S'true, we're absolutely awash in spunk BFP's this month! So if you fancy gaining three stone, refusing sex for ever twelve months, losing your marbles sight of your feet...then come and join us in our quest for a babby.

Fx night that it is - I don't know anything about them or when they are meant to happen so can't help really. We have the nursery too - living in a rented 3 bed house and the spare room is small but does have a double in at the moment so will be a perfect nursery. But it was painted blue over 2 layers of wallpaper by previous tennants so we are currently trying to strip it all then we will get it plastered and hopefully painted just after we find out the sex - though will prop go for a neutral colour anyway.

Have you already sold yours and is there a long chain or is it all very simple and you'll be moved in as soon as the paperwork is done?

tessiegirl · 16/03/2015 10:05

Hello ladies!! Hope everyone had lovely weekends Smile

Hope you don't mind mummy but I think it was you querying seeing no high fertility days (flashy smiley) on Dual Hormone opks? I use these too and have just fished out the leaflet inside the box and found this:

'Some women may not see High Fertility days but see Peak Fertility days only. This may be because the estrogen level is not high enough to be detected by the test, or they started testing too late. Peak Fertility results can still be relied upon and having intercourse on these days maximises your chance of getting pregnant'

I hope this may help!!! Smile

We are also renting mummy as we don't want to buy in our current area as there is a high risk of ending up in negative equity. I also don't want my children to attend school here so plan is to move in 4-5 years time :)

The new place has three double bedrooms so will be a good sized nursery like yours. I want to go for yellow walls as that is what my brothers had and it felt as though it was always sunny :)

Hi ladies,
Sorry I have been absent for the last 2 weeks. After the return of my mid-cycle bleeding (the same symptom which I had a polypectomy in December to try to sort out) this month I kind of went into head-in-sand mode and didn't want to talk to anyone. I'm really worried that my polyp is back / there's another one / there's something else bad going on. I've also turned 31 this month which, as well as being lovely, has also reminded me that my clock is "ticking". Yesterday really sucked because the witch turned up on Mother's Day and my Facebook feed was full of new babies and people announcing they are pregnant. Sad Sorry to be a downer...

However, thanks to the advise I got on here, I called the consultant a couple of weeks ago and have an appointment with him next week. So fingers crossed whatever it is will get sorted and we will get our BFP soon. Congrats to all the BFPs this month. See the rest of you lovely lot on the April bus, where I will hopefully be feeling a bit more positive! Grin

GirlSailor · 16/03/2015 10:12

Thanks for the new thread and belated happy Mother's Day to all you mamas. I didn't wish my own mama a belated one I promise, I was right on time!

Got a BFP on a cb digi this morning and am suitably blown away as I'm in My wtf cycle after mc last month. This is a lucky bus!

Congrats to all the other BFPers! So many so quickly, must be some Mother's Day luck or just some frisky springtime sperm or something.

Pretty sure I'm 10dpo so got a long way to go yet so will stick around a while before showing my face on the grads thread. Crossing everything for everyone still doing the dreaded wait.

nightandthelight · 16/03/2015 10:15

Congrats Girl this new bus is incredibly lucky!

BeccaMumsnet · 16/03/2015 10:16

Hi everyone - thanks for the additional info. We've flagged it to Tech.

Autumn2014 · 16/03/2015 10:18

wow! just catching up after not managing to read all the thread. so many BFPs. congratulations ladies! sorry to all those who got their AF, and good luck to all those who are still in with a chance. I'm going to scroll back a few pages to ctach up properly now.

I'm due AF tomorrow and after not managing to DTD at the right time this month I have surprised myself by thinking that I still might be in with a chance, which is stupid really. I did make a promise that I wouldn't test unless I am late after last month when I tested 3 days prior to getting AF anyway.

I've no symptoms other than excess salvia which started at 10dpo, and I read on dr google that it's a product of increased progesterone which is part of your natural hormone rise in your cycle and not necessarily linked to pregnancy. I didn't get any pregnancy symptoms with my son until I was 7 weeks so I know that this isn't sign of an imminent BFP but it's really annoying as I'm having to keep swallowing and it is making me feel nauseous.

I've also got that dull low ache that usually precedes AF, so I guess that my body is preparing for a new cycle.

cymonsarah · 16/03/2015 10:22

GirlSailor That's fab news congrats!

Flowers BannaRaces Sorry it's been a rubbish weekend. Fx for your apointment and BFP v.soon

Hope everyone is good, I'm just waiting to get ready for work, on a late shift Sad I've also been a big div and POAS this morn 5/6 DPO. WHY?!? BFN of course, but now I feel glum.

Have bad skin and weird pains in uterus, but can't tell if I'm just imagining it. So just feel it's not gonna happen this month. AF due between 21st and 23rd xx

dottiemad · 16/03/2015 10:25

BFP yesterday for us too!

Did a test on Friday evening and it was a very feint positive so did a retest on Sunday morning and BFP!

Its a lovely surprise for us. I only came off the pill in February and this is the first cycle of TTC. Not going to be favourite at the midwife as I think this makes due dates a bit harder to guess? FDLP was 3rd Feb but EWM was not until 25th Feb....so BFP was 18 DPO.

Had some painful cramping 14 DPO and dull cramps since. I think this is normal???

Other symptons were sore nipples almost immediately (didn't know if this was just because I had come off the pill so recently), peeing more than usual.

This is our first baby together :-)

Looking forward to reading and sharing our experiences!

mummyofonesofar · 16/03/2015 10:26

Tessie thank you! I went through the leaflet and completely missed that - though I was trying to make dinner at the same time! Shame we missed yesterday completely then as didn't dtd at all! will have to make up for it tonight and tomorrow morning if I can convinve DP! So if my estrogen is low, maybe I need some of that estrogen cream....

Yellow sounds nice Night my DS's room used to be blue and green but they were very bright colours as I think would have been ok for a girl too - weirdly! FX we are both preggers before we have to help with the painting! We put the flooring down before Christmas once we decided to start TTC.

Bananaraces Sorry about AF and sorry you've been feeling so low. I got baby bombed on facebook yesterday too, only 1 though. Was a friend of mine who's DD was born a few months after my DS and I am happy as she had a shitty time with DD birth father but can't hep feeling jealous too.

Girl congratulations!! Very lucky bus indeed - maybe Purdey should start them all from now on!!

nightandthelight · 16/03/2015 10:28

Wow congrats Dottie, this is awesome! Wishing all our bfps a very healthy 9 months :)

GirlSailor · 16/03/2015 10:30

Purdey is already the goto lady on all matters ttc as far as I can see, so I reckon if she was also the one responsible for each thread she would be only one step away from taking over the world Grin

mummyofonesofar · 16/03/2015 10:32

Dottie Lovely Mothers Day BFP, congratulations!!!

Purdey taking over the world one bus at a time..... Grin

Mumof1sofar · 16/03/2015 10:37

Good luck night & congrats on the new house.

Sorry for bfns.

Spinning, I'm using the app & seems to be fine.

Congrats Girl & Dotty- that's fab news Grin stats please? So many bfps on this bus!

Well I'm now about 7dpo (at a guess) & my boobs definitely feel bigger this morning (unwelcome as I'm already an f cup! In my last pregnancy they grew 3 cup sizes so don't want anymore!) I'm testing a week today... Finding the waiting hard though!

Nomio230 · 16/03/2015 11:00

Morning all. I was off pampering my Mummy yesterday, so didn't get chance to come on here.

I am 10 DPO. BFN yesterday & temp drop this morning, so think I am out.

I am not feeling good right now. I honestly don't think it is going to happen for us & I am starting to wonder if we should just give up. I can't keep going through the desperate hope every month followed by the crushing disappointment.

Sorry for being such a moaner, but no-one else understands like you guys do.

Three BFP's in one day?? Impossible? Not on this 'ere March conception buzz it's not!
dottiemad · 16/03/2015 11:04

Sorry, a bit new to this, what stats?
x

cymonsarah · 16/03/2015 11:05

Nomio big hugs. Sorry your feeling defeated. Don't give up! Flowers

lucieloos · 16/03/2015 11:13

Thanks to everyone who has wished me well with the ivf. It really means a lot to know you are all here cheering me on Smile I ordered my drugs this morning and they are now on their way be registered post!

Cariad hope you are ok, haven't had chance to catch up properly but I know how hard things can be. Keep on smiling our time will definitely come x

dottiemad · 16/03/2015 11:17

Don't give up, us women are warriors :-)

Beansprout30 · 16/03/2015 11:19

Nomio I totally get you, how long have you been trying?

Nomio230 · 16/03/2015 11:36

Thanks guys.

Beansprout, it has been about 4 years now. I had a CP last year.

We have both been tested & everything seems to be ok. I have just finished 5 months of Clomid & still not pregnant. We have literally tried everything. Supplements, SMEP, Softcups, Conceive plus.

The only thing left for us is IVF & that has such low success rates that I don't even know if it is worth trying.

Maybe I am just not meant to be a mum.

GirlSailor · 16/03/2015 11:40

Oh Nomio that's definitely not true. But you can't stay positive all the time, it's not humanly possible. Flowers

Hope you feel better soon.

Mumof1sofar · 16/03/2015 11:40

Dottie, which cds you dtd, ov day, etc.
