Hello ladies, can I join? Buses are a bit too busy for me!

I'm 31, TTC#3, I have 3.5 yo twins. TTC since April 14, Mc August 14.

AF got me this morning, was 2 days late so just becoming hopeful Sad

Wine in hand now!

CuppaSarah · 11/04/2015 21:12

Oh patty that really sucks, I hope you're feeling OK and being good to yourself.

Welcome knittedmittens but sorry AF got you too. At least you can start here with us on a fresh cycle. Goodness me twins! That must have be a tough welcoming into motherhood, going from 2 to 3/should be easy for you.

Mrsmugoo I'm hoping you get your solid smiley tomorrow!

diamondsparkles · 11/04/2015 21:46

Hi knitted! Wow - twins!! Bet that's busy but lots of fun!
Sorry to all those af got - she really is a witch.

PattyODoors · 11/04/2015 22:09

Cuppa I'm ok about it, helps that I'm sat here eating my body weight in mini eggs! Grin

CuppaSarah · 12/04/2015 06:59

The therapeutic powers of mini eggs Grin

My app gave me the ovulation cross hairs today as my temps been high for 3 days. Its not suspect like last time either, its a very clear temp rise. It jumped up even more today!

I have a one to one meeting in the next couple weeks with my boss, really hoping I get my bfp first so we can talk face to face.

woundbobbin · 12/04/2015 09:18

Sorry about AF patty and knitted (& welcome)
Stupid AF got me today Hmm

mrsmugoo · 12/04/2015 09:37

Another sodding flashing face and husband flying 30,000ft to LA Hmm

CuppaSarah · 12/04/2015 13:08

Sorry to hear AF got you too so woundbobin. She's really making the rounds here atm, how are you feeling?

That is one stubborn egg mrsmugoo, swimmers live a good few days though so you never know!

Queazy · 12/04/2015 14:50

I'd like to join please Smile Only started TTC this cycle, and one 18mo. Took about a year last time, so trying not to be impatient from Day 1 (and failing miserably...!)

Welcome queazy!

mrsmugoo · 13/04/2015 06:59

Morning all! Solid smiley at last, suppose there might be a slim chance for me this month. So much later than I would have predicted (CD16) but then again that's how I already have one DS, assuming I ov'd on day 12 haha!

woundbobbin · 13/04/2015 13:12

Welcome queazy
Morning all. After 12hrs of feeling sorry for myself re evil AF (and a slight hangover Shock) today I've decided a January baby is far better than a December one because (work with on this people).....
1.No newborn on Christmas Day but being at the end of pregnancy means optimum eating!

  1. Will still be on mat leave for the 2016 Olympics and awake at night so time difference won't matter.
  2. January is a miserable month and it'll be nice to have a birthday to look forward to.
........ That's as far as I have got but quite positive for a Monday Grin
CarrotPuff · 13/04/2015 14:38
  1. Once you're over the initial slog, it's already spring.
  2. You won't have to put up with Christmas baby comments

I had my first in March and it was absolutely perfect. Would love another march baby,

CuppaSarah · 13/04/2015 16:16

Welcome queazy lovely to have more company.

Hurray a solid smiley!!you are.so in with a.chance mrsmugoo

I said I would never try for the month that resulted in a Christmas baby, but here I am in the tww. Also totally tmi but I peed myself a tiny bit today. Hasn't happened since third trimester in pregnancy. Obviously 4dpo is too early for symtoms but it could be an omen surely?

CuppaSarah · 13/04/2015 16:45
  1. You get the benefit of the cold winter during the last two months of pregnancy to stop overheating.
  1. You have a chance to get back into your normal routine before baby arrives, instead of being born into the chaos of Christmas and new year.
mrsmugoo · 13/04/2015 17:12

Does solid smiley mean I ovulated today? Is it worth doing one tomorrow or not really?

DH away and not dtd since Saturday so all a bit academic really.

Avasmum8 · 13/04/2015 17:16

Afternoon everyone, hello to the newbies :) been quiet recently as life seem so busy atm with work and been out on a school trip today with DD now I'm shattered!

Love your reasons for avoiding a Christmas baby! Haha I would prefer a Feb/March baby if I could have picked but was so desperate to start ttc number 2 after having to wait that I don't care about it being an Xmas one :) my provisional due date is also 18th Dec, so could be a Jan baby, DD1 was 13 days late! Xx

CuppaSarah · 13/04/2015 18:21

If I get pregnant this cycle my due date will say new years baby, but dd was early so I'll probably have a Christmas baby if she's anything to go by. Truthfully I don't cslare when I have a baby as long as they're healthy and don't have a giant head.

woundbobbin · 13/04/2015 19:03

Loads of awesome reasons to have a crimble baby Ava and Sarah and the hospitals will be quieter so plenty of room etc
I have ordered a smiley face stick on this weeks online shop & downloaded a horrifying app which maps out your menstrual cycle using a diagram of a pink flower it's awful very much looking forward to deleting it !!

Avasmum8 · 13/04/2015 19:17

That sounds interesting bobbin! Do you use any other app like fertility friend? Yeah it is very quiet at Christmas in the hospitals, I'm a midwife and worked the Christmas just gone and we had two ladies on the board the whole night shift on a busy obstetric unit! It's home birth for me though :) fingers crossed xx

CuppaSarah · 13/04/2015 19:28

Home birth for me too avasmum!! Oh my goodness woundbobin I know that app and I found it awful. Have you tried fertility friend? I use that one and it doesn't have a god awful pink swirly flower. Just a calender and chart.

mrsmugoo · 13/04/2015 20:32

Home birth here too even though DS was an ELCS for breech. They will have to drag me kicking and screaming from my home!

mrsmugoo · 13/04/2015 20:38

Using fertility friend here too. Used a different one when I fell preggo by accident so I deleted that one!!
