MaybeMrsMum2016 · 23/04/2015 20:36

I'm around! Nothing interesting to report from me today.

I've made myseelf look ahem, 'attractive' after work. Currently sporting comfy trousers, a vest top and hoodie. DH is bound to find me irresistable tonight haha!

Issie339 · 23/04/2015 21:01

It is very quiet on here today, hope everyone is off doing fun things.

AF arrived today but I'm glad as it means I'm now cd1 which feels a lot more positive. Ovulation due about 10th May and AF/BFP 24th May.

Haha maybe fx your OH is in to the 'relaxed' look.

Exciting day tomorrow with some due to POAS!!

sparklesandfizz · 23/04/2015 22:00

Yola how's all my luverlies?
Busy busy day here with visitors and lunching and playing in garden with children....skipping games and bouncing games are so much fun, I had forgotten! (And yes nicky, I can almost hear your wince, my undercarriage held up very well thank you very much Wink Grin
issie glad you are embracing the next round.
Not sure anyone should be pinning their hopes on me tomorrow.
Feeling sadly normal except am completely knackered. Even that's not particularly unusual for me.
maybe you'd do it for me Grin

So will be checking in tomorrow after the nerve wracking 3 min wait. Hoping to have good news for you ladies but thinking it's unlikely - sorry in advance.

Got to sleep now can't keep eyes open. Hoping everyone ok. Toodle pip!

nickynackynoo31 · 23/04/2015 22:02

I've had funny day today...kept feeling like I was starting to bleed but every time I went to bathroom nothing?? also had period like cramps again for couple of hours so not sure if AF ready to raise her ugly head Sad Sad Sad x

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 24/04/2015 06:04

Morning everyone! Hopefully whoever is POAS-ing today has a friday feeling that turns into a positive result!

Mr Maybe and I didn't manage to dtd last night, so if my OV was late I'll probably be out for this month! 13 days until I might know either way.

sparklesandfizz · 24/04/2015 06:48

Bfn for me ladies - sad times, just wait for af and get back on it.

nickynackynoo31 · 24/04/2015 07:08

Issie339 · 24/04/2015 07:55

Issie339 · 24/04/2015 08:00

It looks like May is going to be the month for a few of us now- I have strong vibes about May, my spidey-senses are telling me it is going to be chocca-full of BFPs Grin

Lookingforadvice123 · 24/04/2015 08:31

Happy Friday ladies! Sorry to hear you're out Sparkle but great news on your DP getting the job!

I'm due af Sunday but usually get spotting 1 or 2 days before so every time I go to the loo I'm dreading seeing spotting! I've been having some weird mild cramps feelings in my belly/pelvic area for a few days now which I imagine is af symptoms, and as its my 1st cycle I've just never paid attention before! Symptom spotting is the worst. Going to test Sunday AM with a FRER I think. Anyone else due to test this weekend?

nickynackynoo31 · 24/04/2015 08:56

looking I'm due to test Monday I think...
I too have had same cramping as you and yesterday spent most of day rushing to bathroom feeling like I was starting AF Confused but wasnt....
fx for you Sunday. x

VioletIbiza88 · 24/04/2015 08:57

Morning, sorry to hear that Sparkles, Wine Cake Flowers Is AF usually on time? As horrible as it was to see AF unexpectedly on Wednesday, I think it might be worse the other way round to have to wait for AF to show after a bfn. So hoping that either its just too early to show up any pregnancy hormones or if not, AF comes quickly and you can get on with next cycle.

Issie - Glad your feeling more positive, I think as now your officially CD1 your already into the new cycle and so can move on and think about that rather than being in limbo land waiting, which feels like wasted time.

Nicky I hope its not hun fx'd xx

I'm going to order some more clear blue opk's and some conceive + for next cycle, also going to go to holland and barrett later and look for some vit b complex to take along with my folic acid.

Sparkles - I checked my instructions for my last clearblue opks and it suggests for a 26 day cycle which mine was last time, to start poas on CD7 (Tuesday) which seems very early when you think I didn't start using them until CD14 last month. So hoping I did just miss ov last time and then I just got the hormones again later on (CD20/21) for no reason and I don't have a really crappy luteal phase??? Anyway we shall see.

Well only 3 (4?)of you left now......and the waiting goes on......

nickynackynoo31 · 24/04/2015 08:57

I'm having problems with my phone so I need to reset it. hopefully I can just download the app again and I will find you all again xx

Brooke113 · 24/04/2015 09:16

sparkles sorry to hear you're out this month, here's to a may full of bfp's :)

Fx for you still nicky

Agree with what Violet said, now you're officially cd 1 Issie you can start thinking about next cycle,it's the hanging around for Af to arrive which is the pita x

Lookingforadvice123 · 24/04/2015 09:27

Technically I should test Mon too as that will be the 1st day after missed period, but don't fancy testing then going into work straight away. Although my ovia app tells me to test tomorrow? Whatever.

Any nice plans for the weekend ladies? dH and I have got a quiet one other than a wedding party tomorrow night. On the plus side of not being pg, I've got a weekend away next weekend to catch up with uni friends which always involves lots of prosecco!

Faybelline · 24/04/2015 09:31

Sorry to hear that Sparkles :-(

I'm due to ovulate today.. is that the end of my fertile window?

I'm due AF 8th May so I've just begun my 2 week wait :O

I think May will result in lots of BFP's!!
xx

Brooke113 · 24/04/2015 10:24

fay if you're due to.ov today, I'd still dtd tonight and for a couple of days afterwards, just in case you.ov later, you don't want to miss your chance x

sparklesandfizz · 24/04/2015 10:27

Thank ladies, am not too sad just a bit meh!

After all I did a deal in my head saying I'd be happy if DH got his job, which he did.

Can't expect miracles but would've been the icing on the cake!

Periods always been entirely predictable and regular. Af returned about 6 or 7 weeks after Baby arrived but she is a bit of a milk monster ( feeding as typing) so if I continue to fail in my efforts to make dc4 I may have to accept Mother Nature telling me to give myself a break!

Having said that don't actually know when af arrived last month as wasn't tracking in view of ttc not being on the cards this time last month. Have a memory of being surprised at how much later than expected it was but can't remember the details. Think am cd27 today so I'll just wait for af to arrive.

faybelline I'd dtd today and prob tomorrow am if you can manage it. Egg lives about 12 - 24 hrs so give yourself the best chance of catching it. Then headlong into tww ( or hellish fortnight of sending yourself mental symptom spotting as I like to call it Wink!)

We'll all have a better idea where we are upto next month.

issie my ds will be very excited when I tell him I have a friend with spider senses lol - here's hoping you're right about may.

We should all hide whilst nicky resets her phone then jump out and surprise her later hehe!

Catch you guys later.

Issie339 · 24/04/2015 10:40

Good to hear you're not too down Sparkles it's only the first month so still plenty of reason to be positive...plus as you said, you did make the deal about your OH's job so kinda can't blame the universe on that one Grin

I'm having a horrible morning, is my first day cutting out coffee (just had a decaff) and it is RUBBISH. Sitting at my desk with a foggy head. Grrr. Can't work- too taxing, can only Mumsnet today Grin

Violet I did laugh when I read your shopping list for today, you'll be as kitted-out as I am! Funny how we all start out so chilled out and by month 2 are buying everything in sight!!

VioletIbiza88 · 24/04/2015 10:50

Oh Issie you reminded me, something to add to the shopping list decaf cappucinos!!! I think I will be enjoying coffee whilst AF is here, but then will be onto the decaf. I'm fine with decaf tea, can't taste the difference, but have yet to find a decaf coffee that tastes like coffee. Hoping I'll get used to the decaf nescafe cappucinos, and they can be my fake coffee fix of choice!

Faybelline · 24/04/2015 11:15

Issie & Violet No one told me you can't drink coffee!! :O

I'm a major caffeine addict, i'm already on my 4th.. 5th maybe 6th

NOOOOOO! I've always gone with 'If it's light, it's shite!' :D

Well I'll tell you now, the green Kenco one tastes like crap and the Millicano.. OMG.. Panic is setting in!!!! Shock

x

Issie339 · 24/04/2015 11:44

OMG Violet, now you have said that I am seriously just about to run out of the office to the nearest coffee shop and get a coffee!! Maybe I should just stop drinking it after AF (Monday maybe?) Decaff is better than nothing but really doesn't do it for me- the 'caff' is the best bit!

Sorry Fay I feel your pain. I am a massive coffee drinker (strong coffee shop coffee too!) and have cut down to 1 a day since ttc. I'm now trying to cut it out altogether...as you can see, day 1 is going terribly well Confused
