Thanks guys! The line has faded as the test dried which has me a bit worried. Its still visible though. Eeeeek I'm just gonna let myself get excited.

CarrotPuff · 19/04/2015 08:23

Congrats cuppa, I can see a line! I'd suggest to get a superdrug own, they are quite sensitive but much cheaper.

CuppaSarah · 19/04/2015 08:28

Thanm you carrot! Did the second one in the pack and another bfp even with dilute wee!! If super drug opens before boots I am so going there. I got my first bfp with Dd on super drugs own. Eeeek its really real isn't it? Two bfps in a row can't be coincidence.

CharChar2015 · 19/04/2015 08:40

Congraulations cuppa that is definitely a line :) you must be over the moon

Not much to report from me... still no AF (CD30) but not testing again as certain i'm out this month :(

Torfhinn · 19/04/2015 10:13

Morning all, welcome Charchar and Tango

I'M so sorry about the MC Charchar, it must be hard when people around you are getting pregnant, but you are not alone here! Vent away Smile

Tango, I'm not charting either but I generally get OV pains as well so we'll see how that goes. Fell pregnant quickly first time, so never go round to neurotic charting/temping then!

Congratulation Cuppa, so pleased for you. 2 BFP's together is pretty certain. Here's to a happy and healthy 9 months Grin

Hope you feel better soon Mrsmugoo

Sorry AF got you diamond, new month, new hope

Nothing too exciting here, CD 10 so entering the shagathon Wink

Have a lovely sunny Sunday everyone

CuppaSarah · 19/04/2015 10:21

No doubt about it now! Got a digital to do in the morning but I'm officially pregnant!!!!

We used soy iso this cycle and I have loads left. If anyone wants it it's there's along with a handful of ic opks!!! Gonna be a mega new year in the cuppa house!!!

TTC #2 - would anyone like to share the journey?
Queazy · 19/04/2015 11:00

Huge congrats cuppa Grin That's amazing news! Can I ask a silly question - what's the soy stuff you're referring to? xx

CuppaSarah · 19/04/2015 11:05

Soy iso is soy isoflavones. They apparently work.like clomid for a naturally stronger ovulation. You take them for five days at the start of your cycle. Most people take them cycle day 3-7 in gradually increasing dosage. Which gives you a stronger ovulation. It worked perfectly for me. Got my strongest ever opk and 4 bfps!!

mrsmugoo · 19/04/2015 11:54

You wow Cuppa! Massive congratulations on your BFP! ThanksGrin

birdbrain21 · 19/04/2015 13:18

Cuppa congratulations on your BFP, seeing the pictures your posting is not helping my temptation to test, but I anyway don't have any in the house and not sure I'm going to get out today.
My periods have been all over the place and this is first cycle off the pill so I know it's unlikely but I got pg so quickly last time I can't help hoping my nausea is pg related this month although I often feel sick when AF arrives as well...I think my period is due this week but not sure because of being irregular someone talk sense to me whether i should by a test or not!

birdbrain21 · 19/04/2015 13:20

Also DH made cheese toasties for lunch today and I'm really not in the mood, I went off them when pg with dd but I think I'm just trying to convince myself now! I was so determined to not drive myself crazy with symptom spotting but it's so hard :(

Ilikesponge123 · 19/04/2015 15:24

Bug hugs cuppa Sarah Grin
How lucky are you???!

Ilikesponge123 · 19/04/2015 15:27

Birdbrain21 your periods sound just like mine. I'm terrible for symptom spotting too. I didn't plan my #1 and now I'm planning my #2 it doesn't seem to be happening :'(

CuppaSarah · 19/04/2015 16:19

Thanks for the congratulations! I know the feeling birdbrain, I'm usually the one feeling that way. My periods are stupidly irregular has 3 in the last 6 months I think. I hope you join in pregger land soon.

Indomitable · 19/04/2015 18:37

Congratulations CuppaSarah!

Hi to the new folks. Grin

I've been lurking around. I even POAS the other day despite still having the coil (had the mega-boob) - but they're 3 years out of date and I may as well piss on them before chucking them!

Original plan was to actually start TTC in sept, but I think I might whip the coil out in July due to my "advanced age" - DS was a one-try wonder but that was 5 years ago. I listened to an inside health podcast the other day and the guy pretty much said at my age my eggs are all decrepit so I better get on with it!

Meanwhile, I'm enjoying reading all your updates. Only a few months till I can join in! Thanks for sharing. Flowers

woundbobbin · 19/04/2015 18:42

Congratulations cuppa what brilliant brilliant news where was that list we made about the brilliance of a christmas baby!!
Shagathon starts in the bobbin household tomorrow - 1st month of using the smiley face sticks Grin

Torfhinn · 19/04/2015 19:12

Congratulations Cuppa on your BFP's! Flowers

Tangoandcreditcards · 19/04/2015 19:18

Hi indomitable I also was supposed to start TTC later. (July) but whipped my coil out early (Feb) mainly because I'm the most impatient person alive it was annoying me . So we're supposed to be "seeing what happens", but I'm not really that good at it on account of mostly knowing when I ovulate.

Don't feel bad about your over optimistic stick-peeing. I've been known to go to loo, stick in hand, discover sneaky AF and POAS regardless. I also once POAS in a month when I hadn't DTD.
Superdrug is basically funded by me. Single handed.

Indomitable · 19/04/2015 19:37

Hi Tango - yep, I've done those too!

I got 15 internet cheapies when we decided to TTC #1. We were lucky in that the first on I peed on was +ve. But it meant I had about 12 left (obviously I then peed on another couple in the following days!). I think I'm down to about 6 or 7 but they are years out of date and probably wouldn't work anyway. Still, nice little bit of loo-based chromatography!

mrsmugoo · 19/04/2015 20:58

Still feeling flipping horrendous here and DS woke up from his nap crying today as he's got a cold too, so symptom spotting just not on my radar. I think I'm 6dpo and AF is due Friday and fully expecting it to arrive.

knittedmittens · 19/04/2015 21:01

Thanks for the welcome all, though sorry I arrived and then disappeared for the week - we went away and decided to have a bit of a break from all things screen!

Congrats Cuppa, great news!

Carrot I have a boy and a girl, they are lots of fun! Definitely incredibly hard at the start, but I'm ready to do it again so it can't be that bad Hmm

Tangoandcreditcards · 20/04/2015 13:36

Hope you had a nice break knitted

Rest easy mrsmugoo - judicious application of Calpol for runny toddlers.

Despite all my protestations and twice not getting BFP before 21DPO; I POAS this morning (10 DPO). BFN shocker.

Was feeling sickish last night, so thought it was worth a go. Although given that due to my impending house move I'm living on whatever is left in the cupboards/freezer (unidentified mince dish followed by xmas pudding anyone??) it's not really much of a surprise I'm feeling sickish!

No more stick peeing this week. I promise!! (Superdrug were sold out)

sep15 · 20/04/2015 14:13

Hi everyone... hope its ok for me to share my story in ttc #2... I have had a bit of a rough time about it as of late and just feel like I need to share my story. I am very fortunate to have an amazing DS who has just turned 3 1/2... to me, he was a miracle... Once we started ttc, we fell pregnant in 3 months, but had a miscarriage at 11 weeks. We then fell pregnant again 3 months later and yet another miscarriage at 7 1/2 weeks. We ended up taking some time off of ttc and took a big trip and then a few months later (a whole year after starting ttc), I fell pregnant and that one stuck!

Now, we are ttc #2 and the road has even been harder... we have hit the 2 year mark in ttc (couldn't even tell you the number of cycles at this point), with no positive tests or anything that made me think once I was pregnant. We started working with a clinic and have ran all of the tests (bloods, tube dye test, semen tests) and all seems to be OK. The biggest issue is I am about to turn 39 in July and am very very aware of my age (my mom and all three of her sisters all hit early menopause by the time they were 40!)... so we have had to start some treatment.

I am now on my second round of clomid and trigger shots (doc wanted to give this a go for a few months before we move to the IVF option) and must admit, I think I may just be giving up hope... I just never thought that trying for children was ever going to be this difficult... All my sister in laws (I have four of them) already have two kids each, with one of them pregnant with her third... I just get so sad to think that we may never be able to extent our wonderful family and give my son a sibling...

I know I must sound like I am feeling sorry for myself but do feel a bit alone in all of this... no one else I know has any problems and all have fell pregnant without much of a problem. Some days its just hard to stay positive!

PattyODoors · 20/04/2015 22:10

Wow, I can't keep up in here! Congrats cuppa here's to a happy and healthy pregnancy! Well CD 7 here I think seeing as AF messed me about last month being late, then spotting for 3 days and then it being super heavy and v painful. The preseason friendlies have started in our house in anticipation of ov.

CharChar2015 · 21/04/2015 02:21

Oh sep15 sending you a big hug. What a rough and rocky road you've been on / are still on. I'm not sure what to say - but thank you for sharing your storey and I hope you can find support on this thread. You definitely don't sound like you're feeling sorry for yourself - you must have so much strength to get as far as you have. I am sending you lots of positive vibes and baby dust.

Hope you & DS are feeling better soon mrsmugoo

I've just been hit by AF so CD1 for me. And feeling positive for this month :)
