Yes, we know all about how emotional and hard it can be! All the pros and cons, all about missing Aunty Flo's and wtf cycles with no ovulation, all about children being cute and pointy. No matter if you are five months or twenty months down the breastfeeding timeline, if you're ttc again, this is the thread to join! Welcome! Easter Smile

Been meaning to ask, does anyone else find their supply drops away hugely after ovulation? I do every month and so frustrating! Milk was pouring out last weds, then Thurs almost nothing! Comes back on d 1or 2 of AF (only good thing about the witch Wink )
Is it a cbfm you have pear? I've been thinking about buying one but don't know if I can afford the sticks! Is it worth it?

Onecurrantbun · 09/04/2015 13:33

eggs I found my supply dropped during AF and littlun became fussy. Not sure if I've ov'd yet so can't comment on that!

DH and I have decided to give it a few months before we try again. DD1 would only just be 4 when bubs arrived if I fell pregnant now and DD2 just turned 2 - think I'd like a couple of months off reproducing / feeding so we've decided to start NTNP that's what he thinks from summer. Also I have a bridesmaids dress for September and can't imagine I'll carry neatly ....... so I'll just lurk for a while if that's ok.

droflove congratulations! 3 under 3! You lucky crazy thing

auxiliaryauroch · 09/04/2015 13:36

eggs noooooo! Flowers

Egog · 09/04/2015 14:36

Hi all!
Had my implant out a week ago today and no AF/ withdrawal bleed yet... Anyone know if this is normal?
I've also replaced the midnight BF with Hipp Organic in the hopes that it might help.

Good luck to all waiting!

Leamice · 09/04/2015 17:53

8dpo is a good day for implantation spotting eggs! fingers crossed

Mumo, My ds is the same with increasing the amount he wants to feed, its like he knows Ive upped my efforts to conceive and he wants to ensure he's an only child lol!!

So I'm now on cd 103! my opk today looks like its getting darker I'm going to take another one later... so maybe i didn't ov before and my body is trying to now! Confused

auxiliaryauroch · 09/04/2015 18:14

leam my opk lines get darker and wane and darker and wane but the positive has been totally unmistakable. Smile Fwiw.

Mumof1sofar · 09/04/2015 19:45

Evening all!

Lea it sounds ridiculous but that's what I think about my dd! It's like she knows!

Ok so I got my fixed smiley 2 days ago... Does that mean I'm now 2dpo? We dtd yesterday & today just to make sure but... Tmi... Today it accidentally came out at the crucial moment so seems like a bit of a waste of time! Hopefully we've done enough this month! Fingers crossed Smile

Who's testing next? Smile

auxiliaryauroch · 09/04/2015 20:01

mumo remember the opk tests for the surge of LH. You will only ovulate 12-48 hours after that surge, so continue DTD!

Mumof1sofar · 09/04/2015 20:43

Thanks aux. I got the fixed smiley on Tues & dtd Tues, Weds & today... Should I do it again tmrw??

ispyfispi · 09/04/2015 22:40

Haha Mumo, get off mn and get busy!

auxiliaryauroch · 10/04/2015 05:13

I'd try it anyway! Take the safe route and assume you have a very late/slow ovulation!

peardrop2 · 10/04/2015 07:46

Right, cd9 and my CBFM is now asking for sticks. Woops...should have brought them earlier Blush OK well it is what it is. I've now brought them and promised myself that I will actually believe them this cycle and chill out. No double guessing, no what ifs. If it says high then I shall DTD if it says low then I shall not DtD. Very simple rules to follow. Not allowing myself to worry over Ttc this month. One way or other I will get a 2016 baby. Now I just have to listen to my own advice Wink

Eggsnbeans - yes I have a CbFM. Would i recommend it? Hmm probably not no. I mean it's brilliant but CLearblue strongly state that you're meant to wait 2 cycles after you finish breastfeeding before using any of their products. However, I brought it when I had DS. I couldn't even use it as AF never returned after coming off the pill. I think if I was you I would A) sign up to be a Clearblue tester on their website and get products for FREE or B) Buy the ones on offer at Boots...the smiley sticks. I've also seen them for £15 on Amazon.

auxiliaryauroch · 10/04/2015 08:42

pear yes. Second guessing is the Devils work. Confused

eggsnbeans · 10/04/2015 09:12

Angry def full on AF here. And I am mega crabby too Wink ahh well I didn't really want to be due at Christmas anyway!

Thanks pear, might not be right for me quite yet then! Ov sticks it is then. Good mantra though, I will have a 2016 baby Grin

Sounds like plenty of DTD to me mumo. Hope you are relaxing now!

hope everyone has had a good day, been lovely weather here Smile

So I'm now on cd104, my opk earlier was quite dark so probably didn't Ov 2 weeks ago like I thought but oh well... maybe i'll finally Ov soon or just get AF, Id actually settle for AF as a sign of normality returning!

Also loving the 2016 baby mantra!

MarysPrayer · 10/04/2015 19:56

eggs sorry AF arrived. I used to notice that my supply was lower during AF, less so now dd feeds less but she is often fussier. She was nightmare during my mc Sad

On a happier note - I got a dark line on my ic opk today. Smile It's cd 13 so maybe my body isn't broken after all.

Hope everyone is doing ok.

auxiliaryauroch · 10/04/2015 20:27

Yay mary!!!!
Day 2 with no feeds at all. Sad

peardrop2 · 10/04/2015 21:46

Oh Mary that's brilliant news Smile

peardrop2 · 10/04/2015 22:05

Aux - so you've done it? How are you feeling apart from sad? It gets better I promise! It's been 2 weeks now for me and I'm not sad anymore. I miss it but I am making the most of cuddles and my ds is fine. In fact he's really happy this week so now I'm just looking back at the very happy memories we had together bf and treasuring the new ones as he is still just as cuddly Wink

AvaAmulet · 10/04/2015 23:01

Pleased to hear that, Mary Smile x

Duchess007 · 11/04/2015 10:48

Morning all, sorry I've been a bit absent this week. Busy week as a lot of my family and friends are teachers, so school holidays always means lots of visitors! I've been shattered! But luckily so has DD so she's been sleeping well which is great.

Mary-that's such great news that you are ovulating. I hope you're doing ok. Thanks

Aux - well done for weaning, even though it must be so hard. Hopefully it will be worth it and you will get BFP soon. Just imagine bf a newborn with your LO cuddled in next to you Wink

Eggs - sorry about AF. Hope it's gone before you know it and you can crack on again.

Pear - what a pain about the OPK's. Love the idea of getting BFP this cycle to tell that woman on the phone what for! Wink

Mumo - well done for keeping up the DTD marathon! Fingers crossed for you.

So, on to my news. Today is CD46 for me. I tested on Monday (Cd41) and got bfn but still no signs of AF, so I tested this morning, and BFP!!! I really can't believe it! It hasn't really sunk in at all and I'm trying not to get ahead of myself as it's early days of course, but I just can't believe it! Smile I thought bf DD seemed a bit painful this week, but I thought it was because of cutting down to one feed in 24 hours and didn't connect it, as I haven't noticed any other breast tenderness at all. I'm usually so obsessive about symptom spotting, I can't believe I missed one!

AvaAmulet · 11/04/2015 10:52

Massive congratulations, Duchess! Yay!!! Grin

MarysPrayer · 11/04/2015 10:53

Brilliant news duchess. Smile Smile
(Posting quickly on my phone, will post properly later.)

peardrop2 · 11/04/2015 13:52

Duchess - congratulations. Do you have any idea how far you're? Christmas baby do you think? Good luck with everything Smile

So, my CBfm sticks arrived today which is amazing because I only ordered them yesterday didn't I?! Anyway, I know I said I wouldn't look at the lines but I can see a second line Blush Naughty I know. I have no doubts that it is nothing. I'm more intrigued to why it's showing a faint second line at 10dpo. Does anyone else use CBFm sticks on here to compare?
