Thanks dizzy in going to try and wait mostly because I don't want to set the BFN yet

niknak if I had symptoms tomorrow as well I would be tempted to test on Saturday, if no symptoms then I'd wait until after AF was missed. I hope it's a BFP for you!!

Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement! My DS is with his dad since yesterday & I miss him! It made me realise how lucky I am already to have such a wonderful son disregarding the teenage hormones & attitude that been starting to develop

Sorry you got a BFN Mistletoe! KMFX that AF Stays away! Hang in there! How many dpo are you? Fx you just tested too early? What HPT did you use? Some are more sensitive than others.

DizzyM That is really annoying that you have to wait so long to get your results! Could you not ask them for a print out of them? I did that before. I brought them to an acupuncture appointment & my acupuncturist explained them all to me. Try to take your mind off them for the next few days...Monday won't be long coming

Illiria My doc did a cd3 blood test first & then did a cd21(7dpo) test. Perhaps you could ask them for a cd3 test too.

Nicnak Pregnancy & AF symptoms are so similar it is hard to tell really. I have stopped symptom spotting...it would literally drive you bananas! ...fx you get a BFP

Sparkly how are you? My mum had spotting when she got a BFP with my little brother who is nearly 19 & towering over me. I really hope it is just IB & the spotting stops. Fx you get a BFP x

Thsnks Laura, no idea how many dpo I am.. Not been temping or using opks. It was a standard issue NHS test, 20miu sensitivity I think.. Said to dp may test again tomorrow CD 31

mistletoe they say HCG doubles every 2 days, so if I were you I would wait until Saturday...I know that I easier said than done. I know how the clock ticks slowly during the 2WW! Fx you get a BFP whenever you decide to test .

I can't be sure as I don't temp but I suspect CD12 if OPKs are on the money...which would be Saturday.

Laura you must have such a great bond with your ds. You both sound lovely. Can I ask how long you have been having acupuncture? Has it helped it any way? Good idea about the printout. I will ask for that on Monday when Dr rings me as I know the receptionists will refuse to hand it over until the Dr says so

I went for acupuncture for 5 months. I stopped going last August, as the acupuncturist told me that I needed to see a gynaecologist, as I needed progesterone. He said that I had all the signs of being very fertile & I could continue going if I wanted, but that he felt he had helped me as much as he could. I felt it was beneficial as I was getting a lot of UTI' & I was suffering from bowel issues constipation , and I have not had an UTI in a year & my bowels have been behaving... I also found it helped me relax more & sleep better. I also used to have a lot of brown bleeding at the start of my AF & that stopped.

Aww laura that is so sweet and I'm sure it will last. It's great that you've had such positive results from acupuncture. I tried it for a month when I was ttc DD but at that point it wouldn't have worked for me due to endometriosis, which I didn't know about so I stopped going.
Are you seeing a specialist now?

Southy so sorry for AF lovely. Sending you are right to look at the positive of just being alive let alone the other list of positives in our lives. We should always appreciate those first and foremost.

lauras glad you got help from acupuncture..it is very relaxing that's for sure! What do CD 3 bloods tell us? Thanks for the positivity! My spotting is the same every cycle so I kinda know I'm out. But thank you!

woolly - they just put it on your record so whenever you are 7 days past ov you just go in to the lab within the doctors office and have the blood drawn without having an appointment. One of the good things about private health care.

Hi Sparkly well I am not tempted to test right now as I think I am coming down with something! Horrible stabby abdominal pains and hot flushes (much higher in my abdomen than AF pains have ever been) :(

woolly hoping you get your static tomo! I've realised I'm at least a few days off - no line whatsoever yet on opk ... dh is on a mission to make sure we dtd every day this cycle (he reckons that's how dd2 came about in second month or so of trying).

Husband had his sperm results back and they seem ok... Though I have been scouring the Internet looking for 'normal' ranges to compare it to! Wondering if there are 2 different scales for morphology tho... My husb got 8% and not sure if that's good or a worry!

I've just had my Day 21 tests so hoping to get those results soon...

You must be on cycle 7 now? I think I remember having slightly longer cycles than you, and I'm coming to the end of cycle 6.... I have everything crossed for you, lovely lady!

Ladies thanks for all your replies, I'm starting to think I was just tired from shifts at work as it was too early for Af symptoms.
Laura I'd tried hard not to symptom spot too but felt really ill, although feel fine this morning.

woollys and coffee let's set how today goes and I might cave tomorrow but I want to hold out until Monday ideally.

My Niece was born we do night though and meeting baby tomorrow, I'm thrilled for them but still going to be a hard day. Maybe I'm imagining symptoms so I can have one too..
