S'true, we're absolutely awash in spunk BFP's this month! So if you fancy gaining three stone, refusing sex for ever twelve months, losing your marbles sight of your feet...then come and join us in our quest for a babby.

Ladies can I just give you a warning!.. I'm honestly giving up on ICs! That's twice that I have had a faint line but negative on frers. I really am gonna stop using them now as I think they are utterly confusing! I have attached a photo in black and white as couldn't get a good pic just to show you. I know I'm not pregnant as have bleeding now and frer is stark negative. Only reason I tested was because fertility nurse asked me to this morning when I spoke to her. But just putting it out there- no to ICs!

Bean I told a couple of people, I ger where your DH was coming from but it's so helpful to offload to someone who's not directly related. It helps you look at things from another angle.

I am too scared to go across to antenatal boards just yet, but don't want to post here as I don't think those of you struggling need my thoughts on early pregnancy... I will stick around and read all your posts though.

I am really sorry to hear that Pikz. If age is not an issue, maybe you should take a month off & try to get your head together a bit.

Heir, I am over the moon for all you guys who got your BFPs. I can't speak for others, but I wouldn't mind you posting your symptoms/hopes/fears.

Lucie, thank you for the statistics about IVF. I really hope things work out well for you. You must be so excited!

DH and I are planning to go abroad if our NHS attempts don't work, so I would be interested to hear about your experience.

Sparkly I had a line on IC but it was grey not coloured so was negative. They are difficult to interpret! It seems everyone buys them becuase we think it is what is used in GP practices. I asked my GP and they buy CB ones, every practice is a business and buy what they want to buy.

Sorry to everyone feeling so down and needing a break from the buses, I hope the relaxed approach gives you all the BFPs you deserve

It's crazy eh mummy ?! My NHS clinic gave me three which I haven't used as I thought the one step internet cheapies were the most sensitive. Either way! Frer says no and I now have AF. It's just frustrating isn't it, wish all tests were the same!! How are you? Hope you are ok after last night

I think I'm off to April bus ladies. I'll pop over every so often see how you are getting on. Just find it hard to keep up with two buses. Wishing you all so so so much luck this month. Each and every one of you deserve a BFP.

Sparkly if you're still here I was ok last night, it was just dp getting upset talking about his dad. Was good to let him talk though as he's not really said too much. I have been a mess and he has been holding everyone together. He is amazing really. But now may have missed ov!

night wow 4 month old and poss preg again. Dilemma. I had a friend who had 2 kids and found out she was preg with a 3rd she didn't want. She had an abortion. It coincided with us getting our infertility tests so was really hard for me. But it was the right thing for her if she couldn't cope with 3 tots.

Omg talking of abortion, sorry if this offends anyone. I was talking to dh last night about Downs syndrome risks(due to my 'geriatric' age). Dh would want me to terminate if our baby had Downs! I'm afraid that dh would be out the door not the baby!

I assumed she wouldn't want it Victoria but she says that she is hoping that it is positive! Her DH will have a heart attack though.

Luckily only you get to decide whether to have an abortion or not, I'm sure you DH would change his mind once he saw the baby :)

Victoria would you maybe just not consider testing? You can decline the test.

Sparkly yes very important. He is struggling to remember the moment we watched him slip away. Worried that he will bottle it up trying to be strong for the rest of us and end up having a breakdown year later if he doesn't deal with the emotions now.

I guess with a 4 month old that sleeps a lot it is easy to imagine that another one wouldn't be too bad but I think when you've got 2 pre schoolers it would be hard work!!

Sparkly, this is why I don't use ic's. I got 2 false positives a few months ago and it's heartbreaking it fill yourself with that excitement even for a short while. Frer all the way for me.

Pikz, I'm so sorry af's arrived. I'll miss you on the buses but maybe a little break will do you good. Ttc can be so tough, maybe try and do some things you like, get away with dh for a weekend or some fun days out. Sending a big hug to you

I hope this doesn't upset anyone. Just thought it might cheer those up who are having trouble carrying on with their TTC journey. Having your baby is so worth it. My DS (6) made me this card for mothers day. You will all have this one day

Victoria, that's a toughy. Dp and I have spoken about it quite a lot as I'm older and have said that we wouldn't abort. It's a very personal decision and I wouldn't chastise anyone for making a different decision to me. I was 35 when I had ds and he's completely fine. It's a very small percentage born with downs. You probably need to sit down and have a proper chat to dh about it.

Just been for a wee and there was a pink tinge so it looks like af is on it's way, not a major shock as I was expecting it.

spinning seriously never using an IC again!! Terrible!! Well I don't know re full flow.. Which sounds crazy I know. I'm still having intense waves of nausea, nightsweats, AF pain, bloated stomach, exhausted all time etc. AF pains got worse last night and been on painkillers all day. During night I had - sorry tmi- black tissue again in the toilet and a couple of black clots but no flow as such. Today is much the same. Phoned fertility nurse who said maybe it's just a bug I have that coincides with AF and to take pregnancy test, which I did.. Negative frer. But still hardly any flow of blood. I have my HSG booked for next Monday now too. Argh..! Anyway. Dunno what's going on, I was counting this as CD 1 due to some blood and clotting but noidea. What's the current stage of play with you?! And where actually is Purdey?!? Is she on Facebook??

Sparkly, no, not seen her on fb either. Sorry your cycle is so weird, the black clots sound strange. I hate it when our bodies mess with us.
