I have a question... I don't temp I just use opks. What are the benefits of temping?

wotsits I leary from the very clever ladies here that temping is important as opks tell you when you are going to ov and temping tells you when you have actually ov'd. Sometimes the hormones surge and gig you a positive opk but you don't release an egg which is why the two together gives you a really complete picture. Then if ot dips back down around AF due day, you can ready yourself to expect AF to visit. Plus we all love obsessing over our temps.

Wotsit my 'gang' from school who are still really close is five girls, I am the only one without DC. Between DH and I we have seven nieces and four nephews, we're the only ones from all the siblings with no DC. It is so so hard. We are all here for you to talk to.

Wotsit, you can buy them on Amazon. Babymad ones are good. They have to have 2 decimal places for accuracy

A few of us have the baby mad hot pink bbt thermometer. It is 2 decimal places, lights up, tests fast and remembers the last temp so you can doze back off and read it when you are more awake. But you have to take it at the same time very day. Join FF and there are lots of articles on how it all works.

And are less than a fiver!

Have total irrational fear this morning. No explanation, no reason. Just feel like I can't deal with the world today. Anyone else ever get the random fears?

Well, CD29 for me. Still no AF. I average a 26, last month was 24 days. Longest has been 29. Feel like someone has punched me in the tits and I am peeing a lot BUT cheapy home bargains test yesterday lunchtime was a BFN (of course!)

boris have you tried rooibus tea? It's decaf and if you like tea it's delicious, plus full of antioxidants. Not sure whether it's any good for dunking biscuits in though

I use the hot pink baby mad one too. It's worked well for me so far.

I'm switching over to my summer duvet today so will see if this sorts out the issue with the high temps.

We'll ladies, I've just signed up to a 10k race in may and two half marathons in the summer. If this doesn't induce the law of sod and get me a sticky bean then nothing will!!

wotsit one of my best friends is pg and my colleague is pg. they are both due on the same day. They and my sis are the only people who know we are TTC. My friend took 3 cycles, my colleague took longer and used opks and my sis is off for IVF next month.

babybump glad to hear your doggy is on the mend. One of my parents dogs had a similar issue and they needed to drain it's glands on a regular basis. Ewww!

Feeling a bit better this morning. I think I was feeling a bit flat last night as I had hoped I would be celebrating my birthday this year with a little bump.

Well my news is that DH has an appointment to give a sperm sample on Friday. I've been really impressed how willing our GP has been to refer us for initial tests. I know these are probably the 'easy' ones but was so convinced that I'd be told to go away and try for a bit longer, we are still young etc.
