Sparkly, I get your drift re D&G. Absolutely. I see the irony in two homosexuals proclaiming IVF to be an 'unnatural' state of affairs.

There's nowt as queer as folk ('scuse the pun) Grin

I would love sore boobs, too Sad

Mumof1sofar · 16/03/2015 22:32

Sorry to hear so many of you are going through hard times.

Special un-mumsnetty hugs to sparkly Thanks

loopylou1984 · 16/03/2015 22:36

If love these sore boobs if I thought it could be a sign! X

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 16/03/2015 22:36

Yeah sparkly I've been kicked off this bus already, but been hanging around, the April bus is a bit lonely at the moment. Bfp is due 3/4.

wotsits1 · 16/03/2015 22:49

Hola! How are we all?

Purdey hope Nancy is feeling better!

Sparkly you and your dh sound like you have an awesome marriage. DH and I some problems after i had dd (episiotomy gone wrong after delivery). It was tough but it does make your relationship stronger. Your dh sounds like a great guy.

Juney hope them spermz are doing front crawl racing through your uterus right now. I am super impressed that you used them soft cup thingymajigs. Question: how do you get them out?

Fifi did I see somewhere you're feeling nauseas? Boo! If ginger is out of the question - my nana swears by arrowroot biscuits!

Sorry I've been a bit AWOL. I am here... just busy busy busy and got nowt exciting to post about. CD9 here so its but dull. Plus.. I should really be on the April bus but I'm hanging around like a loser who wants to get in with the cool kids.

ThePug · 16/03/2015 22:49

Purdey T'was me asking about temp rises. Thanks for the info. Can I ask a dumb question - is the 0.2 rise in C? I have a Fahrenheit thermometer but mainly see FF charts in C so am regretting that. I also think that every time I turn it on the temperature says 97.70 and that is some sort of 'ideal' temperature and not the memory at all. Only took me 10 days to realise that Hmm.

juneybean · 16/03/2015 22:51

wotsits I stick a finger under the rim to break the seal then manage to get thumb and forefinger in to pull it out... and I say that as someone dainty of foof!

I'm definitely pregnant, sore boobs, feel sick and sore throat definitely not illness from my grubby work children

ThePug · 16/03/2015 22:54

Juney I love the detail on this thread. Cup of goo Grin

wotsits From what I hear the April bus kept crashing yesterday so it definitely doesn't sound like a safe vehicle to be on and I think you should stay put here and chat with us instead.

Sparkly123 · 16/03/2015 22:59

Purds your temps look like mine this cycle no?!

mumof1 thank you so much lovely Flowers

purple I'm kinda straddling both buses!! Wink

wotsits sorry to hear you had problems and thanks for your kind words.Flowers how's that device coming?!?? WELL?!?!

Juney your preggers. Obvs!!!! Those boys are getting in position now! Wooo!!! Grin

PurdeyPie · 16/03/2015 23:10

Pug, yes, sorry, celsius. I was always suspicious of my fahrenheit thermometer and just didn't trust it. Don't ask me why!

I'm off to beddybows. Nanight, sweet tarts xxx

Sparkly123 · 16/03/2015 23:18

Nights Purdey glad you are back!! Hope Nancy doesn't need any 1am sing songs tonight!! Flowers

PurdeyPie · 16/03/2015 23:23

Me too, Sparkly! I just heard her half-mumbling 'mama' through the baby monitor but I'm not falling for that old chestnut Grin

mummyofonesofar · 16/03/2015 23:26

I've only read back to 21:30 and will read through in the morning. Just wanted to say Sparkly that you and your DH have a beautiful marriage not a dysfunctional one. You are both amazing. I hope the procedure isn't too traumatic for you. It's the worst when 'down there' doesn't work as its meant to. We love you and you are wonderful.

juneybean · 16/03/2015 23:36

Sore boobs is a sign of ovulation apparently !

Sparkly123 · 16/03/2015 23:54

mummy thank you so much for saying that. That's so lovely. Honestly sometimes feel I my MN crew know the real me a million times better than my RL friends. It's quite liberating really being so open! Thank you so much Flowers you are all wonderful!

Purdey ha ha N-Dolly the little chancer! Wink

PurdeyPie · 16/03/2015 23:56

mummy, I loved your tot's beautiful card. Such a gorgeous boy, too.

Why am I awake?

PurdeyPie · 16/03/2015 23:58

sparkly, what are you doing up this late, you monkey? Where do you go every morning when you are quiet? Are you more unwell in the mornings?

Sparkly123 · 17/03/2015 00:17

Ha ha you sound like the husband!! My bodyclock is quite frankly- buggered! My whole adult life I've never been an early bedder. Even when starting work at 5/6am I was not asleep yet... (Mmm and I wonder why I have so many problems...!) mornings are always rubbish for me, my brain takes quite a while to function fully-well to the best it can!!- and just get going, so I spend most of my morning hydrating/eating and getting myself together and then I'll check in on you all! I know all the mummies will hate this but I don't wake usually until 9-10 as I sleep so poorly so by time my body gets going half the day is gone!

Sparkly123 · 17/03/2015 00:19

Purds so when you sleep theres a certain process obviously that goes on that refuels your tank up again for the next day.. My body for some reason doesn't refuel due to a million biological processes that I can't begin to understand so I have unrefreshing sleep, so I then wake up feeling pretty rotten to say the least with no real quality rest in the bank for the next day. That's how the doctors explained it to me anyway!!

nightandthelight · 17/03/2015 03:12

Well after getting my hopes up by arriving so weirdly, AF is now in full swing! No idea what was happening with the brown spotting. Have learnt a lot from this first cycle though (like how little I know my own body) and hopefully I will be less annoying from now on. At least I am not a jammy beggar who gets bfp first cycle Grin

nightandthelight · 17/03/2015 03:15

Well after a very weird start AF is in full flow. Really no idea why it started so differently to usual. Have learnt so much this cycle (like that I don't know my body at all) so hopefully I will be less annoying in future. At least I'm not a jammy beggar who gets their bfp first cycle Grin

nightandthelight · 17/03/2015 03:16

Apologies for double post!

PurdeyPie · 17/03/2015 04:25

"Chick-chick-chick-chick-chicken....lay a Lidl egg for me..."

Hmm
PurdeyPie · 17/03/2015 04:33

Aww, night, I'm sorry AF arrived Sad

Sparkly, yes, I imagined it to be something like that. I think about you and your health issues a lot, and wonder at your brilliant attitude towards your situation and the general chutzpah you radiate in your posts. I know social media can veil what's really going on for some people, but I have no doubt that you really are as amazing and inspirational as you come across on here. We love you Thanks

woodpigeon123 · 17/03/2015 05:15

Morning....

I think I'm out.... Due today (possibly), and a FRER neg as well as a temperature dip.

I'd stupidly got my hopes up for this cycle too!

Sad
