coffeenut · 08/04/2015 12:33

I'm so sorry to hear that sparkly. Ill keep keeping my fingers crossed for you. Look after yourself Flowers

Sweets27 · 08/04/2015 12:34

Oh sparkly Sad I was just nipping in to see how everyone's doing and I'm so sorry to hear AF looks like she's going to get you. That's so unfair! I was well excited for you this month.

Sparkly123 · 08/04/2015 12:37

Oh thanks ladies!!

Sweets how are you?? Thanks for that. We shall see what happens.

DizzyMerry · 08/04/2015 13:01

Congrats on the bfp's abi and mship. Lovely news

Southy it's great that you can get your bloods done this cycle but it's not over til it's over

Yay for flashing smiley woolly just in time for the weekend!

Pleased you got your equipment night. I will be doing the same if this cycle isn't successful

I'm cd27 but have nothing to report. Should get my blood results today

MalibuDaisy · 08/04/2015 13:02

Thanks sparkly - DH is overseas from CD8-CD13 so I'm wondering whether it would be a waste of time using them this cycle. Oh well, Sorry to hear AF is on her way, that sucks.

Not dealing well with the hormones of this TTC nonsense. I just ate a sizeable Easter egg and I don't even like chocolate. I'm a fitness junkie with a carefully controlled diet so I'm freaking out and feeling horrible about it. I used to be bulimic and it's tempting to go and hurl the whole thing up. Ugh!

Sorry for the pity party. I do wish I could go back on the pill though, it was so lovely and regulating!

Sweets27 · 08/04/2015 13:12

I'm fine thanks sparkly Smile nervously coping with the first couple of weeks post-BFP, mostly excited and sore-booby! Grin

Sweets27 · 08/04/2015 13:12

Oh and yay for those with flashing smileys! Fx for you all! Smile

Sparkly123 · 08/04/2015 13:14

Great news Sweets glad you are feeling good generally! Flowers

DizzyNorthernBird · 08/04/2015 13:14

Nooooo malibu don't do it! Can't you go for a nice run in the sun instead?

sparkly, I want to give you some sparkly words of advice, except no one does pick me ups quite as well as you do! Didn't you get spotting on your bfp cycle though? Don't give up hope just yet lady!

dizzy fx for some good news x

DizzyMerry · 08/04/2015 13:17

Malibu I would start using them from cd8 just in case you ovulate early. I think you should start using them this cycle as it will give you a better idea of when you ovulate and give you a chance to get to know your cycle. Sorry to hear you have been bulimic. That must have been very hard to deal with Flowers. I have no experience of bulimia but please do not throw anything up, just see it as a blip and try to regain some control, if you can and go back to eating how you usually do

MalibuDaisy · 08/04/2015 13:39

Thanks guys. Sorry again for the emotional post, I'm a bit embarrassed. It's just so unlike me to lose control and eat something like that these days. I would go for a run, except that I already did that for an hour this morning - I think if I just eat veg for the rest of the day I will be okay. I need to not do anything like it again though as my head can't cope! I haven't purged in almost a decade but in the last couple of months I've come to the conclusion that the pill might have been regulating my appetite in some way. I've been far crazier since I came off it in October!

Thanks Dizzy I will go for CD8 - as you say at least I will get an idea for future months :)

MarysPrayer · 08/04/2015 13:44

Sparkly don't lose hope. fx for you. Thanks for asking after me Flowers I'm doing a lot better now thank you. The bleeding stopped after about a week and I'm feeling much less tired too. Still a bit sad but looking forwards not backwards.

Sorry for being absent for a while. Didn't have too much to say but will make more of an effort now I'm feeling a bit better.

Yay to the bfps! Smile

jugglingmonkey · 08/04/2015 14:09

Congrats Abi!

Got a positive Ov test yesterday so DTD like rabbits now... Good job DH is off work this week!

Sorry to those caught by AF... Onto the next one!

coffeenut · 08/04/2015 14:10

malibu don't be embarrassed. And dont eat veg for the rest of the day. One choc egg is not the end of the world (former anorexic, so youre not alone!). Interesting re the pill, I hated it as it made me constantly hungry (which is why my psych put me on it!).

Marys I'm glad youre doing okay. You too sweets!

i hope the blood results are positive merry x

tessiegirl · 08/04/2015 14:17

Yay for bfp Abi!! Wow!! Just goes to show! Can we have your stats please? Any vits you are taking, when you ov'd and dtd, anything else that may help us ladies on the bus?

Malibu as others have said, I would also start opks on CD8 and definitely start using them this month as they give you an idea of when you ovulate even if you don't ttc this month. Sorry to hear you have been struggling, I know the guilt is overwhelming but in the nicest way possible, please please please don't revert back to old ways, focus on the future Smile Flowers Also, don't feel embarrassed about being open on here, we are all here to support one another!

coffeenut · 08/04/2015 14:18

(By positive, I mean, a good result, not positive for something in particular! Should edit my posts!)

DizzyMerry · 08/04/2015 14:34

I knew exactly what you meant coffee!

MalibuDaisy · 08/04/2015 14:52

coffee I hated being on the "proper" pill as it did make my weight go up - I used to dip in and out of taking it, and eventually refused it altogether. The mini pill worked for me, however, as it didn't seem to lead to weight gain the way the others did. You say "former" anorexic so I'm glad that you too have made a recovery :)

Thanks Tessie I would never want to go back to my old ways. Life with an eating disorder was completely and utterly shit. I'll always be a bit batshit about food and body image and it's possible that TTC is dredging up some old anxieties.

I swear all my friends who have kids (with the exception of one couple who had difficulties) just went into TTC quite happily and patiently without stressing, yet here I am two months in and already thinking "Oh God it hasn't happened yet, that means it's never going to happen, everything is bad!!" (I mean that slightly tongue in cheek, but still...)

I am feeling much better now though, thanks guys for your understanding :) x

nightandthelight · 08/04/2015 15:19

Feel as though someone is stabbing me in the boob :( Not sure if that's a symptom or just AF heralding her imminent arrival.

auxiliaryauroch · 08/04/2015 15:22

Just checking night - someone isn't actually stabbing you in the boob? I mean, you've looked around right? There are boobstabbers everywhere these days! misses point--

Hairstylisttoboris · 08/04/2015 15:22

Oh yes abi please can we have any stats as tessie said...

auxiliaryauroch · 08/04/2015 15:23

Good grief! What happened with the strike through there? Weird.

NicNak22 · 08/04/2015 15:23

coffee here's hoping they will help me, still the chance that April is still my month this is the first month I've not felt 'pregnant' leafing up to Af no symptom spotting this month Hmm

Thanks for the nails love, I do love a splash of pink.

nightandthelight · 08/04/2015 15:24

Damn it aux you are right
