Sorry to those AF got - it sucks.

Thank you to all the good wishes yesterday. I got another positive test on a digi this morning at 13 dpo. Going to wait til Monday and if no AF will ring the EPU for some advice and reassurance that this is real. xx

rainy, sorry about AF it really has ruined this morning's POAS party, hasn't it?! I think lots of us who were meant to be POAS have been got by AF. Congrats gotthekey, though - at least we get one BFP out of it!

I might take a little time away from the buses til April gets going - but will be popping in to see how the TWWs and BFPs go. I have felt so lucky being here getting everyone's support, and sometimes I don't make time for a long enough post to talk to each and every one of you, but you should all know that I'm always sending you much love and positivity. You're a great bunch of ladies and I really fervently hope you all get your BFPs very soon.

out of interest anyone else have mega low temperatures pre-O? mine are always in the 35's....

have been tested for a thyroid issue and come up clear...

MrsG That is a brilliant symptom ! Haha, but yes I think you may be losing it!

Technically I think my AF date is 1st April but have put my test date at 31st March otherwise I would have missed this bus altogether due to stupidly log cycle. And this time I am going to try really hard not to test earlier than that - 5dpo testing was cycle 1 madness that will not be repeated.

Straight after my last AF it went to 97.41 (37.41)

I didn't bother temping again until CD18 which it was 96.10 (36.10)

CD 21 - 96.36 (36.36)
CD2 22 - 96.22 (36.22)
CD 24 - 96.28 (36.28)
CD25 (today) - 96.30 (36.30)

So my temps have always been quite low apart from that initial first spike but then I had a negative ovulation stick.

any ideas?

Morning all!

Thinking of you Spinning We had the news yesterday that my Nana has had another small stroke, DM is foretelling this as 'the beginning of the end'. She is frail and poorly and it will be a release for her, but I so desperately wanted her to see my babies :(

Blood test this morning was horrible, I give blood regularly and am fine with needles but today it took them three sticks and a change of nurse to get anything out - ouch! Still, in a week I will at least know for sure if I am ov'ing properly so every cloud...

I have missed so much but have read the end of the last thread, so please bear with me as I cluster post throughout the day (I'm off to the swings in a minute..)

Sammy, thank you for your lovely words to me yesterday. I promise to hold your hand right through this journey to your baby. If it's IVF then so be it..but I'll be there whatever. That goes for everyone struggling on here with the length of their journey. I've been there and it's tough seeing 'easy' bfp's come and go

Sparkly, not quite sure what your friend is getting at re parenting. They say there is no manual for raising a baby but I call Gina Ford a goddess for what she achieved for our family. What I found when I had a baby is that Everyone Lies About Their Baby's Sleep. Don't listen to a word from those who have it seemingly perfect in their house; they are very likely to be on the verge of divorce Oh, and one more thing...slings, co-sleeping, feeding-to-sleep, baby-led anything are your enemy

Mummy, I read this over and over yesterday and it made so much perfect sense. I slept brilliantly because of this: ..Just because we don't want it 24/7 doesn't make us bad parents, it makes us normal! It is mundane and wonderful all at the same time. But don't feel like you need to feel like this just because Nancy is all you wanted. It's ok to want more. Being a Mum is hard and at Nancy's age you don't get much back for it!

Southy, sorry AF arrived. I get my hopes up every month and AF/PMT is always accompanied by tears now then it is onwards and upwards to the next cycle. It will happen!

This is the worst 2ww ever - am starting to think it may be anovulatory. I've not been temping consistently but when I have they have been high and I thought with an anovulatory cycle they were more up and down - anyone have any experience? Have had usual PMT symptoms but that could be my hormones being out of whack.
My GP said it is normal to have one or two anovulatory cycles each year which sucks- we need all the chances we can get!

Trixie I too think I have had an anovulatory cycle this month and am nearing the end of the tww so waiting to see when AF will appear. FF hasn't been able to detect ovulation as my temps have been so up and down and continue to be so. Really sucks as I did get a peak on CB digi but maybe my body tried to release an egg but didn't get there As you say, apparently it is normal to have one or two of these cycles in a year but it is so frutrating as it is another month wasted. Do you use FF? I may check out my copy of Taking Charge Of Your Fertility and see what it says in there about temps in this case...

I was put off gford after a midwife told me if she could get hold of all of her books and burn then she would - maybe a tad extreme?! I have kind of gone with my instincts. Much more of a tree hugger than I ever thought I would be. Lots of slings, feeding to sleep, co sleeping now he's older (was too scared of squishing him when he was teeny!) in our house. And yes, his sleep is much more interrupted than that of his little buddies who have been sleep trained/ weaned....but he is getting there. :) . Find your own way, innit?

re: GFord I think it's your prerogative as a parent to raise your kids the way you want to really. I do think we have a tendency to over-think it in this day and age. My mum just muddled through it with the four of us and it was fine, and kids are so different that I think it's so difficult to find a one size fits all approach. My sister does the whole attachment parenting thing with my nephew which I can't say I would do myself (though what do I know yet?!), but it works for her.

CD22 here and I can already feel AF coming on Have an appt booked with GP to discuss getting blood tests done as opks were negative so don't think I'm even ovulating. Don't think they'll offer much on the NHS as I already have DD but once I know what's wrong then at least we can look into private treatment

Sorry you think you are having an anovulatory cycle too Tessie. Would be interested to hear what TCOYF says. I've used FF in the past but have been trying to take the laid back approach to TTC...the only reason I know I may not have oved is I found some CB digi OPKS when clearing out the bathroom and figured I may as well use them. Got negatives CD14-18 and would usually ov around CD17. I did try feeding the temps I've taken into FF but it's not enough to confirm ov. I'm worried it's going to turn into a really long cycle, just want to get onto the next one!
