Last month I drove myself nuts with symptom spotting and early poas. I had every sign and symptom going and was convinced I was pregnant. Luckily I kept a list of all my many symptoms on a calendar so this time if necessary I can remind myself that pms has all the same same features as early pregnancy.
I'm determined not to test until 23rd, as I think I should come on then if I'm going to, must stay strong!! Anyone want company in ignoring the whole thing?!

Totally and utterly confused now! I've had 5 bfp's (faint but definite lines) just done a clearblue digital and it said 'not pregnant' Sad has anybody got any advice please? I'm 18dpo and 5 days late for af. So scared and confused right now

doomkittycleo · 03/04/2015 08:14

I've been on pregnacare for 5 months. Maybe af is trying to settle cus it definitely seems heavier this month.

doomkittycleo · 03/04/2015 08:17

Oh epskie :-( I'd go to the doctor and get them to check your bloods. Better to check than worry yourself.

MalibuDaisy · 03/04/2015 09:07

epskie I've heard that Clearblue don't pick up hcg as well as some other tests. But yes, see your doctor. FX for you x x x

Monkeysocks38 · 03/04/2015 09:31

It looks like I'm out for this month. 11dpo and my temp dropped to just below the control line this morning.

dummie · 03/04/2015 10:02

Epskie have you tried another test since the digital? I would try a first response asap xxx

LaraNotCroft22 · 03/04/2015 10:04

I agree epskie, try a first response. It might just be neg because it registers a higher level if hcg than you have yet. If really worried head to the doctors to put your mins at ease.

epskie · 03/04/2015 10:14

Ah sorry monkey I don't know anything about temping but I assume that's not a good sign?

Thanks ladies. I've been straight to super drug and bought their own brand tests since people seem to think they're the best (from my hours of google research this morning)
I'll put a photo of it on, this was about 15 minutes ago so obviously not fmu. Tell me what you think

anyone else in the 2ww but absolutely not symptom spotting this time?
fuzzywuzzy · 03/04/2015 10:34

Epskie I can definitely see a line.

Monkeysocks38 · 03/04/2015 10:57

Epskie I would say thats a definite line too.

No, temp dip is not good. It normally means that the progesterone levels have dropped off so waiting for AF to arrive now. I'm already down to 25 day cycles with AF due on Sunday so I hope it holds off until then.

TerryTheGreenHorse · 03/04/2015 11:00

I'm on the app but I can't see the photo, but the digis are less sensitive than other tests. I think they are 50 mui. I would wait a few days and try another one.

FortySixandTwo · 03/04/2015 11:28

Hi hewy welcome :)

Epskie I definitely see a line congrats. X

I'm temping this month too as well as taking an opk 2times a day (obsessive much?). Seeing the specialist in 2 weeks so just DTD dutifully now until the appointment

How's everyone else getting on ? X

epskie · 03/04/2015 11:28

Thanks ladies. I think I'm going to ditch the digital - I haven't used them for any other pregnancies and this has been a bit stressful so I think it's over for me and digis.

monkey sorry to hear that :-( I hope she holds off for you too.

Hi hewy sounds like you're doing as much as possible, I'm not sure about the KY, I know there's a lube called preseed (I think) and that's more conducive to ttc, but I'm not sure whether the ky can't be used.

TerryTheGreenHorse · 03/04/2015 11:33

I just logged on to the website, that looks like a lovely clear positive to me! Not even faint.

epskie · 03/04/2015 11:37

Thanks Terry feel much better now :)

TerryTheGreenHorse · 03/04/2015 11:39

I was reading about a while back about people worring about darker lines and the just of it was that the amount of HCG can vary quite a lot in your urine depending on a lot of things, and some tests just don't go super dark,

That's a good strong positive I would say, not even faint.

It's so hard not to worry at this stage though isn't it, but tis a perfect weekend to get your BFP feet up and plenty of chocolate. Thanks

TerryTheGreenHorse · 03/04/2015 11:48

Just to add in case anyone else is using frers, the past few months ive been getting a visible second line which is hard to see if is pink or grey. I found an article on them the other day which said that the new ones have a really visible antibody strip where the dye would settle for a BFP.

Ive gone off them as a result, can't be doing with fake lines!

MalibuDaisy · 03/04/2015 11:52

epskie that definitely looks like a strong positive - yay! What a relief for you :)

Interesting re. First Response - I always thought they were the best tests, but redesigning them so that you might think you have a positive when you don't is pretty unforgiveable!

LaraNotCroft22 · 03/04/2015 11:58

Epskie I can definitely see a line too! Obviously just too early for the digital. Scary they can be so insensitive?!

I've just ordered some amazon cheap tests (15x 10mlu) ahead of next weekends testing.

Anyone used them before? A couple of reviews said they got false positives/ evap lines so a bit concerned.

epskie · 03/04/2015 12:10

That's very interested about frer!

I know lara I was just thinking before if I'd only done that test and received that result I.might've gone out and had a skinful today!!

Thanks for the reassurance everyone

TerryTheGreenHorse · 03/04/2015 12:22

I found the cheapies good last time but I got these one step inches from Amazon and I had a few lines last month, one really clear one that was false.

I think you have to just be really firm with yourself about the really faint lines and unless they are clearly pink count it as a BFN.

I hate these faint shadowy lines. I can't remember them from last time I was testing!

epskie · 04/04/2015 08:28

I think tests with pink lines don't get evap lines but blue do, or something like that.

spring you ok? X

Springflower3 · 04/04/2015 12:46

Hey epskie! Sorry I haven't been in touch I've been flat out with work and willing my AF to do one!!! Lol! Me and dp feel it isn't the right time as I want to process in my job and we had plans to build a house..... Although if we were blessed with a child we would be over moon lol!!

Have you got over the shock of your bfp???? epskie

Any one left to test????

epskie · 04/04/2015 13:50

Ah I'm so glad you're ok - I was thinking about you!

I think so. Still testing every day - paranoia setting in. Don't know when to book in or anything, mithering over whether to ask for early scan or just try not to panic.

Building a house sounds exciting! I'm a valuer so I love house talk! Haha.

Springflower3 · 04/04/2015 14:51

If I was in your position I would had my ass to the gp get a confirmation test.... Cause 5 tests can't be wrong like as get booked in!!!! I was hoping and praying for u to bfp..... And I won't deny I was jealous at the sake time lol!!!

Yea he was left a lot of land and there is a farm on it and we put a replacement dwelling...... So will planning n all it could take a while! A house valuer?? Sounds sophisticated!!!
