I just tested once a day. Really couldn't get my head around the ov testing so couldn't bear it to do more than that.

Feeling ok now but had a wobble yesterday after symptoms really kicked in sickness/ bloated etc. have been warned that may happen due to double eggs (double the symptoms) rather than a miracle happening.

Time is going ok as keeping busy. Have my Pom poms for those ttc this month!

Kazz2112 · 25/05/2015 22:05

Good luck for Friday Girlie. will be thinking of you xx

philippa88 · 26/05/2015 08:17

Hi Claire. The cycle we got pregnant, we went crazy!! Before the smiley we were DTD every other day, once the smiley arrived, we went at it twice a day! Morning and night lol, it was tiring setting the alarm extra early so we could get a cheeky hump in before work, but it worked!!
I'm 5+3 normally but am 4+5 by the hospitals workings out. I prefer to think of it as 5+3 though :) 6 weeks is our next goal, step by step!
X

clairemorgan81 · 26/05/2015 08:56

gosh hats off to you ladies that manage twice a day!! Wink we struggle to fit in once a day lol!x

Kazz2112 · 26/05/2015 09:49

I've just arrived in Barcelona. Hubby just asked if he can have a beer when we get to the centre! Not until you've done your job I said! I don't want any spermies that are under the influence! They need to be able to swim straight!!!! Grin

Joy2713 · 26/05/2015 16:22

So had my 8 week scan today! And there was 2 sacks, 2 babies and 2 heartbeats! Measuring about 1 week behind so got anther scan next week to make sure everything is alright xxx

SushieS · 26/05/2015 19:52

Hello all... Just been reading through this discussion as considering starting the trial on Monday. Currently on my 5th miscarriage, (happened Monday after seeing a heartbeat at approx 9 weeks) am 37 and live in Leamington. I joined up previously but was 3 weeks pregnant when I got the call back and had started acupuncture so thought I would give that a try instead.
I've never posted on a discussion, always watched from afar...but after speaking to Debbie at Coventry hospital (she's lovely) and reading all the positive comments on here I thought it would be good to get your feedback and comments on the trial. As I said, I've never posted, so apologies if waffling or if I've said too much, also have no clue on all the pregnancy abbreviations, so please bare with me!! xx

philippa88 · 26/05/2015 20:06

Welcome sushie!! Sorry to hear you're joining us for all the wrong reasons :(
There's loads of support on this thread and all us girls know how difficult ttc and pregnancy can be.
I'm currently 5+3 on the trial and the furthest I've ever got is 5+4, so once tmrw is over I will breathe a sigh of relief!! The injections are what I believe are keeping me pregnany, all the previous 4 seem to have been very weak, but this one is quite the opposite!
Joy I love that scan photo, you're one lucky lady! Xx

LouiseM1987 · 26/05/2015 20:31

Hi sushie Sorry you are here :(
I'm currently just over 8 weeks (I'm not day counting as I don't want to think about it too much) but I'll be 9 weeks on Thursday according to the trial.
I'm from Coventry so I Know D and L and can honestly say they are the best !!
I would recommend the trial personally as like Philippa said I believe the the injections are what has made me stay pregnant. I've got to 10 weeks before but it died at 6 weeks and last week I measured a few days behind so I am further than I ever have been. I am also having acupuncture in leamington on a Wednesday evening :)

girliesaints · 26/05/2015 20:45

Welcome Sushi. I would echo positive words of the other ladies but also to add in my case it's looking like it won't end in a successful pregnancy however the additional support I've had and hopefully continue with afterwards, means it's been worth it for me.

clairemorgan81 · 26/05/2015 20:56

welcome sushie sorry you find yourself here. I'm currently ttc after 3 miscarriages last year the last one being end of Dec. support is great and we all know what a tough time it is, lots of positivity with ladies being pregnant. for me the extra scans and support is why I think it's worthwhile. Hope you join up and get your bfp whenever your ready xx

SushieS · 26/05/2015 21:01

Hi Philippa and Louise, thanks for the welcomes Smile
It's great to know that this trial is working for you.
I bizarrely feel a lot more positive for coming on to the discussion and considering joining the trial...finally feel I'm giving the useless doctors at my surgery a big twos up!!
Louise, I think I have spoken with Sharon about you as told her about the trial and she mentioned someone joining new that was on it...Just wish I'd joined when I had the call back...oh well. Were you running late on your first session? If so I was there with needles in my ears, forehead, back, feet and top of head!!! Shock I'm going tomorrow too as I do think it helps stay positive.

Has anyone experienced any side affects?
Suzy xx

SushieS · 26/05/2015 21:07

Thanks Girlie and Claire.
Really hope everything stays positive for you Girlie...totally agree about the support though, one phone call with Debbie today helped ease all the heartache and frustration I've experienced over the last 3 years. It's great to know there are people out there that want to help.xx

LouiseM1987 · 26/05/2015 21:23

Ah suzy how spooky yes I was running late for my first session 4 weeks ago ha. I'm always late. She's lovely too. :) small world ! Yes I'm there tomorrow no doubt I'll be late again again ! The only thing I get with the injections is a pain when I inject but I think it's because it's so cold so I leave it out for 15 minutes before I do it now and it's absolutely fine.
The support is amazing ! And all the women in Coventry are lovely and really wish successful pregnancies for us all I think they suffer with all the pain and anxiety we have. Xx

SushieS · 26/05/2015 21:57

Haha! I'm never there the time I'm meant to be either! Thank god she's so chilled.
Thanks for the tip, I'm hoping the acupuncture has prepared me for the injections!! Xx

Indiedog · 26/05/2015 22:45

Oh joy, that's amazing news. Congratulations. You must be on cloud nine!

Indiedog · 26/05/2015 22:53

Hi Suzy, welcome to the thread, but sorry I've had to find yourself here.
It's been a great place for support, to sound off, and quiz others what's going on!
It has helped me realise that I'm not a wally for feeling all over the place, and that my anxieties change as times goes on!

I took my last injection yesterday! So today is my first day without one! Its been on my mind, but as I have always said, I take it in stages, so this week is day by day.

Marchgirl · 27/05/2015 06:18

Welcome sushi, hope you find lots of support here as you go through your next pg. It's a great group. I'm dying to know who is on the drug! As you probably already read if you've read back, I'm now off the trial as I've had results back from nk cells testing which show i need treatment (not compatible with the trial), but this group are such a lovely bunch that I'm hanging around (plus if the treatment doesn't work I'll go back to the trial). Best of luck. Hope you're getting good support IRL for your most recent loss Flowers
