parsnip I feel a bit like that too, think cos I missed Dtd on one of my peak days and just been super busy and stressed with work the past couple of weeks!

Not much going on this evening, need to do a bit of packing as we're away for the weekend with the in laws

It's an awful feeling when you think you're out but there's every chance it'll be a bfp and I hope it is for everyone due to test over the weekend

Woolly I also missed dtd on one of my peak days! I was so excited this month as I got one day of egg white 2 days before o, which I never normally get. DTD that day, but I feel that was too early to have done much.

Was just reading how to take charge of your fertility (as one does of an evening) and she was talking about opks being unreliable. She said you should only get a strong positive on one day otherwise a surge of several days points to the body gearing up to o but not actually doing it. Not to scare anyone, just a warning in case anyone is 100% relying on them...I don't trust the buggers!

Oh boris so sorry I just read your bfn news! you are not out til the witch is here, my sister was six days late before she got a faint positive with my nephew!

parsnip yes I've read that somewhere too, OPKs are definitely useful, but I think regular Dtd is definitely the key!

Parsnip - I'm wondering if I didn't ov... By bbt hasn't gone up yet and I had 3 days of positive tests! All will be revealed tomorrow I guess. If my temp remains low I'll know I didn't.
The lady at the scan said she thought I had though. Yesterday. But she must have been wrong. Xx

Sammy well I would go by what the professionals say, I am only a layman here :)

Do you know if you O'd last month?

I literally never get a positive opk. I sometimes get a fairly strong line but it's never as dark as the control.

It's so annoying as we can think we o due to CM or OPK but unfortunately you can have fertile cm and a positive OPK and still not ovulate...temps are the only things that tell you for certain.

I just dtd when I have fertile cm and hope for the best!

I've just got in bed ive been feeling quite sickly this morning and evening. . and af type feelings of cramps nd boobs ect 5 days to go before af! think ill try that tempting thing next cycle if i dont get bfp. ..

Sorry to hear you don't feel it's your month either pinsnip and woolly - only takes once or twice though as chops proved.

How exciting, poas party on the 30th yes please carrot and woolly. My first ever! sammy you should be due around then too right? I hop[e you get a temp rise. It's true that it's more reliable than opks but also, that a lot of factors can affect your temp (illness/time etc etc).

well my temp has not risen anywhere near as high as last month post ov but FF has put in my crosshairs! Woohoo. She (obvs a lady) thinks I ov'd on the 14th, making me 3dpo today.

All fingers crossed missMartin - sickly with cramps is a good sign!

I have been accepted onto the CB trial next month so if I don't get my bfp this month I'll start that. You have to poas every day & keep all the urine samples in the fridge... (Ewwww!)

Here's mine, let's have a chart fest. I'm only warm because I'm fanjo temping, orally I'm only 36.5 at the most post ov.

coffee My last few cycles have been 23 days, but just before christmas it was 26 days. I've used OV sticks once out of curiosity, and it looks like I OV'd 2 days later than my period tracker app thought I would.

Too tired to DTD last night but DH might have to watch out later!
