Boris some people do get the squits before a bfp not sure about losing the voice but some also get run down. It's so hard not to symptom spot isn't it? I hope it's a bfp for you and for everyone else due to poas in the next few days.

hmm I had a huge dip down to cover-line at 7DPO last cycle and was bfn.

Yes coffee that's what I mean, temps are not a very good indicator at this stage.

To be fair mine is a v small dip rather than a massive one :)

I'm about to send off my Clearblue clinical trial consent because signing up for something that will help predict ovulation will surely mean that this cycle worked and I won't need it. That logic is totally straight forward isn't it?

Sorry didn't mean to be a downer!! I read at the time that it was due to different hormones decreasing/increasing. I don't know!

Morning all! Trying to catch up now I finally have some down time!

Hope everyone is well! I've got one more shift tonight before I'm off for 13 days . So excited because DP is off with me for the latter end of next week which is where my window should start. We've got a couple of nice romantic days out planned which should get us in the mood. Unfortunately we'll have his kids staying over on ov day and he can be a bit squeamish sometimes about dtd with his kids in the next room so I'll have to come up with a plan of some sorts (kids, why don't you go and play over at the neighbours )

Regarding temp dip in the middle of LP, I've also seen this lots on charts and also had one myself on cd9 which got me very excited but no bfp....no idea why this happens but I'm not convinced it means implantation tbh.

boris losing your voice is surely a symptom? How are you feeling otherwise?

Yay for annual leave dizzy and I'm sure you will get around it with the kids. Enjoy your well deserved time off. I'm temping too and I keep falling asleep again with the thermometer in my mouth and have to do it again I just hope I'm doing it right! I ordered the book taking charge of your fertility and a babymad thermometer from amazon and they should arrive today. I don't like the one I have because it doesn't record the temp so I have to make a note of it immediately.

I am well thank you Dizzy :) Getting ready for a very busy weekend of moving house! Temping is going well, now have three days worth of temps. My body is managing to wake me up at 5 each morning without an alarm which is great :)

boris so many people on here mention being run down right before their bfp! When are you due to test? Fx for you! We usually put a movie on for the kids in the afternoons anyway so that we can get some time out, only problem is that they often come wandering in and out of the bedroom....one of the drawbacks of being in a flat, there's no advanced warning of someone coming up the stairs!

night that's great you're getting on well so far with temping, it's by far the best way to get to know your cycles, I've learned so much already. I bet you're well excited for the house move! I hope it all goes smoothly for you!

dizzym my new thermometer takes ages & I've also been falling asleep waiting for it to beep! Mine doesn't save the temp either but so far it's working so much better than my old one. I'm a bit worried now though, DP had moved my thermometer this morning and put it on top of my mobile phone....I know phones can do funny things because of their electronic radiation, like wiping Oyster cards etc....so I'm now worried the phone might have damaged my thermometer! Probably being paranoid but I just wanted to see a proper chart showing ov this month after last months dodgy one because of my old thermometer being faulty

My body runs like clockwork eCh month I get a positive OPK at 4 pm on CD10, my CM changes from frmertile to infertile 3 days later. Either in the afternoon of CD 23 or Cd 24 AF arrives - it alternates monthly which day. I'm expectingAF at about 4 pm on Friday. I just wish I knew with such precision how to catch the egg....

night I know you were worried about your LP but I do envy you being able to ttc so soon after AF. I have to wait until cd15 before there's any point beginning to try! I hope the temping gives you some answers about your LP though, I've seen a few charts lately that have had short cycles but they show very early ov and a normal length LP (one 24 day cycle with an 12 day LP so they do exist!)

Resident fertility expert? Moi? Pah!!! I shall try my best to pass on what I learn. Should be interesting though because I don't know a thing about temping and discharge and fertility and...best stop there before I get booted off the bus!

wow boris!! And yes - fingers crossed night that your cycle is similar! They are a similar length, no reason to think that you might not ov early is there?

My friend is flying over this weekend and wants me to head out for cocktails on sat night. Don't really want to tell her we are ttc (told too many people as it is, early on in the yr). Think I can get away with just one? Is one too many do you think?!
