Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory, who wouldn't?)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

They don't have a support group near me unfortunately. I've spoken to them on the phone and they were helpful in the aftermath. I have been seeing a counsellor too. I went to see the GP about the pain I've been having - I had a lot of pain at ovulation but they weren't able to explain anything, and just the message is to keep trying. There's obviously no reason to refer me for any investigations as as far as they are concerned, I've 'only' had one miscarriage.

I'm just convinced that was my last egg. I go from being ok and upbeat to down in the dumps - there's no inbetween. I feel bad for how I'm handling it and feel like my grace period for being upset is over.

Thanks for the vagine new honey

Egog · 19/05/2015 20:51

Ooh, new Fred!

May this be the one that breaks all known records and we all get upduffed, every last one of us.

justtheonethen · 19/05/2015 21:00

Yes egog!

stoat there is no time limit on grief, try not to make yourself feel worse by not feeling how you think you should. You're doing great, just take each day as it comes. I'm sure it wasn't your last egg, that's very unlikely unless you're ancient. Hooyah for that (a gentle one with a cuddle)

jellypi3 · 19/05/2015 21:13

Evening all. Still no witch proper. The tiniest amounts of brown cm. but deffo got the cramps.

In good news, lost another 4 and half pound today! That's 9 pound in 2 weeks. Love it!

WouldRatherHaveWine · 19/05/2015 21:18

jelly you're not out til you're out! Hope she stays away.

Anyone have any tips for setting an iffy tummy? I feel a bit queasy and yuck every time I eat. Starting to feel rubbish too so think the bug from the nursery is getting me. Also had a message from them today to say chicken pox is doing the rounds :(

lildottie · 19/05/2015 21:20

Hmm so we don't need statsnow we have the sheet! Not read new thread yet but for old...

Sarah 38dsys is fine so soon after stopping bcp. My 3rd post pill cycle was 79 days including a 7week AF and drs weren't bothered one bit. My cycles still range from 28-39 days and fertility clinic don't have an issue with that. I have ovulated every month since that epic AF temping tells me so so irregular cycles aren't necessarily a sign of a problem. Lots of things can delay ovulation, including post bcp hormones being a bit screwy, and stress.

jelly noooo! Was really hopeful for you.

stoat hope you get some answers. It seems you are still really struggling to move past the mc, have you been on any of the mc boards for support?

country also I wouldn't worry about cycle length, as long as you are ovulating it doesn't matter. And also a big hooyah for worrying about it when you don't even know if it will be a 21 day cycle yet!

Off to read all the new thread now!

honeysucklejasmine · 19/05/2015 21:21

Wine peppermint tea. Smile

Jelly IB??

Just here

justtheonethen · 19/05/2015 21:26

wine flat full fat coke. It will sort you right out, also recently discovered peppermint tablets which are magic. Feel better soon

jelly not out til you're out. Doesn't yours normally start proper by now?

Thanks honey

janey15 · 19/05/2015 21:47

News from my vagina: spotting has stopped for the time being but feel vaguely cramps and skin down there is sore- does anyone else get this? Probably just me!

jelly fantastic weightloss! My wedding dress is really tight at the moment and I just are a dairy milk in bed

sarah I didn't have a proper period for months after stopping the pill. Also got horrendous skin but that's a different story.

Was it ain that said they're a teacher? Snap! My 'parents' keep bringing in babies to see me and it's really depressing.

Righteo, need my beauty sleep!

justtheonethen · 19/05/2015 21:53

Ditto janey my 'parents' keep bringing their bloody offspring in to show me! Teacher too!

stoatystoat · 19/05/2015 21:53

A bit lil but not for a while, I find it quite hard when people are talking about the mechanics of their miscarriages as I can't bring myself to think about them, I'm quite traumatised about the physical side of it all so can't read about them...I know what the cure is, just need to get pregnant again so I can have a shit ton of other anxieties instead of this one!

jelly hope your witch stays the fuck away. It is such a headfuck. I wished mine had just come proper on Friday rather than given me special preview screenings!

wine boiled water or peppermint tea for me

sarah1391 · 19/05/2015 22:02

I need to read back but thought i'd give a quick update. Just PIAC (a cup!), frer and everything...BFN. Wtf? Its cd40 ffs!

pretzelpieces · 19/05/2015 22:13

Oh sarah that's disappointing Flowers

SockQueen · 19/05/2015 22:14

Sarah - it's probably due to "settling down" after the pill. I stopped taking it 10 months ago now and my cycle is still fucked. Though this may be down to me rather than the pill.

ManAliveThisThingsFantastic · 19/05/2015 22:19

Excellent thread!

I have been trying with my partner for around 8 months now. Just having regular, unprotected sex if I'm honest alongside watching what I eat and drink!

I'm not ready to enter the complicated world of temping, charting or any other cuntraband-ness!

I have previously suffered from Pelvic Inflammatory Disease so I do fear my fertility has been compromised but I am yet to visit a healthcare professional to confirm this.

Just looking for some support, maybe a place to let my thoughts out and support those around me!

justtheonethen · 19/05/2015 22:23

manalive you're in the right place! Welcome!

sarah that's v disappointing, sorry love Sad is prob due to coming off pill, it can take a while to settle

justtheonethen · 19/05/2015 22:26

Also add yourself to the stats page manalive so we know your age etc how many pets you have

ManAliveThisThingsFantastic · 19/05/2015 22:28

Added (and 1 cat!)

jellypi3 · 19/05/2015 22:30

Welcome to the mad house manalive :)

I just tried so hard to squeeze AF out I farted in the bath...

sarah1391 · 19/05/2015 22:31

Thanks pretzel sock just. I'm not really sure what to do, should i go to the doctors and be like 'my cycle is fucked up'?

hi manalive :)

Also, how do i add stats? Can someone do it for me? pretty please, i'm useless with technology

Ain626 · 19/05/2015 22:40

Janey I am a teacher (and also get visited by small people). If anyone I know reads this I'm probably outed anyway (really hope not...), so... I have the nursery classes this year. We do home visits before the kids start. I have done home visits for kids whose mums have had bumps and they now have these actual little people that come with them to drop off the other kids to school...

My role play area is currently a pediatricians (or 'baby doctors') and we have several baby dolls in there. Been putting nappies on them all day...

Hello ManAlive welcome to the JS'ers! Sounds like you've found the right place! we never use cuntraband, honest...

honey knew you did Brownies, but didn't know you were a DC too! I admire anyone that takes on that role! I am (sort of) in contact with my local DC, but I only have her email address and she seems to take weeks at a time to reply to each email.

Ain626 · 19/05/2015 22:43

Sarah I added in a line for you, but you should be able to just click on the link at the bottom of the opening post to edit it...

sarah1391 · 19/05/2015 22:51

Thanks ain seems to be letting me see it but not edit it on my phone my phone is a piece of shit cant wait for an upgrade. I'll manage to get it done at work tomorrow :)

justtheonethen · 19/05/2015 22:54

How long you been off pill sarah?

jelly Grin you do make me laugh!

janey15 · 19/05/2015 22:56
