Feerouge there isn't any harm in testing now if you think you might be pregnant, they are generally quite accurate after AF is due!

llammallamamissesmama · 01/07/2015 07:32

Feerouge....test test test! Good luck fx

magpiedreams · 01/07/2015 07:48

Hope all works out ok pallas, thinking of you.
feerouge - take a test!!!

Fuba · 01/07/2015 07:57

Morning - can I join Grin

I'm 26 ttc no.1 (no.2 for DH) this is cycle 1 of concentrated trying ... However we have been seeing what's happens for the last year with no luck ... Finding my opks very confusing at the minute!

marmitemofo · 01/07/2015 08:15

wow feerouge you have more willpower than me! I'd deffo say test.

Had a few cramps yesterday and this morning so think AF is on its way. I really hate all the uncertainty. Kinda wish I just knew one way or another now. If AF doesn't show up today I'll be testing tomorrow morning when I should be 11dpo. Today is going to be looooong.

marmitemofo · 01/07/2015 08:16

also, hi fuba! . what are you finding confusing about your opks?

feerouge · 01/07/2015 08:46

But after seeing that others have had 4 days delay of AF i don't want to waste a pee stick just yet hahaha #stingy

feerouge · 01/07/2015 08:48

I have a tension feeling in the left side though i don't know if that's a sign of pregnancy - in all cases, will come back here once i've tested.... :D

magpiedreams · 01/07/2015 09:01

Fair enough Feerouge. But £1 in Asda or Pundland?!
Good luck, let us know!

Welcome fuba. Never used OPKs but lots here do so ask away.

pingoose · 01/07/2015 09:58

fuba I've also just started OPKs, so am just trying to figure them out! When will you be testing?
Good luck with testing feerouge!
Hope everything goes ok pallas

feerouge · 01/07/2015 11:22

I know - think i'm just getting influenced by DH who said dont get too excited too early :D

Welcome Fuba! Join the crazy wagon!

Fuba · 01/07/2015 12:51

Thanks for being so welcoming Grin ... So at the minute I'm just using Internet cheapies ... But the control line seems really lights ... Also do you know if they are affected by which wee of the day it is? Picture attached of 4 that I have done over the last 2 days ... Would you say the 2nd one is my peak? My cycles have been all over the place for the last year ranging from 64 days to 30 ... They seem to be getting a bit more regular now though...

marmitemofo · 01/07/2015 13:01

second one looks a little too light to me fuba, but I think you could have just missed your surge?

clementineclouds · 01/07/2015 13:20

Hi, can I join?

clementineclouds, age 38, ttc #1, cycle 1 with clomid (ttc for 14 months).

CD5 today, with my first follicle tracking scan on cd10.

not really sure how these bus's work (as I am new to mumsnet too)...any explanation, would be fab. Smile

Fuba · 01/07/2015 13:37

Hi Clementine Smile

Does your egg normally get realised 12-24 hours after your surge?

When is everyone POAS?

CarrotVan · 01/07/2015 16:33

Welcome fuba and clementine

Fuba - you should use afternoon wee for OPKs and first of the morning for pregnancy. The hormone for OPKs builds up during the day. The control line does seem light and I'm surprised to see the test line getting lighter on test 3 and then darker on test 4

clementine I've not been using the buses that long but they're basically an online support group with cheerleaders and shoulders to cry on. For lots of us I think it's difficult to talk about ttc in 'real life' so places like this where we're all in pretty much the same boat are useful. So post about whatever you want really - chit chat about things other than pregnancy tests and shagging is also welcome

feerouge that is some amazing willpower. More power to your elbow.

Fuba have a gander at the stats (link in the opening post and I've just added you) and you'll probably find some testing buddies

I've got until a week on Saturday based on my ovulation date.

CarrotVan · 01/07/2015 16:37

Bollocks - just realised that a) I'm posting like a loon and b) My test date is when the MIL is staying AND we've got a family gathering with 95% of my family. This is not ideal!

Wow Carrot that's a busy time for you thenGrin I'm testing on the 10th (The Friday) I'll be 11dpo so could test together?

VioletIbiza88 · 01/07/2015 17:11

Hi, I said to myself this month that I was going to try to post on the monthly bus a bit more, but find that pre ov I don't really have much to say. Well today I have something to say...

I think I may have had ovulation related pain this morning. Not noticed any before but it was like a stitch type pain in my right side, where I would imagine my ovary to be and it lasted for a few minutes. Was lying down doing nothing at the time so not exercising or anything to cause a stitch. It's CD14 today. Opk this afternoon was not quite as dark as the control line but not far off, could be related to drinking lots on this sunny day, so definitely going to dtd tonight and also another opk later on.

Princes it seems im a bit behind you this month, not testing till the 17th

PallasCat · 01/07/2015 17:53

Thank you for lovely supportiveness ladies Smile.
OH was really concerned about telling me because he knew I'd worry. And he won't want to tell anyone else is going on until we hear the results after his referral...so for now it's only you (except him) I can talk to about this... and hopefully only you I'll need to, if investigations show there's nothing to worry about... FlatWhiteToGo · 01/07/2015 17:55

Sounds like ovulation to me, VioletIbiza!

FlatWhiteToGo · 01/07/2015 17:56

Good luck Pallas - I've got everything crossed for you x

PallasCat · 01/07/2015 18:01

Definitely sounds like ov, Violet!

Thank you FlatWhite.

PallasCat · 01/07/2015 18:26

Double thank you FlatWhite for super sweet message on the June thread Smile.
Glad you're hanging with us on the July bus! When is your surgery?
