I think that's my plan for tonight Oyster and I've also suggested that on Tuesday he comes home from work for "lunch" just to make things a bit more interesting.

ThePug · 15/03/2015 18:49

Haha thanks Sparkly - I now have a mental image of you as a cheerleader shaking your pompoms in encouragement.

Sparkly123 · 15/03/2015 18:51

Well surely that image will get you through thepug ?! I've got my pjs on (no sexy underwear here..!), my hair scraped back and my glittery pom poms are a shaking! For you too oyster Grin

Oysterbabe · 15/03/2015 18:54

Thanks Sparkly! Smile
This morning I was on the verge of cheering him on ("Come on, focus, power through") like he does to me when we're out, running but I'm not sure he'd appreciate it.

Sparkly123 · 15/03/2015 19:01

Ha ha oyster that may kill the mood.. Slightly!! Good luckGrin

ThePug · 15/03/2015 19:02

OK so DH is now going to wonder what I'm sniggering about mid-DTD later, when I inevitably visualise Sparkly and her pjs/pompoms and Oyster powering through

loopylou1984 · 15/03/2015 19:09

Dh is on board for tonight dtd!
What is going on with all these unusual opk results?!
Hope everyone has had a lovely Mother's Day, with your dcs if you have them or with your mums Smile Xx

Hey, hope everyone is ok and has had a nice weekend. Congrats to the 3 bfp's and especially coffee. We have been on the buses together a fair old time now. Glad to see you on your way and with your bfp!

Haven't had chance to catch up much further yet as this bus moves so fast.

AF arrived for me today, it was my last one before starting ivf (well technically I have one more but having endo scratch this cycle so can't ttc). I thought I would feel quite emotional and upset when it arrived as it means that ivf is definitely going to happen for us but I don't really. I feel a little excited if anything and just glad that the waiting is finally coming to an end.

So I will have my endo scratch just before the bank holiday weekend hopefully and then will start my meds just after bank hol weekend! I've sent an email to the pharmacy in Czech to order the drugs and also checked with my Dr about booking flights. Hopefully I will have some answers in the next couple of days and we will be well in our way!

This time next month I will be making final preps and getting our bags ready to fly off to Czech and hopefully our dream baby..eeekkk!!!

juneybean · 15/03/2015 19:19

I'm so sorry guys been working all weekend and haven't had chance to catch up but am having a mini-panic, had smiley face this morning alongside a negative strip test, tested again at 1pm and it was nearly pos and now at 7pm it's positive, but also had a mega low temperature this morning. Haven't yet got egg white but it's been pretty watery and egg-ish for a few days.

Should I do a shot of spermicles tonight?

loopylou1984 · 15/03/2015 19:30

I would say yes Juney, you have 2 shots this time right?

Lucie - what is an endo scratch? Xx

Sparkly123 · 15/03/2015 19:35

Juney hurrah! No worries just wondered if all was ok. I would go for it if you have a positive.. Although Purds may chirp up as I know it's unlikely you will OV until at least 12 hours after the positive...so it's tough to time. But you have two samples right?

juneybean · 15/03/2015 19:35

Yep I'm wondering whether to do the "stronger" shot tonight? it should last 12-24 inside hours hopefully...

juneybean · 15/03/2015 19:37

Hi Sparkly! I just worry as last time my temp shot up the day after my positive opk and so I was worried I missed my chance, wonder if maybe my ovaries don't work properly after the medication last year and they now shoot the egg out not long after the LH surge?

Sparkly123 · 15/03/2015 19:37

lucie woo for last AF! I'm so glad you are feeling so positive about going forward with IVF, you are so right to keep focused on that lovely baby that is going to be joining you very soon Wink I hope all the final prep goes well, can I ask what an endo scratch is? Sending positive thoughts to you lovely! Flowers not long now!! Smile

Sparkly123 · 15/03/2015 19:38

That's possible Juney right? I think that be sensible.. Go with the strong swimmers tonight yeh. Either way you are getting them in there on peak days so you are In with a great chance! Oh I soooo hope this is it for you!!! Grin

Mumof1sofar · 15/03/2015 19:44

Hi ladies, hope you're all enjoying your evenings.

I've developed a worrying addiction to one born every minute. Downloaded series 6 & am watching it now! (Dh & dd in bed - dh poorly & dd asleep for the night).

I'm also enjoying a large glass of chilled white wine to try & invoke Sod's law Wink

babsbunny · 15/03/2015 19:50

Ha mumof1! I had the same thinking re wine last night!

DaisyDuckSW15 · 15/03/2015 20:19

Boo hiss. Think I'm out of the game this month. Got period pains. I'm due either tomorrow or Tuesday so it's all bang on time. I guess it's not over til the fat lady songs but 99% sure I'm going to be joining the April bus.
Hard on Mother's Day. I cried in church earlier while children were handing daffodils to their mums and the vicar led a prayer for ladies who want to be mummies but aren't yet. It meant a lot to me but found it very difficult. Thank goodness my husband was with me this morning and not having a lie in!

lucieloos · 15/03/2015 20:21

Sparkly and Sammy, endo scratch is a procedure similar to a smear test but they gently scratch the lining of your womb. As it's healing it releases chemicals and hormones which have been shown to help implantation. Some studies have shown that it increases success by 20% so I'm giving it a go!

lucieloos · 15/03/2015 20:22

Thanks for your lovely message sparkly! Definitely going to try and keep up the positive thoughts!

Mumof1sofar · 15/03/2015 20:25

Aww daisy Thanks Sounds hard.

LadyH1905 · 15/03/2015 20:28

Hi ladies, I'm joining you group in the hope all the luck will rub off! I am TTC for the last 2 years, 2 MCs and then my husband and I moved to London. We stopped TTC for 3 months whilst I started new job and in feb just passed the date I qualify for my mat leave, we DTD only once that week and guess what ...I'm 5 days late! I don't believe this could possibly be it after 2 years trying each time 7 months to get pregnant ..could it be this time a one shot (TMI) wonder has done it!!! No + test yet but I feel very pregnant ....nervous & needing some positive vibes let this be my turn

mrsb0710 · 15/03/2015 20:37

CD9 today, going to start OPKs tomorrow.

Weird one though and I'm slightly worried. Went to the loo today and had some spotting when I wiped, it was red, so not old blood. We've not dtd lately either Confused
Obviously if it happens again I'll get checked out. I don't know what it could be from.

babsbunny · 15/03/2015 20:43

Hi ladyH. Crikey. That's a tough few years.

I was feeling a bit sorry for myself this evening, but I am a rookie in this game. You have just shook me out of it. Thank you for that.

Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I am sending you all my positive vibes for a bfpFlowers
