MissMartin no not the norm at all although some women's periods do start that way, but shouldn't be very much.

Sammy, I read a book with loads of pregnancy stats in it & apparently if you dtd in the run up to ov you're more likely to conceive a girl; if you dtd bang on ov or just after it's more likely to be a boy! Smile

I haven't got any FRER's but plenty of cheap dip strips and midstream tests stashed away ready for early testing! Blush

Meant to be going for cocktails tomorrow. Will test in morning. If BFN do you think I can let myself have a drink or two?

Actually think it all hangs on what my temp does, usually plummets day before AF, so we'll see.

So AF arrived. If we still do stars I have new ones: #### HairstylistoBoris, 36, ttc# 1, cycle 11, bfp due May 13th. ##### my bfp is due exactly one year after I quit birth control. I don't count the first few cycles in my ttc stats as really trying, they were more hoping to fall pregnant without effort....

Have enormous hurty spot. Ugh. I used to have terrible skin but has been fairly clear the last few years, I hate pimples esp the big lumpy ones!!

Back again! Today is CD15/32. I should OV this weekend so we're back on the sex wagon.

too much time has passed for me to go all the way back. The one I do know, fingers crossed for Sparkly (to the person who asked, she's had some bleeding but still positive and getting darker on HPT but doc is making her wait until this coming Friday I believe).

On a personal note, I've heard a rumour my estranged (and nasty piece of work) sibling is pregnant. I haven't hard confirmation either way and I found out through a friend, who was told by her sister, who was told by estranged siblings friend.. who I don't really trust (though they'd have no reason to lie to me about this particular thing as don't know we're trying). I've been pretty bothered by it and would like confirmation either way but refuse to ask her or the only other reliable source of information. I've narrowed down the reasons why it's bothering me but wont get into them here. Suffice it to say, it's my first situation like this and I have a larger understanding of how hearing of other people's good luck bothers those of us who have been trying for a while (and I'm only 4 months in!)

I think it's so much harder when family or very close friends announce they are pregnant and you've been trying babybump. Even when you haven't been trying but feeling broody and it's just not the right time!!

Fingers crossed the sex wagon has a good gps and you arrive at your bfp this cycle x
