Yes, we know all about how emotional and hard it can be! All the pros and cons, all about missing Aunty Flo's and wtf cycles with no ovulation, all about children being cute and pointy. No matter if you are five months or twenty months down the breastfeeding timeline, if you're ttc again, this is the thread to join! Welcome! Easter Smile

congratulations Duchess!!

MrsMoo3 · 12/04/2015 08:47

Thank you for the welcome! So should I start doing temps or just try and relax and see if AF arrives?

Congratulations duchess, lovely to see someone get their BFP!! Smile

zoobaby · 12/04/2015 09:55

Hello everyone. Think this is the 3rd or 4th sequel of the threads I used to regularly post on (I recognise pear's name).

Just wanted to say hi and to encourage everyone to keep going. It's absolutely worth the time, effort, disappointment and final BFP happiness that you're all going through right now.

Currently sitting here BFing my 9-day old DD! I BFed DS for 2 years, stopping at pregnancy, and would you believe it's been incredibly easy to re-start BF. Milk came in quickly and nipples only sore for 2 days. I bought 2 tubes of lansinoh but doubt I'll even use that. I also think that nipples have "remembered" what shape to adopt as I hardly need to help DD to attach at all. I'm simply amazed!

Anyway, good luck everyone!

Droflove · 12/04/2015 10:44

Fab news Duchess! Very exciting!

I still check back here almost daily to see how you are all getting on so have my fingers totally crossed for you all as the month progresses. Xoxo

MarysPrayer · 12/04/2015 11:20

Aw, that's lovely zoo, congratulations. xx

How're you doing dro?

MarysPrayer · 12/04/2015 11:41

Welcome mrsmoo. Smile Hopefully af will return soon now you've stopped the nightfeeds.

Leamice · 12/04/2015 12:04

Hi Mistletoe and Mrs Moo, I managed to miss a whole page lol.

Meggy, that will be brilliant if you managed to catch that first egg.

Congratulations on your new arrival Zoo, nice to hear successes and also good news that breastfeeding is going well, I really struggled getting started with my DS, I was wondering if I'd have to go through all that pain again.

Duchess007 · 12/04/2015 12:18

Thanks again guys. Smile

Congratulations Zoo, how fantastic to hear that bf is going so well for you with your new DD!

How are you Dro? How's everything going?

Mumof1sofar · 12/04/2015 13:30

That's so lovely zoo, congrats on the birth of your dc Smile

4dpo now & absolutely no symptoms. How's everyone else? Who's testing next?

MarysPrayer · 12/04/2015 13:40

Mumo I'm (roughly) 1 dpo so we can keep each other sane during the tww. AF due around 26th, how about you?

Mumof1sofar · 12/04/2015 15:39

Mary, I would say my af is due on 22nd, only because that's 14 days after ovulation.

auxiliaryauroch · 12/04/2015 16:20

Smile zoo

AvaAmulet · 12/04/2015 16:59

Hi newbies and welcome Smile

MrsMoo I knew I'd ovulated for sure last cycle as my positive opk was followed by a dip in temperature the next day, then a rise in temperature the day after that. Not everyone gets an ovulation dip, but you will get a rise in temps following ovulation Wink

Thanks for the update, Zoo! Grin My DD will be 2 at the end of the month and we're still bf'ing a few times a day, to sleep most nights, and maybe once during the night as well. Can I ask how often you were feeding your lo when you got your bfp please?

RosieRue52 · 12/04/2015 19:01

That's amazing zoo, thank you for the encouragement. Hope everyone's had a lovely weekend. DS is walking now so we've been chasing him around a park! I think it was easier when we carried him everywhere!!

I can't believe I'm going to skip AF all together!

Ds nurses 1st thing in the am for 20 min.
Comfort nurses to sleep for am nap (10 min.)
And then for his pm nap 15-20 min.
He eats food between all nursing sessions
& does get a bottle of formula before bed
(we started that about a month ago)
