Halfway through my TWW and looking for company. Anyone in the same boat?

I've still got about a week to go before I can POAS. DH and I have been trying for about 5 months, but I have very irregular cycles so it's all really hard to judge. I usually go about 2 weeks between periods so following that, AF should be due to arrive before the end of this week. But I'm thinking that would be too early to test and am very impatient! I've also been taking agnus castus this month on the advice of a medical friend so I'm feeling tentatively hopeful. Anyone around who wants to wait it out with me and not read too much into every symptom and definitely not take a test every day this week?

Morning all. Think I feel very fpolish now!! Been read all the analysis data on ff earlier this morning in bed (dp was snoring his head off next to me!) and noticed that, according to their inyerpretation of my temping data, I didn't ov until d22 so missed it completely with d21 bloods - which also means we were dtd at completely the wrong time in my cycle. Am desperately not trying to build my hopes up but am clinging onto the fact that the blood test was wrong because we tested too early!!

I have had some cramping, sore nipples and bloating but these are all symptoms I get the week before a period so it could go either way! I have a feeling I am not pregnant because my cm has dried up but i still hope I am. We didn't dtd as much as I would have liked either as DP works away for 3 days at a time!
I am only cycle 2 but this is driving me insane

remember - that makes perfect sense to me - if you ovulated after your test then that's why it didn't show it. Temping is supposed to be very accurate . sounds good to me! How many days past ovulation are you now?
greyhorses - I'm keeping fingers crossed for you! I know what you mean about the insanity - I am on cycle 11 now and quite simply crazy

Another bfn here. I'm going to ring the doctors tomorrow and try to get a blood test. This is getting ridiculous now...

I caved and tested this morning (4 days until
I am due) but got a BFN. Try not to be too disappointed but I don't think this will be our month. I still have symptoms (tender breasts, gas and plenty of CF) but not confident x

red - sorry for your bfn too, it's crap when you get them. You might still be too early though, you're not out yet, keep feeling positive x

Thanks Diamond. I'm trying to be positive. Will see what happens at the end of the week. Can anyone make a recommendation to get rid of award taste in your mouth? I can't even describe what it tastes like. Just that it is horrible!

Nope. This sounds ridiculous but it feels like a cross between being dehydrated and delirious because you have been woken up suddenly. I realise that makes no sense at all but if anyone can think of that feeling when they are women and their mouth is dry and you're not sure where you are. I must sound like a right loon x

Lol, you don't sound like a loon (much ) ! It does sounds strange though, hope you feel better soon and you get your bfp too! X

red, that makes sense - I had it when I was pg before. It drove my cravings, so treat it as such and eat or drink whatever helps. For me, salty or sweet food, nothing bland. Also try a strong tasting toothpaste and mouth wash. It sounds exciting for you red, don't give up yet.

Hi Diamond, according to FF I'm 10dpo today. Did a £shop cheapie test this afternoon but bfn - tjough it is a 20iu/ml test so not that sensitive. If I'm honest I don't think I am this month as there's nothing except a v long cycle to suggest I am. FF also reckons I shouldn't poas until 3rd June!!

Hi Haquoi, holiday going great thanks. Sat in pub overlooking Looe Harbour right now. Going evening/night fishing tonight with dp's younger brother and his wife tonight - we'll be drinking and fishing then cooking our catch late this evening.

Hi haquoi - I'm doing okay thank you. Started SMEP and on cycle day 10 and dtd today,not yesterday and dtd day 8, still no positive ovulation test yet. Feels strange to do it only every other day as we tend to both panic and think we should do it every day mid cycle but then that hasn't worked so far so this has to be worth a go! Also I still haven't quite finished af, still spotting so feel like my body is broken and what's the point , af should not be going on this long. Sorry for rambling! How are you doing? Are you ringing doctor tomorrow?
Hi remember sorry for the bfn but it is early still, that's seems ages to wait til 3rd June! I do wonder about these apps sometimes, I've got 2, put the same data in both and they both give me different dates!

diamond, this is the month for bodies doing strange things! Sorry to hear AF is getting you down still, but I don't think it'll effect fertility for this month though, I don't see any reason why it would. Maybe the reflexology is doing something good for your hormones, balancing, but you know how things get worse before getting better? (what I'm hoping for me anyway). Yeah, going to ring the gp tomorrow morning - it'll be day 10 days late tomorrow, with no spotting at all and shed loads of ewcm still. So annoying. I have a good vibe about next cycle as well, I've just got to get there!

Also, ladies, she - oak. I feel so calm after taking it and then over the weekend I stopped because of the camping and I started to feel antsy again. Do it!

remember, all my fertility apps do that as well - clue keeps saying I'm due in 2 days, ff says nothing and period tracker is the only one I trust

you are just a little behind me on smep. I'm cd16 and got my peak this morning. got a busy few days ahead!! I really hope this is were I have previously been going wrong as I use to do bd when I got peak day and then relaxed after that. so maybe I have always just been missing it. fx

I have AF like that sometimes diamond were it just seems ages to clear away. you are not alone and your body is not broken xx

Yey for the peak! I got another blank this morning but expected as only cd11, yes I'm just a few days behind you on smep and tonight is our night off! Yes it sounds like you have been missing it so fingers crossed you've got it covered this month! Hope you had a lovely time in Cornwall.

Morning everyone. Hope you were all able to relax over the bank holiday. I had a full house of family so I'm ready for another day off now!! Was lovely though. I got my smiley ov on Friday morning so think I ovulated Friday night or Saturday-we followed the SMEP perfectly except we didn't bd on Sunday as we are both exhausted!!! 9 times in 11 days is above average for us and we're enjoying a two day break! But ewcm had stopped by Sunday anyway so pretty sure ov happened fri or sat. So now the long tww begins again with today as 3dpo. af due fri 5th and I'll try to hold off testing til at least next weds but I'll try for fri. I'm not very patient though!
Diamond, don't worry. Some af longer and more painful than others. I don't think it means too much. And haquoi, hoping for a bfp from blood tests. Perhaps just isn't showing in urine? Or else hoping af just ruddy shows up so you can do SMEP-I am feeling hopeful for us all-I feel more organised this time having a plan. I like a good plan!!

Anyone any good at reading charts. I said this morning I was going to ignore but had been playing on my mind.

Is my temp readings just so bad that you can't make head nor tail of this... (My initial thoughts)

I had my peak reading yesterday so should my temp hve spiked above other temps I recorded if I did ovulate? Or is it still to early to tell what is going on?

Sounds like you've done a great job of smep- well done! Let's hope we get our smep bfps! I like a good plan too - I'm a bit of a control freak so this helps that side of me
haquoi - what did your doctor say? Are you having a blood test?
birchy - I'm afraid I don't temp so have no idea unfortunately- if you had your peak reading I think it can take up to 2 days following that to ovulate so maybe still too early? Sorry, I don't know much about it though

red - not long to wait then! Are you testing before Friday?

birchy, diamond & hewy, sounds like your smeps are going really well! I'm jealous, just want to get started again. I went to the GP today and she basically said wait another two weeks before coming back. Unfortunately for her, she was also the GP who told me not to worry, that I was young and could always have another baby just after DS died, so neither DH or I were happy bunnies coming out of that appointment. What a waste of time and she just didn't know how to deal with us. Lots of angry crying followed, (not in there, I didn't trust her with my emtotions). She said that 10 days was too early to find out! Contradicts everything I've ever read, so effing unhelpful.
