but probably best to just get going?!

Can you tell I'm annoying myself?! Lol

sunshinemeg · 05/07/2015 21:06

Hi kitty, welcome. I'm a newbie here too, everyone is fab! Sending positive vibes your way.

RalucaMorena · 05/07/2015 21:27

I'm cd8 and I'll stay testing for ov tomorrow. I have a feeling this month it will happen when dh is working the longest. :(

Welcome crunchy. I have really achy hips at the moment too. 'Your uterus is a funny shape' doesn't sound like a helpful comment!

OP posts:
birchygoo · 05/07/2015 23:48

carrot achy hips? Like where ovaries are achy or bones? Do you think it might be implantation? When are you planning on testing? My new test date because of a longer cycle is on the 12th ... I think I am still going to test on the 9th anyway.

Hi crunchy - hope you manage to get some more info - sounds like they have gave you enough info to make you worry but havent confirmed what it actually means so you could be worrying over nothing at all!

CarrotVan · 06/07/2015 08:02

The achy hips remind me of the pelvic girdle pain I had with my first which makes me think I'm making stuff up. I've had a busy few days in and out of the gardens and until we build a deck there's a big step into the garden from the patio door which might have done it. I might test once mrVan is out of the bathroom just because

Welcome whywait sorry you had such a rubbish experience but sounds like the holiday made up for it

KittyandTeal · 06/07/2015 08:11

Well my opk (clear blue digital thingies) gave me another flashing smile this morning. That's 3 in a row. What's up with that?

I did test early (I have a minute bladder so pee numerous times a night) I tested at around 2.30am as I knew I wouldn't have another 3 hour stint without peeing. Did I test too early?

In practical terms in doesn't make a huge deal, were still dtd every 2 days but I want to know when I ovulate.

CarrotVan · 06/07/2015 08:37

BFN but I think I'm testing way to early. FF thinks I'm due on Wednesday which would be a 26 day cycle, 12 day lp. I think I'm due on Friday.

Well I'm definitely out this month. DH has a fungal infection on his...bits (apparently from the boxers he wears running) which a. hurts him when we DTD and b. is definitely not a turn on. He's been given a cream, and we're waiting until next cycle to get back on the bus! Luckily my next ov date is when we'll be on our honeymoon Grin

CarrotVan · 06/07/2015 09:18

Bleurgh. You need that cleared up before the honeymoon! When's the wedding?

OP posts:
pingoose · 06/07/2015 09:25

Thankfully it's nearly cleared up carrot - it was mostly on the tops of his thighs and that's visibly gone. The wedding was in April, we had to put off the honeymoon to spend time with travelling family!

CarrotVan · 06/07/2015 09:27

Belated congratulations then

birchygoo · 06/07/2015 09:56

kitty I sometimes got 3 similes like that when I was using those sticks now using cbfm i get 4 high days then 2 peak followed by a high. I think the second peak and last high are all automatic though. It could be that you will go peak at sometime today

line up to tell me how silly I am.

8dpo today (although I think 9) and I poas this morning - BFN as you would expect - what was I playing at!!

3Princes99 · 06/07/2015 10:53

I'm with you birchy! I'm 7 maybe 8 dpo but have had several symptoms. Worked a night shift last night and just couldn't wait to get home and test! So not even fmu!!!! Hopefully it's out my system and I can wait till Friday now Wink

sunshinemeg · 06/07/2015 11:10

Don't give up those who have POAS early. It's not over until AF arrives!
Still no AF here so keeping fingers crossed. Hoping to test tomorrow and get a more definitive answer
